  1. I think he may end up being our best signing of the summer. I have nothing to base this on except guessing. But I think he will suit us domestically and in europe.
  2. The big sports in the US run their own streaming services. MLB, NFL, NBA. Wouldn’t be surprised if UEFA / EPL / La Liga etc go down that road. Cut out the middle man save cash maximum profit.
  3. The US teams will end up in too, there is no way there can be so many US owned European clubs with a voice at the table and not want them involved.
  4. I've seen a few fans complain we are getting 500k for him and it should be more. He couldn't get a game for Aberdeen before he came to us.
  5. One of us or them is on it each year. It’ll be their guy next year
  6. Dujon Sterling can play LB and i'd expect one of Trusty / Panzo or a similar player could cover should they come in.
  7. Last year of contract too. I’m not a fan and would be happy to see the back of him.
  8. Would it? I thought a sacking would be the result of him breaching his employment contact via gross negligence or similar and thus he’d be binned off with no additional pay. However I don’t think Celtic want him gone so he won’t go anywhere
  9. Making a profit on Colak would be superb, making our money back is also a good deal if the reported sum is euros. Sakala just cant be relied upon, the two open goal misses v them in the cup games last season was enough for me to move him on. £4 Million for a guy we got 2 decent seasons out of after signing on a bosman (albeit with a decent sign on fee for him and his agent no doubt). Its deals like that which are key to any player trading model. Not every player will be an Aribo or Bassey.
  10. If Chris Jack is reporting I expect it’s close
  11. Good to see our usual luck with injuries is continuing
  12. Quite simply they picked him as he was the best option at the time. But that doesn’t make him a good player. Gio liked him so much he bought a guy to replace him. Croatia do have options. Like the non left backs that play ahead of him..
  13. Absolutely, but Barisic running away from Salah letting him do whatever he wanted that night will enrage me for ever more. Yeah Salah is a good player but that’s no excuse for just standing off and letting him run away. There are too many examples of Barisic doing similar especially at Parkhead where he is prone to a vanishing act.
  14. Borna has hardly played for Croatia recently behind Borna Sosa a left winger for Stuttgart who is just ok and a 35 year old Perisic who until recently played as a forward. Tbh the croatia international thing is overplayed in defence of him. They have little or no options at left back.
  15. You’ve lost me Cammy. Are you telling me Barisic is as good a defender as Papac?
  16. With the amount of Clubs US and Middle Eastern owned it’s a matter of time before they can vote to change the structure of European football to incorporate their soulless franchises. This IMO is the beginning of the end for football as we know it.
  17. Yilmaz had absolutely nothing to do with some of the downright disgraceful ‘performances’ Barisic put in last season. I genuinely couldn’t care less about his elite level crossing for SPL standards. Give me a Papac who can defend any day of the week. Our capitulations at Scumhut and home to Liverpool Barisic was his usual self. A decent cross v St Mirren changes nothing.
  18. I think that’s either revisionism or very low standards. He was utter dung for most of last season. Hes also going into the last year of his contract, we got less output from Kent and Morelos in the same scenario and I’d wager the best move would be to move him on now rather than endure another season of him running away from guys dribbling at him.
  19. Good to have him on board. Now need to move on some of the deadwood like Kamara, Barisic and Colak. Maybe even the likes of Sakala if we get a decent bid in.
