  1. 2-0 Fulham and Douglas Luiz sent off. Villa really poor in all honesty
  2. Fulham go one up v Villa and have been the much better team.. 👀
  3. Too many things to mention but in summary King and the board at loggerheads Gerrard leaving due to broken promises around transfer funds Directors resigning Paul Murray engaging with investment firms to buy the club over Board members speaking to investment firms then taking them to US courts Losing in US courts to this Fox lady and UK courts to Ashley US investors not going away Board reluctant to invest last January and in the summer especially after CL Woeful communication from club on various points High turnover of recruitment staff again with no real comms from club All in isolation probably not much going on but with so much floating about hard to ignore. After the last 12 years supporting Rangers I'd prefer if we didn't have noise like this and could focus on the pitch, but there is always something around the corner.
  4. Wasn't promised he would be. Seen an interview with him earlier talking about staying and he was banging on about realism and transparency, how the budget wasn't great but they set expectations etc
  5. My understanding is they left because they didn't receive funding they expected to get to strengthen after 55. Who set this expectation i don't know. If this is the case I cant see him being interested while this current board is still in place.
  6. She says 'I want to buy' but with someone else's money and likely someone else agenda. This type of method could allow anyone faceless to buy into the club.
  7. There has been a growing trend of Americans buying football clubs (especially British). The ultimate aim will be to gain enough traction for them to monopolise the game. The end goal is some kind of super league, maybe not in the shape or form that has been proposed in the past. But they will shape something that suits thier vision and business model.
  8. Funny but not funny in equal measures.
  9. Apparently Lundstram admitted on that podcast he did with Paddy Pimblet that he has been playing with an injury for a few weeks and has been for a scan.. 🤦‍♀️
  10. So backing a good coach with money to bring in thier own players = good results. Glad we agree
  11. Cant agree at all. Our players are dropping like flies as is. Add that type of play in and we would have no one left by now.
  12. I don't now think it. Thier manager has proven it. Not sure how else you explain thier results.
  13. I see the Dundee manager is doing the usual away manager at Ibrox and blaming the referee for not sending off Sakala. Completely ignoring the fact his team kicked our and stopped play at every opportunity which the referee failed to punish.
  14. Agree but at the same time his basic control and passing was woeful.
  15. Where did I say Lennon, the failed Hibs and Omonia Nicosia manager could play the same way with Ange's players? My whole point was Ange plays this way with his players because he was financially backed to go get HIS players. Not sure how them spending big money on Jota, CCV and small money on Juranovic, Abada, Kyogo, wee baldy runabout man and O'Rielly is going to come back and haunt them. Doesn't seem to be haunting them much right now. The wheels will come off the Ange thing at some point in the next couple of years but they will do what they do well and turn around players for profit.
  16. Between Wright and King for me. Going to give it to King as more consistent over the 90 mins.
  17. Like a bad smell the former Duff and Phelps employee is hanging about and doesn't seem to be going away. At least its a nice distraction from the dirge on the park..
  18. They backed him with cold hard cash and he delivered. That's what happened. I cant remember us every having an injury list this bad in the last 15 years. Maybe towards the end of Advocaats reign when the squad downed tools was the last time. Yes there have always been and will always be injuries. A handful of short term injuries is manageable. What we have right now is verging on crisis. Yes, we know we are going to bring in the managerial equivalent of Jesus who can turn the tepid stale water that is our squad into league winning wine.
  19. I think maybe short term but a number of issues will still remain. Our injury prone players, current injury list, players who need game time managed, lack of available for certain positions that has been apparent for a number of seasons now, players who don’t want to be here (Kent, Morelos, Kamara). Do we have funds to back a new manager In January or will they get a free tour of NEH and a crock on loan/Man U youth in as reinforcements. This board don’t have a great track record in appointing managers. Gerrard was the only one that really worked out and even that took time and had limited success. We have famously stuck by our managers over the years and unless we can get a top drawer guy in to polish this turd that is our current situation I’ll stick thanks. Boring winning football is better than Warburton, Pedro and Murty. People forget how boring and bad we were at times under Gerrard too. Home defeat to Hamilton anyone?
