  1. He is 19 and cant speak English. I can understand him taking a while to integrate and settle. I think another year of him may be good for us with a full preseason under his belt. Problem is ten Hag may want to see him in pre season for United before letting him go out on loan.
  2. I quite like the Rangers review, Derek Clarke and Joshua Barrie love football, know all about the game in general. Seem like they enjoy it and seem to attend loads of games wherever possible. I like Clifford and the other lad they have on from H&H at times (bald lad cant recall his name). But McFarlane is a grifter. Barely goes to games. Didn't go to Seville or even any of the big euro away games. Lacks any real general football knowledge (he thought Man U signed Bruno Fernandes from Benfica ffs) and was openly a hibs fan for years. He seems to be the head Rangers guy at the RR but adds the least value. I'll continue to enjoy the free content where he is not involved but I'll never subscribe as its herald group ran. But also because of McFarlane.
  3. Going to get it at some point but going on holiday next week so if i order it online it wont be here on time. Castore have not mastered next day delivery. Not sure why they couldn't have a Glasgow based distribution bub for short term new kit launches. Its not exactly rocket science. They will have a rough idea of how much they will sell after the past couple of years. Ho hum.
  4. https://www.90min.com/posts/brighton-interested-in-rangers-ace-glen-kamara Hasn't really played to his potential under Gio so wouldn't be too upset to see him moved on.
  5. Like the Mayo deal. If he has a good year at Killie he is back next season to take Helanders spot in the squad (contact expires after this year iirc). If he doesnt then its no big loss. Club clearly have confidence in the lad. As does McInnes.
  6. Jake Hastie reportedly going to Hartlepool. A roll of the dice that didn't work out but worth a try at the time. He had a terrific 6 months at Motherwell prior to joining.
  7. True, but personally I don't believe Jon McLaughlin is the answer like some others do. Perhaps the management and coaching staff agree. Perhaps there is a plan to replace McGregor next season. This might be the successful transition. We just dont know what it is from the outside.
  8. Why wouldn't it be the man who only a month ago we trusted with a Europa cup final? I think many who expect McGregor to be a bit part player this season may be surprised.
  9. Reports from Spain Morelos is lined up for a move to Seville for 8 million euros. If he wont sign id rather we cashed in but 8 million euros seems light. We are supposedly back in for Colak. PAOK want 2.5 million. Not sure he is worth that tbh but got to trust the recruitment process. The Aribo and Kent contract situations remain unresolved. Pre season starts next week. We have a bit more time this season for European qualifiers not starting until early August.
  10. SPFL refs need to retire at 45 IIRC. Think EPL refs can go on a bit longer. Might have something to do with it.
  11. problem is the other clubs dont seem to care and are happy with how they run the game
  12. This is a fair point however this story came from Chris Jack who is probably more reliable than most in the mainstream media.
  13. A loan would be sensible for him. If he has a good year away on loan he has a good shout of getting the #1 jersey next season. McGregor surely wont continue and no guarantee McLaughlin is up to it.
  14. Makes you wonder why they agreed the fee if they couldnt afford it, bit like Split with us and Katic
  15. A bit of noise on twitter regarding us having a bid rejected for POAK Croation striker Antonio Colak. He scored against us for Malmo where he was on loan. Unless he is cheap i wouldn't be interested in this. Would he be a decent squad player at the right price? Doesn't really play for PAOK who are below our level.
  16. West Brom keeper Sam Johnston has signed for Crystal Palace. Wonder if that has made a difference for the McGregor deal?
  17. Done. Really enjoy the podcast and varied presenters. Keep up the good work all.
  18. Both would fit our profile of good signings. Not sure we can compete with Wolves mind you(financially).
  19. McGregor also counts towards a 'homegown' player for European registration.
  20. Robbie is 24. When McGregor was 24 he was on loan at Dunfermline. Long way to go. I suspect if McGregor stays as a backup McCrorie will go out on loan.
  21. I agree to a point but it makes sense if their no1 keeper plays against Celtic but cant play against Rangers..
  22. Bizarre link of the summer: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/18933985/robby-mccrorie-man-utd-rangers-transfer/ ROB THE RED? Rangers star Robby McCrorie in line for sensational move to Manchester United
  23. I notice Porto have made/are making a couple of big sales. I wonder if they will come in. They had reported interest last summer.
