Not sure I agree fully with that. Certainly not if our midfield is dead on its arse at mcDairmid park for the Scottish cup tie at the weekend and we get parped out the cup. If we could have got reinforcements in sooner and given the club a lift on and off the field we may regret it. We got by Aberdeen only just at the weekend with a bench as weak as I’ve seen one for years.

Loan to buy only pls. Don’t think an outright 6 month loan would do us any good. RE Bassey. Ajax struggling in general. They don’t have any centre backs and have been recently playing Bassey at lb despite buying a Dutch international Owen Wijndal LB in the summer. The manager doesn’t look like he will last paSt this season if they don’t pick up performances and their transfer business in general this summer seems to have not had the impact hoped. I still think Bassey will prove to be a good player there but they need to sort their defence out.

Well we now have two games to make it 3 in 6 days. To do so with Jack, Kamara and Lundstram who is clearly still struggling with an injury is madness quite frankly. Aberdeen pulled Graeme Shinnie out of somewhere to play for them. Maybe a transfer window somewhere is open and you can bring players in. im probably on the top end of the reactionary scale but the league is in last chance saloon territory. Bringing reinforcements in asap is essential. The manager has publicly stated he has done his part. Do we need to wait to the last few days of the window for a EPL youth and a past it crock to come in like last year?

Interesting seeing Shinnie come into this Aberdeen team from nearly nowhere and dominate the game. What a novel idea needing a midfielder and going to get one.

Not disagreeing with your point there but to the rule the forward doesn’t interfere until he gets on the ball or obstructs a defender. No idea why our defenders switched off knowing play would continue as the forward didn’t show intent to go for the ball
