We don’t know that the players weren’t given specific instructions to do something else, occupy other spaces or even let mcgregor have the ball. it’s entirely possible that Beale was outsmarted by Rodger’s today. Which isn’t hard to believe as he has been outsmarted by Peter bosz and Derek McInnes already this season.

Celtic never turned up today. Apart from a ten minutes spell in the first half they sat in the low block and we offered absolutely nothing. Yes we were unlucky with the disallowed goal. But with the amount of possession we had (second half especially) to create no real quality chances and look like we’ve never even seen a football before. We don’t play them until after new year now and we will be lucky to be single figures behind. Teams know they can sit in and we have no cutting edge, chance creation or real game plan.
