  1. Hope they do. We will bore the life out of them. Jokes on Abergreen
  2. He made comments to supporters when they left to justify leaving. Things like ‘you don’t know what went on, what we were promised’ I’m not sure there is a relationship there with the club that means he would come back
  3. What’s that saying, a fish rots from the head down. That’s our club right now. Not convinced Gio is the answer but a change of manager won’t fix it.
  4. Maybe Dundee are just really good and your all getting your pants wet over nothing. 😂
  5. Never in a million years is Tavernier ‘fine’. Guy can hardly run. Roofe done more in ten mins than Morelos in his 70. He is not interested. Dreadful performance but in the hat.
  6. Morelos off and Roofe on. Morelos has set the bar very low for Roofe here
  7. Really flat second half. Too many not interested. Dundee really comfortable here and looking to probe for openings. Not good enough
  8. Bit of a meh first half. Scored a good early goal but other than that haven’t troubled Dundee with anything concrete. Morelos looks absolutely miles off it. Useless.
  9. Great play by Wright forces a save from the Dundee keeper who can only parry it for Davis to head in. Great play Wright.
  10. Wolves would be a great opportunity for Beale. They have the players that can play his style. They could even back him with more January funds than Villa give Gerrard (if he is still there). The fact Beale speaks Portuguese is coincidence I'm sure..
  11. I agree, but we seem to have taken that stance with half of our squad and its had a big impact.
  12. Yeah it does make me think how much the two heavy defeats to Celtic and the meek performance at Ibrox v them have put him in a position where he has perhaps been harshly judged. The football isn't great at times but I've seen the same thing under McLeish and Smith especially which resulted in silverware. I also don't think he has been backed in the transfer market like he could have been with funds being directed elsewhere. Then there is injuries which seem to be as bad as I can remember for a long time. I'll admit I was deflated after we beat PSV and never brought in a player or two before the window closed. Its possible the manager and players felt the same and that's had an impact. I'm not ready for the scorched earth approach of getting rid of him right now and getting someone else in. I will be honest and admit I'm not confident we will win the league as things stand now. Even if we win on Saturday and they lose with us going top. If we get reinforcements in the door in January and players back fit that can change. I think he deserves the chance.
  13. Yes mate that's what i said half of ours already injured without it but to be fair we play more games than them last season and so far this.
  14. I agree. However, look at the other side of the city. They play with intensity and as soon as the fixtures pile up their players start dropping like flies. And they have a bigger squad than us. If we were to try and match that intensity perhaps we would have no one left as half of our players are injured as is and the other half need game time managed. Agree we could do more though and need to find a balance.
  15. I see lots of similarities between this team and the team that Gerrard managed. The talk of the horseshoe passing for example was something we seen often under Gerrard. Another similarity was the post winter break sh*t the bed that we had last year. Happened a few times under Gerrard too.
  16. It doesn't help but it does demonstrate that there are small margins in football that can make a big difference.
  17. Considering his playing career that's something I find hard to believe. He captained Holland in a WC final and they only lost when he went off (replaced by Edson Braafheid lost his man for the goal if you can remember him). I think something else is afoot. I think this is fair. And had the loss had been to Hibs and the draw with them then the outlook on Gio would be far different within the fanbase.
