  1. You could have written the reactions to this game before we played , if we had won we would be the best thing ever , we lose we are shite , the worst team ever to play football , the reality is we didn't do enough in the last third .We were beaten by a set piece , it happens we need o move on , however the over reaction online is as it usually is way way way over the top. I thought the manager was spot on in his post match interview , January will be very very interesting .
  2. It just shows how far we have come and how our expectations have risen that we are disappointed with tonight's draw/result . This mob spent a fortune in the summer , are a champions league team usually , we didn't look out of place at all. Yes I am disappointed , especially as I had 2 coupons riding on a home win , however , at the start of this many many fans were happy just to be in Europe and wanted it over ASAP so as to concentrate on the league , oh how opinions change so so quickly ..
  3. Haven't really contributed much to this thread or even read through it , but for what it's worth until we get rid of these pitches we are just going to have to put up with the lottery we watched yesterday , players from both teams slipping and misjudging the ball , Pulling out of tackles and not even making runs you see every week on grass , plus there were at least 5 occasions when through balls actually checked and spun backwards because of the surface. I am not going to be too hard on any team that plays on them , maybe we should just adopt livingstons way and play route one football on them.
  4. Superb achievement elf , love reading your blog . We question , how good is Robbie Ure , does he have a chance
  5. I'm afraid I no longer care what they do, I fell so much disappointment in them this year ,I was 100% behind fan ownership , but after watching from close , how we the fans have been decieved and lied to I'm out .
  6. Brilliant result , outstanding first half and totally understood the drop in 2 nd half , great week ,oh and what pish did I talk about that midfield 3 not working lol .
  7. Absolutely fantastic first half from Rangers , against a very decent Hearts team . Only problem is the refereeing yet again .
  8. I second GS,s opinion of him .
  9. Yeah I get your point , but in the first half the 3 were basically in a line again across the pitch , no one was breaking ahead , and again like Livingston we were just moving from side to side with no penetration , personally I prefer when we play 4-2-3-1 , then 1 of the 2 can beak forward and we can play more of a diamond . However , I'm just a fan , and I'm more than happy with where we are going , I just get frustrated when we make things tough on ourselves . They were not a good team no matter what anyone says .
  10. Frankie , apart from his Morelos nonsense , I can't disagree with much of what he said written , it's only an opinion , but I thought we were rank rotten in the first half , our first shot on goal was when we scored , that midfield 3 simply gives me the fear , it doesn't work , we play far to often Lat and don't get in betweenness position lines . 2 nd half was totally different and the ending as I said earlier left me hoarse. , a proper Ibrox European night , but we need to improve in midfield , again any money we have for transfers in January need to go to a proper centre mid .
  11. Right just in and loved the atmosphere , I was almost hoarse at the end , and thoroughly deserved 3 points , however , we were awful in the first half against a very poor team . IMHO out midfield 3 doesn't work , we badly miss Ryan Jack and the sooner he returns the better , Coulabaly looks much more comfortable in a 2 beside him . I still hope that come January what ever money we have is used on a creative midfielder that can play between the lines , we desperately need one .
  12. We are just going to have to hang into this league until we get knocked out of Europe , the January transfer market will be crucial . However if Hearts continue to win then it's out of everyone's hands ,it's been a crazy season so far , they are the only team showing any form at all .
  13. Defensively Livingston are the best team in the league for attempts against them , you can play all the pretty football you like but it doesn't matter if you don't make chances .
  14. This season has turned into a mirro image of last season , great at home , poor away .
  15. If we get anything from this today it will be miracle .
  16. Don't think we have an outfield player with pass marks today .
  17. Any possible 50/50 decisions have just went out the window ,what a moron throwing something at the linesman .
  18. This pitch is designed for route 1 football end off .
  19. Our midfield are all over the place here, wanting too much time on the ball
  20. Great goal from their point of view , terrible from us , in this game we need to win the battle first then silky soccer .
  21. It's very easy to see why Livimgston have the results they have , a well organised team ,on a horrendous pitch .

    Semi Final

There are so many things that could go wrong with this , weather , the state of the pitch , extra time and possibly penalties , fans safety , travel , its absolute madness , we are only in October its not like we are at seasons end.
  23. https://rangers.co.uk/news/academy-news/academy-announces-fixtures/ Fantastic article on the thinking at the academy , the detail they go into regards formation and even getting the players used to playing 2 legged games with away goals counting shows the thought and future planning of the academy staff .
