  1. If we told you we would need to kill you , sorry :box:
  2. That's what happens when you have friends in high places , he doesn't know what he has let himself in for , now I want a fair fight no gouging or kicking:whistle:
  3. Exactly , also we start around the 24th of this month I believe , this coming season could prove absolutely crucial to our next stage of success , they have a rookie manager irrespective that it's the Lurgan Bigot in charge . He will by default make mistakes , some born by arrogance some by anger some by sheer inexperience , it is imperitive we have a squad motivated and more important a squad capable of taking the battle to them because that is what next year will be a battle. On all fronts for as sure as night follows day , Lawell will have his attack dogs primed and ready , every dirty trick and stunt will be pulled. Are we Ready , aye right
  4. But we are different , we only have 15 players mate , and that includes some we all expect to leave , though I accept we have some kids to bulk the numbers up
  5. That's correct , however France is probably the biggest threat to that bet
  6. What ever happens I only hope this whole sad episode is done before the summer gets too much further on , player recruitment is an absolute necessity
  7. top african team ,Cameroon 7/2 , top European team Spain 11/5 , top Asian team Australia 6/4 , South American Brazil 10/11 and North American team , USA 10/11 again permed 31 bets
  8. Right guys anyone interested in handing over their well kept secret money making world cup bets . On the match's I tend to stick to singles , doubles and trebles , however with the world cup there is scope for a wee flutter . so ,to qualify from their groups ,Portugal ,Chile ,Paraguay ,Cameroon,Serbia , Usa ,Nigeria and South Africa ,goliath bet , 247 at 10p pays over £470 if all come in . I only need 4 to get a small profit . To win groups , Italy , France ,Brazil ,Argentina ,Germany ,Holland ,Spain and England , again £24.70 pays over £170
  9. I never thought I would ever say tis , but the closer this thing gets to completion/never ending saga , the more detatched and actually uninterested I get . It seems that people on all forums are getting to the same point . Mind you some will definetly miss it more as they will have nothing left to waffle on about once we get back to the football . A wee thing Frankie , what about a World cup betting thread , just to see if anyone has come up with a nice bet that is worth a punt . I'll start , to qualify from their group , Portugal , Chile , Paraguay ,Cameroon , Serbia ,USA , Nigeria and South Africa , a Goliath of 247 ,10p bets costs £24.70 pays £472.28 if the eight make it
  10. If anyone had posted that story by Tom English on here as their own they would have been laughed or rather slaughtered day , a gripping headline , followed by waffle , followed by an unconnected story about King , followed by an unsubstantive statement..is Tom English ,wabash by any chance.....
  11. You obviously haven't been reading his attempts at threads on FF comic genius , the guy should be on the stage ......sweeping it
  12. In a true 4-3-3 how can you have 2 holding midfielders , take England as an example Barry holds and Gerrard and Lampard push on , if you have two holding you end up with a 4-2-3-1 which is totally different
  13. Word has it that Lafferty has been given the nod that he will be given the No9 shirt next year , make of that what you will
  14. I would love us to actually have a plan , seriously , the thought that for once we were able to plan and get our targets actually by reason and design really get's me going , time will tell .

Dont go there please .......... but I suppose the general pretext is the same , we may even look back and say Murray was the greatest owner we never had in a way
  16. HAHA , depends on what you mean , the thread or " Lafferty's Law " , unfortunately the "Lafferty's Law " bit is now an accepted term after today's unauthered story in our beloved NOTW , they even have a Ref giving direct quotes
  17. It was definetly nasty ,I dont disagree , however you see it all the time , especially by forwards . You are talking about tenths of seconds here , if you compare it to some of the tackles on Rangers players we witnessed where we were told " it's a man's game just get on with it " or words to that effect , this whole thing is because it is Lafferty and he is a marked man , even though I think he is pretty useless ,he's still a marked man (press that is )

Hindsight is a wonderful thing , compare and contrast , Lyon ,a club with no where near our history , however a club with an owner who is comparible in wealth to our own , a club with no where near our support before they reorganised and rebuilt ,a club who's owner is involved in every decision that affects the team so much so that every player they buy must add value to the squad , and players they believe are expendibale are allowed to leave no matter the short term pain, Juninho anyone. PLG was head coach but had no direct input into player selection ,and that as they say is that , yes hindsight is a wonderful thing but to have an owner with foresight is a very very fortunate thing , and something we may never have

I know the old Doc very very well , trust me his english was good enough

Zappa , PLG was arrogant , he never watched the shambles of a team he was inheriting , he bought very poorly , his training methods were redundant , and his overall demenour was of someone with no plan . Remember at LYON he was only the head coach he had no say in player recruitment and basically he was not strong enough , the fault was everyone believed the myth without looking at how Lyon were set up , just look at how his career has continued in a downward spiral. I am afraid Maineflyer is correct just another in a long line of poor Murray decisions , and also his english was quite good at the start but got worse funnily as the season went by , strange that .

Lets not kid ourselves on , this upcoming C/L episode is only about the money , in fact just watch the crowds if they get it wrong price wise again , nothing worse than getting a skelping in a half full Ibrox
  22. We did the same thing rushing Thomson back before he was ready and look what happened to him last year , only time will tell , at least we will be getting players in , and to be honest I am not too bothered about the players that have left , if Boyd didn't want the money we offered then that's his choice and for £400,000 he diesn't owe us anything , Novo ,Smith and even Broadfoot were all squad fillers anyway , though wee Nacho scored more than his fair share of IMPORTANT goals in his time
  23. AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH cheers mucker
  24. I have to agree , I was surprised we allowed him to leave , mind you that wasn't entirely down to football only decisions
  25. Laffetrty's was a tackle you see just about every game , but it is only highlighted because it was against them , it is pathetic but very very predictable especially they way we are protrayed in the press . Put it this way , the next time there is a clampdown on diving , will it be " McGeady's" law , dont hold your breath.
