The reaction today is more to do with the ridiculous amount of players they have brought in ,I have never known anything like this ever , christ even Hearts never brought in as many players and got rid of as many .

It's a funny old world, there you are hoping and praying at the start of the transfer window that by midnight tonight we would still have a squad to finish the season , would MacGregor be gone , Boughie whisked away , Boyd given away , Davies sold to Birmingham , but all that happened was Mendes was sold much to his own agreement if we believe what Wattie says and that we could cope but that if possible we would try and get some players in . Meanwhile across the city big Mowbary is hoovering up player after player like there is no tomorrow but where will they all play , what formation will the big heid set them out in , and will they all knit together , given that we only have 15 games left , remember we had Bellamy going to celtic and they didn't win the league , I could be wrong but I forsee a major fall coming , as this is one huge gamble given the signing on fee's and loan fees they will have had to pay out , though I accept they brought decent money in for macDonald etc , an interesting few weeks ahead .

If we lose this league due to lack of players , certain people at the club should be hung by their baws , to lose a 7 point lead with only 15 games left would be criminal , however our big hope is that this rag tag bunch Mowbary has brought in from playersupermarket.com will take time to gel , and whilst they will be a threat upfront they still look very weak at the back , also they can only play 11 at any time , there will be a lot of unhappy players

Pete , I take it there wasn't anything positive then

I got this via Broadfoot , not directly I hasten to add , but since he went to the SFA all he has done is put out fires , all is not well on a number of fronts , interesting times at Hampden

Dont ask him questions , he doesn't like questions , it means he might have to answer them , then again why change the habit of a lifetime . He is the only Rangers "fan" I know who is positively basking in this mess

Let's all just wait till monday night , to be honest I am amazed we can bring anyone in whether on a loan or a lengthy contract , whatever this must be the right player and it's no use " one for the future" types

I feel very sad at this news though I also accept the need for a personal life , David Edgar irrespective of what positon he holds at the RST always spoke with the best intentions of the club and the supporters , when ever we were under attack by "our media friends" and our senior management had managed to slink into the background again , David Edar was always there to rally the troops whether good or bad , we were not alone , no matter the circumstance I always felt my view was being heard. I will always be thankful that we had a David Edgar who was willing to stand and be heard when so many sat on their hands

If I remember rightly we had a mid week match against a team from a lower division in one of the cups , the back up keeper at the time who had spent months on the bench was Lindsay Hamilton , he was told he was playing and had all his family at the match only for Rangers to fly Ginzberg in that afternoon and not only sign him but play in the game , I actually felt really sorry for Hamilton

Welcome lads , one thing you will find on here is that your point of view will be respected , though if controversial will also be challenged so be prepared to back it up , enjoy

Mendes - UPDATE: Will join Sporting over next 48 hours
rbr replied to Jim White's topic in Rangers Chat
I am also heartened by the fact that Walter admitted at long last that Steve Davies was getting messed about out wide right , and that this was the area they were going to have a look at , about time too -
Cheers Frankie , cant find much on him , to be honest I was hoping for an experienced wide player Also was their a fee involved for this young guy

My only problem is that as usual it gets done right at the end of the window , now we will either do nothing or else it will be a last minute rush with the prospect of another Rothen type loan signing . I really hope I am wrong as getting the right player in could really push us on , what chances an attacking wide player PLEASE -
If this is the standard of Ref we can expect at the world cup then god help us , he's useless

Do green seats mean green shoots for OF financial equilibrium?
rbr replied to calscot's topic in Rangers Chat
Do these shares not also hold a guarenteed redemption figure as well , ie they can never be sold for less than the buying price . I am sure that was one of the great selling points when the likes of Martin O'Squeal and Eddie Jordan were buying them -

I have to say the quality of some of the articles wriiten by members on here is really quite outstanding , a well deserved pat on the back me thinks , well done and keep it up . -
Just about sums up our decade , how we have managed to win trophies with some of the really poor players that we brought in is beyond me at times

Fleck refusing contract a misunderstanding apparently...
rbr replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
I happen to agree that this was a watershed result , also that there is no way Smith intentionally wanted us out of Europe , however this result put a shot across Murray and low and behold 3 players arrived albeit too late for Europe but not for the league , you cant have it both ways -

YES it's all Walter's fault , that's why he has no contract and none of his management team have a contract , it's his fault that 6 players are out of contract at the end of the season with very little movement by the board ( cause they aren't allowed ) , it's walter's fault we haven't bought a player in 3 transfer windows , yes nothing to see here move along back to puttin your heads in the sand and gloating over our demise like good wee lackies . PATHETIC
