Seen someone say somewhere Ange has come in with no help and done just about everything there on his own, scout players, sign players, run training, manage the existing backroom staff etc. Gio has come here with a big expensive back room and delivered very little outside the first run of games we had. Looks like he has tried to drastically change things during the winter break and he has made things worse. -

I'm afraid that looks to be reflected across the entire team. I don't see us winning anything under the current management. Just need to be honest and say it. -

i'd say the same of many players Bill. Kent for one. Probably tav too, McGregor beaten too easily at his near post for the second. Too many didn't turn up tonight, which is a wider issue. Management team also got it totally wrong and have done for weeks now, end of season big decisions to make for our board. -

Kamara, Barisic, Kent = all invisible today, We need these guys to step up. They dont care. They have no value now. Next game we move on. -

Disgraceful from start to finish, Our game plan for weeks has been unclear, tonight that came to fruition. No midfield AGAIN. a Ryan Jack who has played 0 games in a year brought in at half time to trn things around.. a very unfair roll of the dice. I will come out and call it now. Management = clueless. Players = gutless. Next 3 games for us decide the league. I'll be amazed if we pick up 9 points. Then for our 'captain' to shun the post match interview and let Ryan Jack do it.. just give it up. You don't have the guts. End of. Too many backed off tonight when it called for aggressive go for it. Barisic and Tav a disgrace. An invisible midfield. An isolated striker. De ja vu. -

It was like something out of the superbowl. An offensive lineman would have been proud of that block. Andy walker said its legal to shoulder barge a player out the way. Not running at full pelt into the guy and knocking him over its not! -

I watched the Hibs V Hearts game last night and Don Robertson totally lost control of it. It degraded from a football match to an overly physical junior game very quickly. On top of missing two penalties for Hearts. Our officials are not fit for purpose. -

I'd agree with this. having to deal with bile and vitriol is not a 'good atmosphere' no matter how much our media try to convey it as such. -

Big question for me is Balogun or Bassey? otherwise I think the team picks itself. Wouldnt include Sands personally. Aribo, Arfield and Kamara should get the nod. -
The guy has done a good job i think. From getting a fee for Grezda in the early days to working some of the other deals he has. Bacuna didn't work out but it was a low risk deal the way it was structured and we managed to get him off the books pretty quickly with no real financial hit. Gut feel he was probably quite restricted in some of the moves he perhaps wanted to make when Gerrard was here, the Lundstram signing as an example was something Gerrard pushed for. Under this management team who are used to the DoF model I expect he will have a bit more freedom to make calls on transfers. Supported by Andy Scoulding(i think he is still our chief scout) and the scouting team I'm confident for the future. Or we could go out and just buy a bunch of wee Japanese guys.

Good window from the club. Moved a few on and made a few good moves for the short term and left possibilities open for longer term. Sands, Soutter and the Polish lad will be good from the summer. Sands may feature now and again this season but we have now real midfield quality. Diallo is a bit short term but then Hagis injury is short term so that was a sensible move, and probably an upgrade for the coming months if we are honest about Hagi's form this year. Ramsey is a very short term move with no real chance of being longer due to his wage. But we had a need, the club filled it. Spent a bit of cash doing so but its worth it if no alternatives were available on permanent deals. I would imagine we tried for some given the timing of the Ramsey transfer. We will sell a few bodies in the summer and have a pot of gold to spend CL or no CL. This is a pragmatic approach from the board and backroom team. Even if we don't win the league this year I don't think many of us can complain we didn't back the manager or the club didn't make moves to improve us. A bit of a lift after Dingwall too. Onwards and upwards

Sands looks like a centre half playing in front of a back 4 to me. Not saying that's a bad thing, it worked out fine fore the likes of rijkaard and desailly while at Milan. But then that system suited it. Kamara looks far more accustomed to playing midfield in terms of what we need from a midfield in the blood and snotters SPFL.

Don't like the idea of us paying a huge fee so Fil Helander has a pal in the treatment room. Same as i don't like us paying 600k for a guy we will have for free from July(Soutter). Also not sure why we have waited to the last minute to arrange this as we could have had him for the last 3 games. 2 of which we dropped points. Edit - would rather chuck that 2 million at goldson for a sign on fee and get a new contract on the table for him...

No tuttosport reporting.. https://www.tuttosport.com/news/calcio/serie-a/juventus/2022/01/31-89381753/juventus_ore_decisive_per_ramsey_ai_rangers Resounding, Ramsey close to farewell to Juve: Rangers appear The Welshman could go on loan to the Glasgow club, he needs the player's last ok TURIN - Aaron Ramsey is one step away from the Glasgow Rangers . A few hours after the market closes, the Welsh midfielder, an expensive Juventus redundant, could find his destination in Scotland in the Glasgow club. The negotiation is in progress and the player's last ok is missing. The formula is that of a loan until the end of the season with Juventus which will help pay part of the salary . The hope of the Juventus club is that Ramsey will finally find some continuity and relaunch himself on a technical level, so as to be able to place him at a definitive level at the end of the season, freeing himself from the last year of engagement.
