In the recent el classico , messi walked or jogged for 93%of the game , our understanding of fitness and what specific positions require is squewed. I used to be really friendly with John Spencer , when Gullit arrived at Chelsea the first thing he did was take John aside and tell him to stop running around like a mad man , he was to train for 5 yards sprints at the most , and this was 20 years ago. Football in Scotland is prehistoric , we demand players give 100% but the majority have no understanding of how the modern game is played , its no wonder we are continually humiliated in europe .

£200,000 a year players should still be mire than good enough to beat £50_60 ,000 a year players though -
Imho there is no way the board would have allowed Mark Allen a platform at GM,s presser if things had fallen apart behind the scenes , if they lose him or he walks they are as well to shut the lights off on their running of the club

After defending Craig shite no thank you , i know its his job but still.

That interview is called getting your story out first , or in other words , it wasnt my fault honest . This only proves how ineffectual our board actually are , that after 8 weeks the best they can do is throw the U20 manager under the bus . The sooner King , murray et all leave the better , we are going absolutely no where with them and they have learned nothing from the past .
-
The simple fact is that the way club1872 was devised was always going to cause major issues , the club1872 board have no autonomy to negotiate or really discuss anything without asking the members first . However if we dont as a group value ourselves how can we expect the club board to take us seriously .

We are the 2nd largest shareholder , hows that insignificant

I am going offline as I simply cannot handle the dithering any longer , fingers crossed when I log back on its a positive message that greets me .:crest

We have absolutely thrown this league away , all down to home form .
-
If we go back wards we will only get worse , we need to look to the future not the past , if these ex Rangers are so so good why are they unemployed
-
I never said the worst i said the most under whelming .
-
But when he has played , i feel he has been poor , its only an opinion lol
-
A massive unexpected bonus will be Millers injury .
-
I thought he was injured by a terrible tackle from behind v Killie
-
He should do , Barjonas is only 18 , like I said I'm just underwhelmed , I expected so much more , I don't see any drive in the guy at all , but that might just be me .
-
Sorry but I think he's been awful , don't think we have missed him 1 bit , the most under whelming transfer of the summer for me .

How we won that i will never know but absolutely over the moon , a typical Wattie performance , hibs were excellent which makes it all the sweeter . Oh and i had 2_1 with Josh fgs lolololol -
I know a few of the St Mirren first team and they talk about his time as manager , the guys a dinosaur , as for his backing of big Eck , that's down to one simp,e thing , gee,s a job Eck
-
Ashley still involved ,why on earth would he want to get back into our shit storm , cannot see it .
-
We cannot continually keep going back to when they took over , we are 2 managers and millions of pounds wasted , and the best they can come up with is petulant statements that the majority of our support find embarrassing . Do they get a free pass because they are Rangers men , we cannot forget what weve been through and this lot are showing exactly the same traits as the previous lot .

I see the leaking of stories has begun to lay the blame at DM,s door , when in reality its 100% at the themselves where the blame lies .When a future manager cannot get basic answers to basic questions , its a very worrying thing . And i was and am not a DM fan .We ar e going no where under this board .
-
To be honest whilst I agree with your point , he desperately needed a break. You could almost see the confidence drain out of him the last few games he played , plus Miller NEEDS dropped .
-
We simply cannot break down teams that sit in with 2 banks of 4 or 5 , we have no craft from midfield and no runners willing to get past the forward , it would help if Miller was dropped from midfield and we played with a 2 up top . We need to press with a far greater intensity than we are currently doing , its ok doing it against Aberdeen , they set the standard but keep dropping it against lower teams.
