  1. Those stats speak volumes. @Rousseau The least of our worries perhaps. But I think worth a discussion when approaching his contract situation and roi of any renewal.
  2. I think yesterday has shown us Raskin wasn’t ready fitness wise. Cantwell looked ready though so valid question there.
  3. Pretty sure he was in a job titled director of football at Southampton but made the tea for the real guy in charge of the football operations. Hence why he left to come here as it was a step up in role. im still on the fence with him. On one hand he isn’t a scout so won’t be involved in the technical identity and scouting of players, although ultimately responsible for that activity. And our recruitment hasn’t really been good enough. On the other hand he done well to get so much for the likes of Patterson and Bassey. Can you image what we would have sold them for if Martin Bain was here..
  4. I don’t think it’s a lazy appointment at all. In fact his record so far is much better than any of his predecessors. His values and strengths as a manager will no doubt match our recruitment policy of finding affordable young hungry players to lead us on. Not sure who else should/would have come in instead?
  5. Tcantz an absolute baller. Covers some amount of ground.
  6. The stuff about Raskin wasn’t meant as a direct comparison between the two, just a small scale example of a player being more direct. What you’ve posted is about Raskin yesterday is fine by me and mirrors what I saw. But I still believe Kent could be more direct and hurt teams more. He tends to dwell to much on the ball and hold play up. In an way it’s a style that’s really effective for us in Europe at times, but I think holds us back domestically.
  7. It depends at what cost for me. 25k a week for 3 years and yes I’d resign. Anything north of that and I’ll be happy to let him go. I don’t think he has improved much since he joined and has little chance of being sold on if he does renew.
  8. Neither of these points negate the overall view that Kent slows down our attacks in general, not just yesterday.
  9. Kent in the second half yesterday was a great example of how he slows us and our play down at times. Constrast with Raskin who is a head up move forward football. If there is space he will run into it. If there is a forward pass he will play it.
  10. I think that's fair, we could use better leadership from our board, a public facing leader like Dave King or David Homes. But other than that what do they expect? David Murray back? A middle eastern sheik buying us for a laugh?
  11. Good three points and first half. Second reverted to type.
  12. Haven’t came back out for the second half. Speaks volumes about this team.
  13. Great performance so far. Some real good link up and direct play at times. Great to watch. Cloak looks sharp. Sakala, Cantwell and Raskin all impressive. But yet another week of getting kicked off the park and no cards. Killie players going down at the slightest or no touch getting free kicks. Do we have a lighting issue at ibrox? Why can’t the officials see it? Thankfully VAR picked up on the penalty that was pretty obvious during open play. How the Govan linesman missed that.. well maybe he never.
  14. I’d go with GK McGregor DR Tav DC Goldson DC Davies DL Devine CM Raskin CM Jack AM Cantwell AM Kent FC Morelos (dropping deeper) FC Colak
  15. yeah, looks like the SPFL soy cucks sold the rights for the next 900 years and now SKY cant be arsed showing our games. Funny eh. Rangers TV. Sponsored by NordVpn
  16. I still like them better than gio grunting his way through 5 mins of nothing. I still like the honesty but I see your point about the support in general.
  17. Well then he is stupid because everyone knew the state of play when he came in, him more than most. I think he can turn it round.
  18. https://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/23358849.michael-beale-reveals-tom-lawrence-kemar-roofe-double-rangers-blow/
  19. Dont think anyone lied. I think if anything he came back expecting to pick up where he left off after 55 (which he keeps referring to). needing minimal funds to progress. Maybe now he has realised what many of us have known for a while - there is a rot in this squad and it needs cut out.
  20. Then he will fall on his sword. His own making.
  21. I dont agree, we need to move on the 15 million/150k p/w wages or so of talent we cant get fit and the usual suspects that cant be counted on to be match ready like Jack, Davis, Arfield etc (as harsh as that sounds) Move on guys like Lundstram/Kamara/Tav/Sakala/Hagi(who i love btw) if we get decent bids. Let Morelos and Kent move on and free up the wages. Both players are approaching thier peak years as players but seem to be no better than they were when they first arrived. If we do better with what we have we would be in a much better place. If anyone can refresh the squad with young, hungry players. Its Beale. We have been talking about refresh/revamp/rebuild for a number of summers now. Its time to actually grow a pair of balls and do it.
  22. Michael Beale said when he first arrived 'This squads not as broken as people think'. Wonder if he still thinks that.
  23. Just seen the news about Roofe injured again and needs to see a specialist. Is out for the season. Glad I was sitting down when I read it. Such a shock.
  24. He might have improved but still can’t do the basics expected of a full back like stop men running at him, block crosses or track runners who end up scoring at the back post which he manages to do in every game we lose v them.
