Well I used that phrase as well, but I didn't get it from Murray because I don't listen to bloody word he says....

Burley was saying yesterday (post match) in defense of his decision not to play Boyd, that Boyd needs to proof himself at Rangers. Boyd scores 75 goals at RFC in just over 2 and a half years, averaging around 30 goals per year, but he needs to proof himself??? Am I missing something here or is George Burley a moron? He is totally bloody useless. Ladies & Gentlemen..... I present to you.... George Burley.... TA DA !!!!!! Posh lady stands up & says... "George, please do the Scotland team & the nation as a whole a BIG favour & p*ss off back down the hole you crawled out of." Whole crowd stands up & says... "Aye, F*CK OFF !!! .....you TWAT !!!"

BTW, governments have orchestrated this segregation in society.... there's no doubt about that is there?

So what has he done JMS? Do you think we've been ripped off by SDM? Suit yourself mate. I only offered it up as an option for you since I know fine well what many RFC fans think of SDM. Mark

You can remove 'another' if it pleases you & stops me from having to explain myself again.

I came to support Rangers because my Grandfather on my Mother's side was a Rangers fan. It passed from him to my mum & onto my brother & I. My comments about sectarianism are based on several things, but to try to explain my train of thought better I'll explain what makes me cringe about it:- When I was 16 I started working part-time (weekends) for a guy that was a Catholic & a Celtic fan & he was a total & utter bigot. He called me all sorts of irrelevant bile that I should have just shrugged off, but there was something else. There was an underlying tone & posture to his attitudes in general that gave me the very distinct impression that he sincerely thought that not only he, but his whole religious faith & all it's followers were better than me. That put me off religion for life. It put me off bigots for life. It somehow made me realize that there's no way on this earth you could get me to follow a religion like he did. It also made me realize that somehow we need to change these things in our society, for ourselves & for our future generations because fighting with one another goes against everything that we're made of. I'm no hippie, but I don't want wars based on religious hatred, old fashioned/out of date thinking & general life concepts that deserve to be binned!!!! So, am I fan of religious hatred & sectarian bile? No, but if you rub something in my face that might make me hate you I'm sure it might rub off. It's sure as hell rubbed off on generation after generation of children & none of that applies solely to the Protestant - Catholic/Old Firm hatred of one-another, it applies to generations of misguided people for thousands of years. If you say so mate, but it's no skin off my nose & I've certainly got nothing to gain directly from my opinions (expressed or otherwise), which FWIW I'm quite able to form on my very own, thanks.
-
I hope he does, because there's plenty people that are sick to death of all the sectarian bile & old fashioned dirge. The old firm can only grow stronger without it in my eyes. Maybe it's time for some FOOTBALL ??? Thanks for all the AGM info btw Frankie. Mark

Same here, but you can be guaranteed that it wouldn't be any different no matter what SDM did. If he'd dropped another 20 mil of his own money into the 2007/2008 transfer budget & we'd actually WON the UEFA Cup Final, he'd still get slagged rotten. He just can't do any good can he? ... Welcome to the SDM hate club!! Man, he might have money, but I'm glad I'm not him. There can't be a more hated man in Scotland. Pedo's receive less abuse. Mark

I never ever buy it myself, but if I did it would probably just be for a swatch at a pair of breasts on page 3. My guess is that page 3 sells more copies of the Sun than any of their garbage journalism.

Same here. To me it seems a bit OTT in a sense because I tend to feel that the whole famine song issue has partially just been a big wind up, even although the fact that it's been done at all & the manner in which it's been done may indeed have some sinister overtones & implications. One thing I'm 100% certain of is that the wind up aspect of it has been a complete success for those who set the bait. They must be laughing up their mhanky sleeves to see so many on our side not only biting on it, but taking it so seriously. I'm certainly not advocating that we should be happy about being asked not to sing particular songs & I do think there should be a better balance throughout the Scottish game & media on these issues, but lets not give them too much to chuckle about by getting our knickers in too much of a twist. In this case, I'd rather we'd just said, fine, lets not sing it & privately said lets make sure we complain about their vitriol & likewise with what we here spewing from the mouths of other Scottish clubs' support. It could've been done with a little more dignity imo.

Had to come from the lavatory of journalism we all know as The Sun.

That's got to be worth a laugh. Hurry up then.

And yet WS is criticized for it? WTF?
-
I'd offer him 300 notes a week to make drinks, fetch protein bars etc. If he's not interested he could GTF for all I care. Biggest waste of money in the past few seasons.
-
We'll have to see how it pans out for them, but I can't see C****c doing too well for the coefficient this year either. Looks like it might just be rotten year for Scottish teams in Europe.
-
Have to agree with Craig on this. FWIW, I think WS has achieved a remarkable amount with the team. I read (&hear) people saying elsewhere that Scottish clubs 'can't & won't' win a European competition, but that's complete BS. If both sides of the old firm can make it into a European final within such a short space of time, we can certainly win one in the future. That's the sort of negativity we DON'T need.!!
-
Totally agree. It smells of a very poor attempt to clamber back some lost ground in their wee anti RFC campaign after the Nacho Novo address leak incident. Timmy from South Park could come up with better.
-
M'well were pretty dire tonight. They fought for 90, but dire defending cost them 2 early goals. The solid Nancy defense rendered Motherwell's attacking attempts impotent. A 0-2 result on the night didn't do Nancy much justice. To be fair it could easily have been 0-4/0-5. The better team won. Anyone else watch it?

He'll be gettin' padded jiffy bags full if skitters. :fish:

Gee Uz The Cup !!!
-
What about a new PC version of the famine song. It could include lines like 'The famine is over, but it's ok if you want to stay'.
-
WTF?
-
Dunno what it is, but i'm kinda diggin' that!!!!
