They have apparently knocked back a bid of 5 million from us for him. A bit part player who is in his mid twenties and played one full year of professional football. They got him for free last season, likely not on big money (which is why we will be interested). This one is a bold move and certainly not without risk.

Was referring to the stats you posted with minutes played. Worked out about 15 full games worth of minutes. I know the Mexican lad was good for Feyenoord though.

RIP Craig. Wasn't my cup of tea but had a great football career. Managed his country. Managed to take Scotland to a world cup and beat Morocco on corners. (just a light hearted comment as everytime I think of Craig Brown I think of that and it raises a smile)

Yep, look at the issues the COVID effected supply chain caused with NEH build, costs increased massively. Its something affecting all construction at the moment not just football clubs. In addition to supply chain issues the whole net zero thing is making using concrete expensive too (as a small scale example).
