I see that Castore have been binned by Newcastle and are having issues with Villa. So this might be a way for them to punt some more tat to make up for it.

As a #9 or with a #9 right down the middle leading the line but allowing him the freedom to drop deep. He seemed to be playing right mid at times and #6 at others last night. I don't think he can hurt teams there.

I don't think Dessers is as bad as made out. Not much coming off for him recently but I have a feeling he is a streaky player and will hit a run of form soon. Lammers not being used correctly.

Thoughts on Cifuentes last night, and past couple of games? I've yet to see anything of real quality from him other than a good ball to Danilo in Servette. Another one who doesn't look to be better than was already here. Lundstram is looking like our best midfielder at the moment, which worries me. He is never far away from his form falling off a cliff.

I believe we play them twice in a short space of time. Hopefully we have some of the walking wounded back by then.

I think what was meant was that from where Sima picked up the ball and what he had to do to score in terms of xG it was a 'low quality' chance - meaning players don't often score from there. The goal and finish itself was class.

At times last night he was playing as a right mid or a #6. Bizarre. Get the ball into his feet in / around the box. What was our xG last night? We got lucky with Sima's 2 goals as one could have been given as a foul the other a deflection. Ridvans a wondergoal. The only 'pure' team goal was the last one.

If that was the other way about and a Livi player puts his hand on our fullback, the fullback goes down and the Livi player scores. There is no way any ref gives us a free kick or disallowed the goal. It’s utter garbage. As you said the narrative that comes out anytime we don’t get a decision against us is relentless.
