As a Rangers supporter of colour , who has been attending Ibrox since I was 14 , I can honestly say that I have never experienced or felt threatened or been racially abused due to my skin colour . I have though heard plenty of derogatory terms being used at opposing players , mainly in the 80,s and early 90,s , now it is so rare that if it did happen I would remember . In all the times attending games , and I was a season ticket holder from 86 until approx 2003 the only time I can remember seeing anything remotely racist was a 2 game period when the NF had a type of stall set up on the Copland road , but again this was a blip and they were never seen again . The whole BLM debate gets confusing because to every single person it means something different , the aims of the BLM movement are not what players and normal people are protesting about , it really is a sad indictment of society in 2020 when basic human decency has be be protested for .

Why because it fits your argument , the stars show we don’t lose more goals than them , the stats also show he’s way above on goals on assists , the problem lies in our goals from other areas . We need players that ship in with 12-15 goals a season every season , we simply don’t have enough and cannot rely on 1 player . Tav is a modern full back that pulls his weight with goals and assists , his numbers show that , he is right up there . we did not lose the league because of goals lost , we lost the league because we simply cannot compete with Celtic with goals from midfield , they completely out gun us season after season , it’s not rocket science , and to come back to the same guy time after time is just boring and pedantic . We need to have a team that can score from all over the park , we rely on Alfie , when he stopped producing after Xmas , season over , end off .

No matter who we sign , they need to be of a standard that can make a difference to a game , we can fill the squad with the older academy players , they should be of a standard that they can fill the 12-16 places , but we need a strong hardcore of players , a top 18 if you like .

Just a small point on this request that the SPFL and SFA have supposedly sent regards postponing the transfer window opening in Scotland . I believe there are numerous clubs who have released players and simply don’t have enough to start the league , what happens to them , can they only sign frees .

One last point , but I think it’s very significant , the stadiums and clubs that Tom mentions that they have been to , Barca , Real , Milan , Liverpool and Man Utd to name some , when he talks about their club shops , what he doesn’t mention is the sheer footprint of these things , Real’s is 3 floors and every floor is massive . The footprint of the “megastore “ at Ibrox is tiny , and unless they are thinking about moving to where Edinston house is , I just don’t see how we capitalise on the demand that’s about to hit them .

If we can get in with a brand at the start of their journey and through a partnership benefit both us and Castile , what’s not to like and benefit from , seriously this could be the beginning of something great , the constant drivel and negativity from some with in our support is pathetic , no one makes you buy anything .
