    Kevin Kyle

As we've seen from the opposition this season a lot of seasoned pros move down to the lower divisions to extend their careers. I didn't back his signing from day one, but I could at least see the logic to it. He was brought in as experienced cover. To be honest I've got more of a problem with Sandaza who we're unfortunately stuck with.
  2. It depends what the issues are. There are issues that could effect his job that would be better off not in the public domain. Especially if its pressures or financial issues based on other factors outwith the clubs control like for instance what league we're playing in next season. If it is dirty laundry though, why air it in public and why would you want that? Have you not had enough?
  3. They both are
  4. It's not all doom and gloom mate. I think we're heading in the right direction on the park, but I appreciate that's not a common opinion amongst the support. We need to strengthen the team - mainly in defence. Once that's done I'll feel a lot more comfortable. Again it's not the popular thing to say, but I believe McCoist is a good coach who's been handed an extremely unfortunate set of circumstances. I still have trust issues with Green. I don't particularly dislike him, but I do think he's got something about him that makes it difficult to take him at his word. I do still worry about the future of the club. After what's happened I think that's only natural. I do believe we can come back stronger though. Just so long as we stick together and there's no funny business going on.
  5. FWIW I don't either. He might not have known the extent of the damage done, but even the players knew something was up.
  6. 7 of them also took part in the U19's league cup. Seeing as you were interested, QP finished 4th in the reserve league.
  7. 5 of the 14 sides in the reserve league (including QP) also took part in the U19's league.
  8. It's not Tommy Wilson's fault the SPL ditched their reserve league.
  9. ...playing with a young side against grown men since a lot of those squads have a full compliment of players and their youths were playing in the U19s league.
  10. It could be that simple and if it is I'd hope Mr Green or Traynor would be having a word to ask him to phrase those type of comments better all things considered.
  11. How long were LBG in charge before Walter confirmed it? How long do you think it would have taken Ally to tell us Craig Whyte was no good IF we'd qualified for Europe AND Whyte had somehow avoided admin? Some things are covered by contractual non-disclosure agreements. Others are just better left unsaid.
  12. Yes there is. The one that we just won - http://www.scottishfootballleague.com/football/reserve/reserve-league/ The youths play in the youth league - http://www.scottishfootballleague.com/football/youth/under19/ ...or at least they would do if we hadn't opted out of the youth league for ours this season.
  13. I think this thread so far suggests that we'd want to see all of them start at the bottom, but at least we've got good reason.
  14. It's not as if we're the only club which has problems with it's players using social media. We just don't have the best of records for keeping our own fans on side as a result of it.
  15. It would probably be the same for Hibs, Dundee Utd and Aberdeen. The bigots would be out in force again if it was Hearts though.
  16. What if Div2 is the bottom tier next season though? What about the current Div2 clubs we'd be leapfrogging to take a place in the championship? Would it be OK if they said it was for 'Sporting Merit' like they did with Fiorentina? I'm with you on England btw and have been since day one. It might never happen though.
  17. Never gets old that one :fish:
  18. It's got nothing to do with Ally's management of the team. It was in response to a comment about dropping attendances which you'll see I quoted. We did lose cash under Murray and a lot of it at times. Mainly that was through overspending on transfers and wages. Speculating to accumulate. Something that was brought under control both times that Murray stepped down as chairman and those running the show in his place posted profits despite a hefty wage bill and crippling debt repayments.
  19. Since the CW takeover, throughout administration and to this day the club has mysteriously been leaking £millions. We've been promised a turnaround and are currently debt free, but we're still running at a loss and to me at least the numbers just don't add up. That's what I mean.
  20. Even the handling of an administration event will be interesting. Even with a successful CVA will they be forced to pay all footballing debts? Doncaster kept saying there was no difference between Newco and CVA so would their SPL share still be at risk either way?
  21. Reserve side = Full time 1st team squad players who need a game. Includes a selection of youth players who have been or may be promoted. Youth side = Players of an age to compete in youth level competition. Mostly part-time.
  22. I'm sure you won't.
  23. Well at least an attendance drop would give them a convenient excuse for the disappearing £millions.
  24. The big questions (so far) are: 1) Would they have to start from the bottom or would the rules be changed again to suit agendas? 1b) Will the opposition supporters be invited to blackmail the clubs to vote against? 2) Would the PFA actively work against the club through the media to pry their players away? 3) Would there be a frenzied media witchhunt to see the club punished instead of the real culprits? 4) Would they be hit with an illegal transfer embargo? 5) Would they be frozen out without a vote while the goalposts are shifted under the guise of 'reconstruction' mid-season?
