[2023] Who should be the next Rangers manager?
Sutton_blows_goats replied to BlackSocksRedTops's topic in Rangers Chat
This reinforces my gut feel on Muscat. We will go for him due to Stuart Gibson. -
Not sure I align with this way of thinking. I'm sure in our own working lives we have all come across the great incompetents and the sooner they are dealt with the better. The longer its left the more problems arise.

Calories in Calories out I thought was undeniable? Not sure genetics can can circumvent it but I admit I'm not an expert.

Its incredibly important for kids and young professionals to have the correct diet and workout routine. The likes of Lowry and McCausland could easily be put on a high calorie diet to help them develop physically. Maybe they have and they are not following it. Being a professional isn't just about being good at kicking a ball.

Needs a diet of stake pies.

I was nearly lynched on here after suggesting he was a dud and should be binned after the Killie game. Doesn’t surprise me tbh. Suppose lots of posters on here are enteral optimists. Not a bad thing.

How come we can see who voted here but couldn't see who voted for McInnes? -

One thing is clear. The baldies are the superior race. -

This thread has gone off on a Jeff Banks like tangent. -

It’ll be Muscat. I’d prefer Clement but Muscats clearly the boards #1. -

Doesn't matter what you think. The board will appoint who they want and you'll just need to accept it. -

I think Glasgow is too much of a fishbowl to do it so London makes sense. I wouldn't be too sure on Muscat. I wouldn't be surprised if Stuart Gibson has pushed him as a candidate either. He spoke previously about having football connections in the far east. He is a major shareholder based in Japan. -

This is a big issue I have with our recent transfer business. Probably a big driver in Hagi leaving was the fact we couldn't fit him in the Euro squad. Also worth noting that Rice and Lovelace, our 2 most promising youngsters couldn't be registered in the squad. These restrictions are not new. Ross Wilson should have been planning on mitigating it but clearly wasn't. This is an issue that cant be fixed in one transfer window unless we go out and get John Fleck, Ryan Hardie or other players that are technically 'homegrown' for us. But they are not good enough. This is a problem that transcends managers and will have us hamstrung in Europe for years unless we magically produce around 4 first team ready youngsters. -
Agree, we have spent plenty of money and spending big on wages. Just not spent it well sadly.

FF are watching and quoting this, going to spread like wildfire over the next few hours I’d imagine. I hope your source is correct i that’s our best option. -
We are a club stuck in the past. 2012. 55. Seville. Forget it all and think about now and how we move forward from here.

That was a good result today but let’s not kid ourselves that was a dung performance against ten men for most of the game. We really toiled against them and had the penalty incident not happened how would we have broken the deadlock. Hopefully a new manager is en route asap and we are not waiting too long.
