  1. Larrson had a leg break. Mols had a similar injury to Hagi. Really impacted Mols ability to do his trademark turn. Two really different injuries.
  2. This has escalated somewhat and people are now very excited for his return. I am concerned people are setting high expectations for a guy thats missed a year of football.
  3. I disagree, the manager does not wear tracksuits, the old managers office is used for signing contracts. Not all of it will still be in place. Struth took over 100 years ago. Things change over time. If its all gone then we just sell up Ibrox and build a 70k stadium somewhere. Stadium expansion problem sorted.
  4. Not looking forward to this at all. I've been thinking for a while football has been dying as a supporter orientated event. This WC proves it.
  5. To me our brand is hard work leads to success and keeping true to our core traditional values. Little things like our manager still wearing a suit on the side-line. Its a bit of a meme within some of the support but goes back to the days of Struth and some of the values he instilled that should still be there today.
  6. That sky thing is a troll. Probably one of the Celtc lapdogs driving it. Probably why they are so keen to short-change Scottish footballs TV deal for favourable coverage.

  8. We have seen this kind of thing before with the board with the whole Murty stuff and it ended quite badly for Murty and a few players, like Miller/Wallace who ended up leaving and Halliday having a fallout with him too. We have already seen Kamara, Lundstram and Tav show dissent towards the manager and team mates. Poor show.
  9. If he was going or we were looking for a replacement there would be *some* noise somewhere. There is not a peep anywhere about anything. Nothing is happening.
  10. This is where I'm coming from. Expectation setting costs nothing but means the world. As for your last sentence, well again its the result of the vacuum. People will fill it somehow. Its fairly harmless posters on message boards speculating but these things can (and occasionally do) grow arms and legs. Who knows where it can end up.
  11. Great to see, love that guy. Hopefully he has a great 6 months and we can renew his contract 😍
  12. Dont need to pay him off can just keep paying them for nothing like we do Roofe and Helander.
  13. They have taken it down apparently
  14. Out of those you listed only Goldson and Hagi have ever been regular and contributing well. Roofe is a waste of a squad place, Davies seems to be another Roofe and Sakala is clearly not favoured by Gio nor has he made an impact recently despite showing up well. Lawrence would be good to get back but he is another the club are basically closing down comms on and pretending he doesn't exist for some reason. These players coming back doesn't fix our dreadful defending at corners and throw ins, our clear lack of attacking capability at attacking set pieces and throw ins, our possession heavy low impact style, our dreadful away record under this coaching staff, our habitual reverting to crossing constantly when we run out of ideas after 20 minutes. Not to mention we have so many players dropping like flies right now that there is no guarantee any of these guys dont get injured again in the short term. This idea that getting a few players back from injury is going to fix our problems is lunacy. We have 4 games before the transfer window opens and we will not take full points. Including trips to Dingwall and Aberdeen which cost us last season with a near full compliment of players to chose from. As the league will pretty much be over I doubt we will bring in anyone over the window as there isn't really much point given we'll have a manager on the way out and a team going through the motions. It looks like all the eggs are going in next seasons basket.
  15. Quite clear he is going nowhere and the board are going to have him Murty through the season. They have written this season off by not removing him a few weeks back. Going to be fun having a re run of the pre Gerrard days. When Gerrard left we had an international break to move quickly, get a new manager in and have a LC Semi against Hibs to win. They took forever with the process and the result was a capitulation at Hampden. Definition of insanity etc etc
  16. Dont worry about the lack of announcement or movement on the manager. You can spend 50 on a print of our record defeat. https://rangers.arenaimagestore.com/products/30x11-rangers-v-liverpool-panoramic-framed-print
  17. They rubbished the press conference (imagine Gio and Ross Wilson sitting in front of the press announcing he is gone), never mentioned no announcement or statement IIRC
  18. Agree that Gerrard's reluctance to let us sell players has held us back, perhaps he knew he'd be leaving before these problems came to a head and thus didn't really care about the results of his action. I suppose that's why its important to have a DoF who can think strategically rather than short term players wise. At least that's the idea. And that's why we should have sold Kamara in the summer. That's why we should have replaced Dr Waller. We should have some on the coaching staff to support the current management team rather than giving the current team a full loadout of coaches. If our transfer windows haven't proven to be good then the recruitment staff should be accountable. The DoF should do this but there are gaps there. There is truth to this, but to quote a great Eddie Murphy sketch 'what have you done for me lately'. Both Gio and the board have delivered in the past. There can be no argument. However this does not mean they are beyond criticism for where we find ourselves now. Imagine applying that logic to a player? Well looks like we do hence we still have the likes of Steve Davis and Allan McGregor playing for us. This is also true and for everything this board have done for us off the park and financially, improved our youth setup, our woman's setup. All fantastic. There have been issues with the Ange homecoming tour and surrounding PR, the public spats with SD and Cinch. But they have succeeded in getting us on a good footing financially. However when it comes to on the field decisions they have proven to been inactive when needed and without inspiration, especially when it comes to managerial appointments. Gerrard being the exception but that was also close to not working out if you recall the pre covid collapse. The way Murty was left in the firing line for so long also doesn't sit right with me, he should have been removed long before he was. Communication from the board and the lack of a figurehead for the club is big issue. That's not me being ungrateful. I'm trying to point out things that I think can be improved. I dont demand the likes of Park and Bennet get out of the club if they dont want to be that figurehead, they can appoint a David Holmes type to do it for them and protect thier investment in the club.
  19. I still feel like the manager and players expected reinforcements when we qualified for the CL. When nothing came in it would affect confidence among the squad. I'm speculating here obviously but we have all seen first hand the lack of comms from the top down at this club. But yes the players could have done more. And the signs of decent among the squad are rife. They have checked out. I see Helander has had an article in the Glasgow Times 'Slamming' rumours about his fitness. Well, perhaps if the club went public about his injury and set expectations there wouldn't be any rumours? Just a thought.
  20. We dont need to we are not on the stock market
  21. They would just make a statement. Hopefully the chap on twitter is correct, if not he should get pelters from bears for getting peoples hopes up to punt his Rangers da podcast no one cares about.
  22. He wont come he fell out with the board with Gerrard & co
