This season was written off long before a ball was kicked by our board because they prioritised the reduction in costs on the playing staff wage bill. It’s why the manager got a new contract. Anyone wetting the bed about him still being here just hasn’t been paying attention. And I’m not making excuses for the manager here, I think his record in the transfer market hasn’t been great, his team selections baffling. His set pieces are abysmal, some of the stuff he comes out with is laughable. There are massive question marks over him for me personally. But I’m not a decision maker at the club, nor are you or wee guy mods from football forums full of Tims.
