  1. Ok so we have blinked first , need to get reinforcements for midfield , Gerrard can’t be clearer in sharp he needs .
  2. Next 4 games are massive , it’s the old adage “ make or break the season “ , also if you look at our bench today it shows how stretched the midfield is , only Barjonas available .
  3. Can’t believe some are talking about the last round , this Willem 11 are quality .
  4. Just want us through this tie , no injuries , on to Sunday then Thursday .
  5. We need to stop being so sensitive regards social media posts by non players .
  6. It’s actually been very funny listening to the usual useful idiots trying to argue their points despite doing a 180degree on this tackle compared to their reaction to Ryan Jacks .Funny but quite sad at the same time .
  7. To be honest ever signing is a gamble at our level , however I think our batting average under Gerrard is very decent .
  8. I actually said pre match to Brahimhemdani , yes he is still alive , well and pedantic as ever , that I coudnt see Arfield contributing much this year , how wrong was I , superb when he came on , a bit like the Scott Arfield of 2 years ago as Alexscottlegend said above .
  9. very very good team performance , some lovely goals , great interplay and apart from a sloppy 5 minutes we simply don't look like losing goals . The Utd player must surely be up infront of the disciplinary for that shocker on Alfie , best decision Clancy made all day was not booking him , if he had he would have got off with a yellow .

I really really like this , though its going to be marmite to our support
  11. I honestly believe you need to give Castore a bit of a break on some of the issues , we are in the midst of a global pandemic , they had little time from getting the deal in place to actually delivering the stock , mainly due to the issues we are all aware of . If however these issues repeat themselves next year , then as they say “ Houston we have a problem “.
  12. Adidas like Nike tend not to take 2 teams if they are in the same city , very rarely happens , plus the money involved means this is actually a better structured deal for Rangers .
  13. Ive taken this from FF from someone at the meeting . The guys user name is Budd sidewinder just incase anyone knows him and to give him credit for a very good summary . I was at the meeting tonight and I am just home. The meeting was attended by James Bisgrove, Marketing and Commercial Director, Natalie Nairn from the Marketing Team, Greg Marshall SLO and Andy Cole, Head of Partnerships from Castore. There were 10 supporters there all with a variety of positive and negative experiences and everyone was given the opportunity for an open and frank discussion. No one from the club briefed us beforehand on what we could and couldnt say and all questions were open on the table to anyone attending. We went around the room giving different accounts of what has happened both in a positive and negative light, and Andy from Castore answered every question.Andy was very open and frank about some of the mistakes they have made and did not shy away from them. The two main issues related to quality control and also the School Jumpers issue. Customer service was a key element of the discussion and they way that they handled issues found with some of the products and what they have learned from this. One gentleman who had a faulty kit was offered to keep the faulty kit and a 25% discount of the purchase of another one from the store, and Andy proclaimed that this absolutely should not have happened. He rightly confirmed this is not the level of customer service that is expected and they have ensure that will never happen again. Any issues whether bought online or instore can be swapped for another in store immediately or arranged online or a refund offered if required. They did acknowledge that there were quality control issues on some of the kit and they confirmed over 100,000 sales with a 3% return figure. The majority of these were actually related to sizing issues with an alternative size replacing the kit instead of an actual fault. They have seen and reviewed the faults that have been reported and have confirmed they now have in place 100% quality control checks at each of the production lines going forward. While they predicted there would be a significant response from the supporters, they didnt estimate quite how much it would explode and they admit that they were caught out by it on occasion. They have recruited a 400% increase in customer service staff to respond to fans and as of tonight they are now responding to emails sent yesterday so have caught up on the backlog. The School Jumpers issue is something they deeply regret and was a product they didnt oversee the manufacture of but outsourced. Once the quality issues were reported they were immediately withdrawn from sale. All unsold product has been donated to charity, everyone who bought one were fully refunded and were offered to keep it if they required. Despite the media reports and furore there were only 20 of this item actually sold and all have been refunded.Castore are submitting design ideas to Rangers tomorrow for the 150th anniversary kits and planning to prepare for this begins now to make sure they are ready for it. There will be three kits and discussions on colours and fabrics etc are ongoing. Rangers are keen to bring something completely new to the table that we havent seen before, weighing on previous fans favourite kits from the past. Things are at an early stage but it has started already.Castore were at advanced stages on opening Rangers stores elsewhere including a Glasgow City Centre store, and Edinburgh store, a store up north and are trying there best to find a suitable Belfast location (which they admitted is causing them a few issues due to COVID).There will be a new line of products out in time for christmas which will be more affordable including t -shirts and rubber ducks (seemingly they have been inundated with requests), pens, and James mentioned they are in discussions with golf manufacturers and whisky brands to name but a few.Discussions continued after Castore left the meeting and James assured us that they are holding them to task on the issues. However, the launch three kits and training line in three months in a pandemic and to have over 95% of supporters happy with their kits is encouraging. They have confirmed that this will happen again in 12 months time to ensure the same issues are not being repeated going forward and how key it is for the 150th that they get this right.Stock levels are back up again in both the store and online and they continue to work hard to backfill these.Edminston House plans are continuing at pace and the club are very excited about what this will bring for the match day experience including generating revenue for the club.Brands are recognising Rangers again in high esteem and on the back of the recent number of sponsors coming in to the club there are a few more still to come and we are looking at selling out our full marketing opportunities for the club this year.Plans to expand the stadium have been discussed and early surveys have been done about lowering the pitch, however this has brought further challenges. It's something on the table though as there is demand. On the whole it was a positive experience. Castore didnt get away lightly with the issues seen, but also it was refreshing to see that while individual cases have caused people issues, they have faced unprecedented demand, logistics issues around COVID and this being there first experience with such a huge demand. They seemed genuinely apologetic for the issues some folks have seen but are keen for everyone to ensure they have learned from individual issues and are keen to make it right. They stressed many times that they are not trying to fleece anyone or take advantage of our loyal fan base and hope that they can iron out the initial three month issues going forward.
  14. Not really , both are very valid points , club1872 came about because of the success of RF , certain people namely James Blair wanted to control it , he got his way with the help of certain people within RF , those are not up for argument they happened . Club1872 was meant to be an independent fans members led group that were totally independent of the club and to hold the board to account , again this quickly changed once certain people were elected , they became very close to the club and did as the club wanted , remember buying shares from a certain person without asking members , frequent meeting which were in the initial proposals never materialised , communication is next to never , I couldn’t tell you the last time I was contacted on anything , I couldn’t tell you the last time there was a meeting . i attended every meeting and fell out with plenty over their handling of issues , the entire elections the last few times were an absolute farce , with the club supporting certain people over others , the very fact guys like Iain Leiper aka D’ artagnan couldn’t stay on the board should tell you everything , his reputation is above reproach . The fact that they are now getting totally ignored because it doesn’t suit the club tells you everything about the way they are viewed and the fact that the current club1872 board see their own positions over the best interests of club1872 members again tells you everything . I was the biggest supporter of fans getting involved , to my shame I even started the request for gersnet to have a lifetime membership of RF , which I totally regret now as it’s totally wasted . Fans simply cannot get the shareholding required and at clubs such as ours , the wrong people get elected time after time , it’s so sad but not unexpected .
  15. Over 400 fans applied to go to this , 10 were chosen , club1872 weren’t included , tells you everything .
  16. And being totally ignored , like always .
  17. its not concerning at all , Club 1872 have proved time after time to be nothing more than useful idiots for the club and King especially , now they aren't needed , infact they haven't been needed for quite some time , its not really rocket science. Those of us that have attended meetings and seen how James Blair conducted the whole fiasco have seen this coming for years , this is why I have nothing to do with them now , the fact the membership hasn't grown says it all .
  18. Kent was sensational , but the good thing is that we have a core group of players turning in 8 out of 10 performances week after week , livi was the only slip up .
  19. Good result , never threatened , we just need to keep this run going and see what the pressure does to the other mob .
  20. If your about to punt him for £20 million plus , you don’t risk him , no striker or not imho
  21. Only Colum could claim Roofe pushed someone , when he had no one in front of him , amazing ?
  22. As an aside , I honestly think the fact Alfie is on the bench kills the Lillie transfer rumour pretty much stone dead .
  23. Great point Frankie , people forget it’s just as important for players not on the ball to create space for those with the ball .
  24. I am liking the way we are switching play up , between trying to play through them , to the long diagonal , Hamilton don’t know whether to switch or stick .
