I agree with Craig and our manager has said many times, if we bring in a player he has to be better than what we have. Our squad is bloated at the moment and we need to be more efficient with player trading in and out. Cant be paying Barkers 10k a week to do nothing. In the same way cant be paying guys 30k a week for not playing every week, either through injury or not being selected.

Good for Danish national side which is very strong at the moment. Plays as a right winger but loves to cut inside. Bologna play a 3-5-2 and use him at RWB which doesn't suit. He would tear it up for us playing against park the bus. Loves cutting inside and shooting from the edge of the box. Will happily take a man on and commit. About 6"2 so a decent size. Not Sakala fast but not a slouch either. Don't think we will get him in the end up but if we have 5 million to spend I'd roll the dice on this guy. We will likely lose Aribo and Kent in the summer if they don't renew so we would be gambling slightly but this guy is a good option.

If Arfield is ready then great. Probably Kamara - Lundstram - Arfield. Not sure we need Sands for this type of game.

Wouldn't be surprised if Aribo came straight back into the team for Wed. We are very light.

We have conceded 3 goals since GvB took over. One was a penalty given away by a forward. I grew up in the 9iar era and for me the biggest difference between that team and this one is in the midfield. We are very short in that area currently. I can see your point of view but i think we are covered and don't want to give hearts any money. I dont see Soutter as a first choice - i think he will replace Baloguns spot and not replace Goldson or Helander who will be first choice picks. We need to stop being held to ransom by other Scottish clubs. We hold all the cards here and 300k isn't a throwaway for us given we haven't spent any money on transfers in since last summer (i think?)

Couldnt agree more. Cant fathom paying 300k for a player we will have for free in 6 months where we already have Goldson, Helander, Balogun, King, Simpson and Bassey. We could sign a youth prospect or two for 300k.

One of the main issues was that Worrall kept Katic out of the team. Many of our support were concerned we were developing a Nottingham Forest player while leaving our own asset on the bench. Not sure if that is right or wrong but it didn't help the lad.

Absolutely. If he walks for free end of the season he has still been terrific value. Compare him with Helander who has missed a fair chunk of games, cost a similar fee. Probably on a slightly lower wage. Still a quality player. If he walks for free I don't think we look at him with the same value. I'd quite happily take my money back on him in the summer.

Roofe has hardly played for us since his last call up. Not sure why this is part of a major conspiracy. He has major calf issues, long haul flights can reduce circulation in the legs too. Its sensible for him to get back playing first.

Lowry on the ball looked very impressive. Fell out of the game and not sure if it was due to fitness or moving out wide. Looks a bit one paced and not great off the ball so needs to work on that. But looks like a good #10 in the making. Leon King also looked solid - which makes me wonder if we need to push the boat out for Soutter when we have such a promising youngster. I know it was only Stirling Albion. Another missed pen for Tav - i'd expect Roofe will hit them as a first choice but we need our pen takers to be more clinical.

We really need to freshen up in this next week. A RW or #10/8 would be ideal. Even if its a short term loan. Something is needed. Happy to wait for Soutter, talk of 300k - we could bring in a couple of promising youth team players for that.

Lowry was very impressive during the first half. Fell out the game in the second as he got shuffled out wide. His goal was very well taken and seems very comfortable on the ball.

I think Connor Goldson is far better that Forest and WBA. Could comfortably play for any of the bottom half of the EPL imo. Hope there is still a chance we can keep him.

I think that's madness from us personally. We have enough at the back to get us until the summer.

Thought he had a good first half, defended well at times and used the ball well going forward. Second half he suffered as the whole team fell out of the game. Needs more positional discipline but overall looked promising.

Same linesman that missed a double elbow resulting in a bloody nose right in front of him. Probably shouldn't be running the line.

A bit odd they have called him up out of nothing, into a 30 man squad (or thereabouts) for a few games while we have games on. And will most likely not use him. Thats Football.

We were poor last night. Looked an unorganised mess. Not sure what the shape or formation of the team was supposed to be. Ref was terrible too but our non performance also had an impact.
