  1. Boyd also cost 500k and was on ten grand a week. Dessers was about 5 million and not far off 30k per week. So Boyd’s shortcomings were far more palatable.
  2. Cant you read mate. CERNY IS RUBBISH Not sure why you are going on about Bajrami and Jefte Reading is hard i know.
  3. What's different from what I said? Happy turd polishing. Not too early to write Cerny off, guy is rubbish. Glad is only a rental.
  4. This may not go down well but I'm just going to say it Dessers - Flat track bully, a 5 million 30k a week Kris Boyd. Will beat the rest but offer nothing against the best. Cerny - one of the worst players I have ever seen. What is this? A bald Capucho? No pace, no skill, no work effort? What does he offer? Diomande - our best player. We want our best player to be Gazza / Laudrup / Morelos etc. We are not there, But the visible lift when this guy is on the park in unreal. Barron / Jefte - half a million £ goes a long way when you spend it wisley. Bajrami - we have spent 4 million on just ok. We should have 4 of this guy in the squad.
  5. Dave King calling for an EGM to get back in the top seat to drive change. King walked willingly IIRC. Leaving the guys that were then in control in control? Surely this is a mess of his own making. Making comments about Gerrard not leaving if he was still there and so on isn't the Win he thinks it is.
  6. We need to understand how we can maximise the protentional of our club as a leader in Scotland and a massive share of the market. We need to understand how to play football politics better and leverage influence to create scenarios which benefits us. We have been absolutely useless at this for years, Murray was a large part of the problem as he seen himself as a giant who was untouchable. The sooner we realise that in the SPFL that 2 idiots can outvote a genius and start to play smart we will always be swimming upstream.
  7. There was a few ex pros who said the reserve league was great for them as a youngster as they got to play with / against guys who were also 1st team players for their teams and it helped them adjust. The gap between B team and first team is too big. On @yuddie's point about Dumbarton. I've said before just buy them through a myriad of shell companies like Ashley did with us. The loan / transfer them all our talent with contract clauses we get first dibs.
  8. I wish Beale and Wilson didn't make any signings for us. R9 Ronaldo, Emmanuel Petit & Kennet Anderson - all at the time would have been fantastic signings.
  9. I do not know what problem 2 Hollywood stars, American based VC firms, Saudi investment fixes. For me we are in the mess we are in because we have not recruited properly on the footballing side or in the footballing operations department. We have spent money badly. That is the problem. More money does not fix that problem. Especially when that money comes from somewhere that focuses on ROI. The fix to our issues is easy. Do better with the money we have.
  10. Agree 100% Tony Bloom of Brighton is sniffing about Hearts at the moment and most of them seem up for becoming Brighton and USG's feeder club. Bizarre mindset.
  11. Maybe - he has been on the bench for every game he hasn't played as far as I can tell.
  12. This is undeniable yes. Change is needed. What that looks like is what concerns me. Just my opinion, but as soon as an American gets ownership of our club, the club ceases to be and only a franchise exists. I'd hate to be part of any city / red bull group type set up and Americans only care about one thing. The mighty $.
  13. Quick update on some of the guys that have left. OUT - Kieran Wright (25) – on loan OUT - Robby McCrorie (26) - signed for Kilmarnock, already been dropped and lost his place in the team OUT - Sam Lammers (27) - sold to Twente plays most weeks and scored a couple of goals. OUT - Connor Goldson (31) - sold to Aris Limassol OUT - Todd Cantwell - sold to Blackburn Rovers → Contracts ending Summer 2024 Jon McLaughlin (36) - contract 6/2024 - signed backup at Swansea City Kemar Roofe (30) - ST - contract 6/2024 - still without a club Borna Barisic (31) - LB - contract 6/2024 - at Trabzonspor, plays rotated with their Turkish lad. Ryan Jack (32) – CM - contract 6/2024 - signed for a Turkish 2nd division outfit, on the bench at the weekend. John Lundstram (30) - CM - contract 6/2024 - signed for Trabzonspor. Played early on but dropped recently. 'Lundstram is a very heavy and cumbersome football player.' - technical director Senol Gunes Abdallah Sima (22) - RW/ST - contract till 2024 (season long loan) joined Breast, will play in the CL. Fabio Silva (21) - ST – loan to Las Palmas to play with Oli MCBurnie and Scott McKenna. Not played yet. Reason for the update - I think this illustrates how these guys we have lost wouldn't add any value (out with Sima) and we shouldn't be concerned with letting highly paid / low performing players go.
  14. I voted Barron. Shout out though for Jefte. A 500k 20 year old Brazilian, been here 5 minutes who looks like he has been playing for us for years. How refreshing that a left back can play 3 games in a row and not get injured for 2 months.
  15. Interesting that hamza Igamane has played about 40 mins in total for us, 20 of them in a 3-0 doing from our biggest rivals. And the general consensus throughout the support is that he looks like a player. Could it be that we are not a miserable, high demanding support and simply that we crave players that can demonstrate they can contribute in a specific way? Dessers offered nothing today out with the work effort. I'm not going to go into the same old stuff we have all done to death, but perhaps we just want a forward that can play like a forward focal point and not just score goals.
  16. I'm not sure he is the one to take us forward. I think we need some long term stability, King will come in with a flash of bluster, make changes, unsettle things then leave again. If he gets involved I'm not sure it wont be with the overall aim of punting his own shares to whatever investors he claims to be able to bring in. I don't want that kind of investment. Not in the form of random Arabs or Americans buying shares. Investment through maximising commercial income, player trading, having a robust operating model yeah sure, bring it on.
  17. Our players can’t even challenge for the ball and Don gives them a free kick.
  18. First twenty minutes Real Madrid, rest of the game ross County. Not good enough lads game is 90 mins plus.
  19. That’s a harsh booking for Sterling and then Jefte. Ref is at it.
  20. Igamane has just done more forward link up play in this game that Dessers has all season with that chance for Lawrence.
