Official: Goldson signs new four year deal
Sutton_blows_goats replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I thought i quote posted this last week but seems i never (too much alcohol or old age) - but reading that now looks like its a dig at Gerrard and co. Read Similar quotes from Arfield since and it resonates. -
We would need to pay him big money to keep him. He will be sold this summer imo. Hopefully as I wouldn’t want to lose him on a free
-
Expect Soutter will replace balogun in the squad. Can’t rely on Helander. Katic future is questionable. Leon King needs to be used. Sink or swim time for the lad. If young players are showing potential we need to give them games. Look at how Patterson turned out. If we can get a Patterson every couple of years we’ll be doing great. Lowry and King could go for Patterson money easily after some more games.

Looked like a sensible signing at the time. Young player off the back of a good season, plenty of potential. Didn't work out and we all move on. -

This task cannot be underestimated. I may be critical of the recruitment from time to time but Scoulding in particular has done a fantastic job. -
Hopefully we can get them to commit or sell them on. Aribo and Morelos not so much but Kent in particular we spent 7 million to bring him in. Letting him go for nothing would be a massive blow given how tight our finances are. I don't expect us to spend much this summer unless we can bring in some big fees for the likes of Aribo and Morelos.

Will be interesting to see what happens at Chelsea over the summer, i dont see them spending as freely as they have done in the past.

I feel the same about that as i do about this. There is something inherently wrong about some people having to fight for thier lives while others live it up at singing contests and football matches. It doesn't sit right with me. I don't have a perfect case scenario or an answer to this but it isn't right.

I have no idea how a country full of people who are having sons murdered, daughters raped, homes destroyed, history wiped out, future clouded will give a monkies about a football match.
-
Our captain for me. Most consistent over the year. Lundstram and Bassey really came into it second half of the year.
-
They shouldn't be involved in competitive sports while the country is under attack tbh, seems mental to me. Maybe the country will stop blowing up russian tanks and dodging bombs to watch the game.

The standard of the bottom 6 in the EPL is utter garbage. They can spend 20 million on a player and still have a crap team. Fulham paid £40 million for Serri a few years back and were still utter garbage.

Horrific news. Thoughts with the goalie and his loved ones.

Aaron Ramsey Juve contract terminated?
Sutton_blows_goats replied to BEARGER's topic in Rangers Chat
Rumour is he is going to play in MLS which will suit him as he is done -
Ryan Jack who can’t play more than an hour a game and struggles with two games a week needs to have a think if Scotland duty is worthwhile. That 70 mins in a friendly in Austria 3 days before an old firm game was a really bad idea

Davis and Hagi worked well. Looking to get guys in who are out of favour in a 'try before you buy' approach is the way to do it. Loaning in guys like Sheyi Ojo and Ojaria is not the way to do it. Lansana Coulibaly, Andy King, Aaron Ramsay didn't work out but i suppose at the time were worth a try. I wouldn't rule out loans in the future. Its a common approach in world football and even top teams do it. Especially in Italy.
