  1. I feel the same about that as i do about this. There is something inherently wrong about some people having to fight for thier lives while others live it up at singing contests and football matches. It doesn't sit right with me. I don't have a perfect case scenario or an answer to this but it isn't right.
  2. I have no idea how a country full of people who are having sons murdered, daughters raped, homes destroyed, history wiped out, future clouded will give a monkies about a football match.
  3. Our captain for me. Most consistent over the year. Lundstram and Bassey really came into it second half of the year.
  4. They shouldn't be involved in competitive sports while the country is under attack tbh, seems mental to me. Maybe the country will stop blowing up russian tanks and dodging bombs to watch the game.
  5. The standard of the bottom 6 in the EPL is utter garbage. They can spend 20 million on a player and still have a crap team. Fulham paid £40 million for Serri a few years back and were still utter garbage.
  6. Pretty sure they are effectively skint right now. The whole countries economy is in the toilet.
  7. Horrific news. Thoughts with the goalie and his loved ones.
  8. 3.5 I believe. No way I’d take 7 million for him. He has so much potential. If we are to sell Aribo, Hagi and Lowry are the players who would take up his role.
  9. Rumour is he is going to play in MLS which will suit him as he is done
  10. Ryan Jack who can’t play more than an hour a game and struggles with two games a week needs to have a think if Scotland duty is worthwhile. That 70 mins in a friendly in Austria 3 days before an old firm game was a really bad idea
  11. Only through the rumour mill. Price i seen was around 3 million which for me is too much. He is out of contract after next season too IIRC.
  12. Davis and Hagi worked well. Looking to get guys in who are out of favour in a 'try before you buy' approach is the way to do it. Loaning in guys like Sheyi Ojo and Ojaria is not the way to do it. Lansana Coulibaly, Andy King, Aaron Ramsay didn't work out but i suppose at the time were worth a try. I wouldn't rule out loans in the future. Its a common approach in world football and even top teams do it. Especially in Italy.
  13. His fitness is poor, when he starts he fades out of games after the first half.
  14. Young players like Patterson, Lowry, King and Bassey is what makes money. Not many clubs will pay big bucks for guys like Kent and Morelos who are 26/7. Its the way the market goes. Makes sense to get these guys in the team and get them games.
  15. I see lots of people on twitter getting upset by this but i have no idea why.
  16. Has great potential but how many times have we seen guys like this in the youth teams end up forging out careers at Peterhead and Alloa. Still a long way to go in his development. So we have lost nothing yet. At least if we are getting guys like this in our system we are doing something right.
  17. We need a reliable robust CB to replace Goldson that can perform to a similar standard. Not an easy task. I think given we could potentially be playing Wednesday/Saturday for an entire season the players that struggle to play 1 game a week need to be overlooked.
  18. Considering they have a team full of 50-100 million pound players I'm not surprised.
  19. Getting out of hand now with players being assaulted and Viera was ready to leather some Everton fan for giving him verbal's. Matter of time before it happens up here again unless mitigated. Billy Sharp got headbutted, Robin Olsen attacked and Oli McBurnie stamped on a fan who attached a Sheff United backroom member. Hibs got a free hit at our players all those years ago at Hampden I'm concerned this could happen again and someone could get hurt.
  20. Ross Wilson said different last year before the window. He spoke to sky sports and said the following: Perhaps he considers 2 short term loans and an unknown polish youngster as reinvesting in the squad. I always take it in the sense that we can go and buy other players.
  21. I think its a case of we had little or no other options but had a chance to roll the dice with a guy who could have made a real difference. Meanwhile Skov Olsen ripped it up for Brugge and could be leading them to a League title. 6 Million for that boy is going to seem a bargain in a couple of years. Still wish we could have had him for our right side of attack. it is what it is.
  22. Deserves it so i can see more of his mrs on Instagram. She also has terrific bants
