  1. yeah maybe but both have done so again recently. St Mirren, Aberdeen and Kilmarnock are all Celtics bum chums.
  2. I suspect that is in retaliation to us taking the stand off the tims. The timing is suss.
  3. You new to this? They always get the support they need to pass anything that suits them. Junk email filters for the win.
  4. He didn’t get on the park. Hopefully gets gametime at the weekend in the cup.
  5. Asking the SPFL for help in a dispute v Celtic is like asking rose for help catching Fred West.
  6. I'd go: McRorie Sterling Soutter Balogun Ridvan (if fit) Lundstram Dowell Hagi Lammers Sima Dessers Matondo / Danilo to come on after 60 mins. Maybe give Lawrence 10 mins if ready. Roofe i'd avoid in case he gets injured. Save him for league cameos.
  7. The irony is we are showing up better in Europe now than we did when we had these guys. We got to a European final with a team that cost about 14 million. Roofe and Kent made up most of that. That would have bought a couple of players under Advocaat. Funny old game.
  8. Brugges have Ronny Diela as manager so will probably be ragdolled by any decent opposition. I'm torn on this thing, I am not sure we have the squad to play in something like this and challenge domestically. if its an additional 6 games for example on top of Europe (if we need to go through qualifiers again) it will stretch us. But on the other hand the money and exposure will be good.
  9. This is true. It was also true of Bassey after his first season. In all honesty he looked very bad. But he got a chance, took it and the rest is history. Im not suggesting it’s guaranteed Ridvan will do the same. Given the fact he can’t stay fit it’s highly unlikely. But we have had Barisics best years and it’s probably time for both parties to move on at the end of the season. I suppose it’s easier to write off a guy approaching the end of his career than it is a guy just starting it out.
  10. One of my favourite players during 55 but regressed really badly. I always think about that lap of honour he did when we beat them 1-0 at Ibrox - did he think he was away? Did something fall through. A very one dimensional player. Granted that one dimension is excellent. But the guy cant run, he cant defend and he isn't the best with the ball at his feet. He will be 31 shortly. We should let him go at the end of the contract, thank him for his services and good luck to him.
  11. He should have done a bit better from the cross which came off his shoulder too but I still think he is not fit.
  12. That 1st save from Butland gets better every time I see it. He was brilliant last night. Can be relied on. Kicking is a bit Stefan Klos but if his goalkeeping is like it (pre injury) then we are on to a good thing.
  13. Really not seeing anything with Sima. Would be inclined to send him back. In all brutal honesty we probably would be better off with Martin Boyle as much as he is a dislikeable little pleb. He has genuine pace and can cause problems in games like last night. Sima only caused problems to us.
  14. The left back they had went back to Germany he was on loan. Sangare the midfielder has been linked with forest but more likely he leaves after they play us at the end of the window. 35 million supposedly.
  15. I think they are weaker this year without Gakpo and Simmons both top class players.
  16. Butland superb tonight, kicking apart. Raskin bossed the second half 😎
  17. Cifu and Raskin are playing far wider and it’s giving us a bit more protection v them in midfield
  18. They have us sussed here so unless we change something this is going one way.
  19. This game is a bit like the Killie game, we are not looking dangerous. On that occasion we made a good chance Danilo missed a sitter. Different faces same problems.
