Oh, I am. I've got a list of new swear word combos at the ready.
-
Real shame they went out so early, but you either stay in or you don't.

I think with Gerrard it's a difficult call. In some ways he's a similar type of player to BF, but he's just got more of everything. If he loosened off his game he might end up more like Barry - a player that could do more & play better in many aspects of his game & essentially a player that's just not playing to the best of his abilities. Might sound a bit sad to some here, but I reckon Barry could do worse than modelling himself on Gerrard.
-
Not a huge fan either really, but they do play quality football a lot of the time. Jonc127 - Think I know what you mean about Gerrard, but if our own BF performed to 70% the standard of that man we'd be a lot better off for it. I haven't always rated him, but the guy just goes on & on like Ariston.... phenomenal player. cheers, Mark

Yeh, that's great to see & he deserves it. Quality player & his work rate is normally sensational just like some of the other players in the team - Gerrard in particular.
-
I don't think he deserves to start for us at all never mind in such an important game. Also don't think he should be given the chance to prove himself to the fans in the first Old Firm game of the season. I think a fair few of the other lot will be rubbing their hands with anticipation at Misser coming on the park to rumbles of heckling from the RFC support. They'll all be ready to p*ss their pants at the hilarity of the matter knowing that it might just upset our support even more than they already will be at the site of Misser. Easy situation for them to attempt to exasperate. I could see the point of giving him a chance at an Old Firm game later in the season *IF* by some freakish miracle he's somehow managed to notch up 10+ goals by then, but now? Nah, no way. If he starts I'll be well and truly annoyed.
-
Sounds about right Pete, but how many people who are drinkers do you know that end up "standing on a table with his cock out pissing infront of the customers proclaiming "do you know who i am"." ?
-
I'd rather see Boyd get the start up front than Misser. We need someone that's going to score goals after all & if he gets the right service & chances I think Boyd will do just that - score for us.
-
With players that have done that type of thing over the years, I'm not convinced that they couldn't handle the fame as much as couldn't handle the drink & drugs. It would certainly seem like these types of characters simply haven't had the will power & strength of character to go out partying & not drink too much or say no to certain other substances. There could have been occasions where players drinks were spiked, but that's giving them the benefit of the doubt when they might not actually deserve it.
-
I like the look of that, but I'd love to see this one:- --------------------Mcgregor Whittaker-------Boogy------Weir------Papac ------Davis--------Mendes----Thomson Novo--------------------------------Aaron -------------------Boyd ~with Beasley or Lafferty coming on for Aaron about 60 mins in. I'd give Boyd the 90mins because I think he will get us at least 1 goal if given the right service & the full 90+ on the park.

I respectfully disagree. For me, Walter is saying all the right things at a time when he's being asked a lot of idiotic questions by the press. I'm not saying he hasn't made tactical mistakes because I think fielding a team that includes Miller & McCulloch is a gross error, but if WS is asked these stupid questions he's got to stand tall and not seem like he's ready to cave in, loose his balls & start greeting. He honestly deserves our respect imo & he's gonna have mine until the day he hands over to someone else.
-
That's for the sheep shaggers to see to!
-
I don't drink. :cough:
-
Keep Miller & sell Boyd?? Gribz, you're either mad or mad.
-
That's fair enough pete. I see the point now, but still don't think it's a major issue. I don't expect anyone to put their hands in their pockets on behalf of RFC very often if they get the amount of abuse that SDM gets. :fish:
-
Yep, looking forward to seeing what Edu can do for us.
-
Because I'm almost 100% certain that SDM respects the management staff he employs. You don't get as far as he has by employing people you don't respect & have a lot of time for. My point with that is that he knows fine well that RFC needs success & also knows fine well that his management staff will be called into question as much as he will if the success isn't delivered. And no I'm not his pal. I think that's pretty obvious. Does being out of Europe & facing a 'must win the SPL' season ring any bells? As I've already said, imo rabbles of protesters aren't going to help these issues or win us the SPL for that matter. They could in fact actually do more damage to the overall moral at RFC & that's why I think we (or at least I) have to call such actions into question. If I wanted to cause chaos at parkhead one way I could achieve it is by dawning some hoops & protesting outside their ground. Not that I could personally do that (just wouldn't be able to get the stink off), but maybe you can see where I'm coming from. Of course not & I don't think that's much of an issue either, so I don't see your point at all.
-
It's not all about SDM and you can be sure that HE doesn't see it that way! The whole club is on the line & not because of a rabble of protesters. Let's not forget that there's other people's jobs eventually at stake as well. Ploughing some cash in when it's most needed seems to be getting misread.
-
So do I, but I don't think protesting outside the ground is going to help. If some people think it will, then that's up to them, but they needn't expect everyone to think that's the right thing to do or that it's going to help the club as a whole.
-
Btw, despite the fact that I think KM is sheeite, I think the booing of him at the weekend was well out of order.
-
Egos come into it when people think they're more than what they are. The protesters don't do much except damage the name of RFC supporters & the club itself. cheers, Mark
-
Well, I personally think that guys that think they're doing the right thing for RFC by standing outside Ibrox hurling abuse at SDM come into that category. No, of course not. We're all entitled to our opinion. I'm simply calling into question the people that think they ARE RFC because they spend their wages on tickets & travelling to matches. That doesn't make any fan or supporter THE club. The people or a section of the people, but not the club. A fan or supporter is just that & nothing more. Some of them either just seem to forget that fact or don't know what planet they're on. RFC isn't going to collapse into mediocrity because a few thousand fans think they're so important that they can attempt to hold the club over a barrel. Righty ho. Obviously I've struck a nerve.

KM struggles to put in 20 goals in 3 seasons, so I don't quite see the point of bringing cousin or JCD into the equation since they both scored a decent number of goals for us last season; each scored more in 1 season for us than KM scored in his previous 2/3 seasons. The situation with Misser as I see it, is that you can't turn a pig into a supermodel.
