Fair play to him for playing, would be easy to just feign injury. Same with Lammers. -

I’ve got a good idea. We should give the ball to our fullbacks so they can cross it in to two of our players in the box v 6 defenders. They will never expect that. -

Shocker of a challenge on wright. Stonewall red. How can they only give a yellow. Think the officials will be wearing new Rolex’s after this game. -

Dessers starts? Davis out! (joke) -
Cedric Itten playing in the CL and scoring. But we are not a CL team most will say.
-
He will take over a jobber team in the championship , do well for 6 months then the wheels will fall off. He will also need to get back involved with youth football or he will have ran out of players to sign by 2028 as all the players he worked with and against would have all retired.

And he was complaining about the referee making 'strange decisions' after the game. Cant make it up.

I think the only person that made Warburtons job more difficult was Warburton. He came in and refreshed the playing squad with some great young players. Tav and Waghorn being the standouts when first appointed. His pursuit and signing of O'Halloran was baffling the following winter. The signings of Crooks and Windass were exciting to the support on pre-contracts. Then in his second season and our return to the top flight he had completely 180 his signing policy and started signing guys like Senderos, Kranjkar and Barton. His lengthy pursuit and big money signing Joe Garner turning out to be a client of a player agency his daughter had involvement with made it seem rather murky. I remember his quote when he seen the supporter display at the first home game back against Hamilton 'Going for 55' - he said his heart sank the moment he saw it. I think that sums up the mentality of the man. We were never going to win the league that year, everyone knew it but it was a signal of intent to build something that we could challenge with in subsequent years. A challenge Warburton himself didn't think he was up to. -

If we are even considering or talking to Lampard then that's a sign of real incompetence from the powers that be. -
