We have plenty of players that play wide but want to cut inside , that's our main problem everything get's squeezed and there is no space , we desperately need an out and out wide player
-
Can we not just lock this thread .......until....forever ... never has one player used up so much megabits in the history of internetland ever, we really are a desperate bunch
-
To be brutally honest I hate seeing players do this " I aint playing" routine , it could easily happen to us and lets face it they have a c/l tie against a team they have already beaten and who have no manager in what could be worth millions . If we had gotten all this rubbish sorted out weeks ago , instead of waiting until the last minute as usual then here would have been no problem

And also directly contradicts what Dr Death stated when talking about their annual figures
-
Andy walker claimed on Clyde tonight that not only are Mowbary and Co still getting paid , they are also getting win Bonuses , :flipa:

But as always there is no Plan B

I hate it when this happens , that's why you should always copy and paste , I hate spelling players names wrong

Poster on VB who was first about Wilson has been told Hodgson wants Davies to compete with Poulson for the center mid slots , this is dependant on Mascharano joining Inter , and he is trying to force his way out .The fee they have been told is £4.5 plus £1.75 million add on , should be decided by the weekend .(Mascharano that is) Dont want him to go but wouldn't surprise me in the least

I will see your tribal football and raise you a bbc... Page last updated at 16:36 GMT, Monday, 16 August 2010 17:36 UK Rangers fail in bid for Rapid striker Nikica Jelavic News conference - Rangers manager Walter Smith Rangers have failed in their bid to sign Rapid Vienna striker Nikica Jelavic after talks ended. Chief executive Martin Bain met Rapid last week to sign the Croatian international, but no deal was reached. Sporting director Alfred Hortnagl told BBC Scotland: "He will be staying with Rapid Vienna ahead of our two important Europa League ties against Aston Villa. "We do not have time to bring in a new player before the matches, so Jelavic won't be leaving the club." The 24-year-old Bosnian-born player was viewed as a replacement for Kris Boyd, whom Rangers sold to Middlesbrough. Last season Jelavic scored 21 times, including three goals against Celtic in the Europa League. Rapid face English Premier League side Aston Villa on Thursday in the play-off round for this season's tournament. The ties are scheduled for 19 and 26 August, which would have left the Austrian side only a few days before the transfer window closes to seek a replacement striker. Jelavic has been with Rapid Vienna for two seasons, having joined them from Belgian club Zulte Waregem. .

Last year they recieved just over £2million euros for failing against Arsenal , this year that is $130,000 euros because it was around earlier , all their transfers will not be included , and though you are correct about wee aidsridden's transfer fee they lose much more % wise as their ground holds more fans . The ticket money they get this season for the Europa league will be the same or simillar as last year and their squad has been swollen by quite a bit as they have a hugh squad .

Everyone knows about this figure mate but I have never seen it in print anywhere , dont know if it's another urban myth .

Interesting to see if they have finally paid Mowbary off in full or are still paying him

Taken from RM . Today insiders from the corridors of power of Ibrox have "laughed off" and quashed Sunday reports that Andrew Ellis and Chris Ackers' bid for Rangers was back on with a bankroll provided by Russians Vladimir Antonov and Roman Dubov. But is that the end of the story? Why is Ellis' company still linked to the club on the Takeover Panel? Reports in an exclusive story by the News of the World's Graham McKendry linked the two Russian corporate banking players to being the men that would solve Andrew Ellis' problems of sourcing the finance to buy out Sir David Murray. Despite McHendry principally writing for the News of the World on crime, he has written previously on Hearts owner Romanov's bank being investigated, the divorice proceedings of Celtic director Chris Trainor and on Allan McGregor's quashed police woes. So there is certainly previous with McHendry and it seems that he must have some insider connections that he might have gained when investigating the Romanov story considering that Antonov also has banking interests in Lithuania. One wonders if he has just listened to whispers from the wrong person, or whether there is indeed a gathering tide of another bid being put together by Ellis and Ackers. The English duo have not spoken out since their bid for the club was rebuffed by Murray in June when a statement was released from his company indicating that they were no longer actively marketing their controlling interest in the club. Something that is of course very different to a statement saying that the club is not for sale, as announcing such would have meant that the club would not be able to be sold for a specified period of time. The language used in such an announcement by a company is very important. Of course Rangers Football Club is still up for sale, if the right man or men came in for the club, with the right offer then Murray would happily sell on the club as he knows that he can't and won't take the club any further than where it currently stands, irrespective of how you may view the clubs current situation. One thing does still flicker in the back of the head though regarding the Ellis deal, the Englishmen's company, RFC Holdings Ltd is still linked to an impending takeover on the Takeover Panel, even today. Is this an merely an oversight? Is it normal for a company to be quoted on the panel this long after an offer has been rejected? It will take some of the more business minded Rangers fans out there to answer that question. One thing is for sure, Andrew Ellis' name is not going away. We can but ponder for how much longer we will have to look at those same few pictures of him that are available. Unless of course he pulls his head above the precipice and gives an interview to someone in the media. Perhaps the telling thing is that if he didn't still harbour aspirations of buying the club then he would have done so already? Until then we're left with conjecture and whisper.

I have watched Lafferty play up front on his own for NI and there is no doubt he can play that way , he single handedly destroyed a very good polish team , just because we play several players out of position doesn't make them bad players , but it doesn't help .

This is one of the main reasons I have stopped going on ££ and RM , even though I have been guilty in the past of posting stuff at least I have known who gave me it and trusted them enough to believe it ( some of it very wrong as it turned out ) . These sites are nothing more than a waste of space now , possibly a bit harsh on RM but if you have a counter opinion on there they attack you like a pack of wild dogs such is the clique's. Stick to decent discussion on here mate and ignore the rest , it's much better for your general well being and you learn so much more through decent debate , with the exception of wabash when he's in one of his moods ....

He certainly wasn't pushed out any door , there was a contract waiting to be signed , because it wasn't what he was looking for is a different matter , just the same as Boyd , dont let the fact that we are financially rooked blinker your view that these guys were offered fortunes to stay , the fact they went to the championship say's it all really , money over ambition and glory and they took money . '
-
He is usually very good with regards to transfers , lets face it we are desperate to sign him , no one else has shown any serious interest and Rapid are a club that need to sell every year , we will probably have to wait a few more days and suffer some more humiliating headlines before it reaches it's inevitable conclusion , which is...............................anyone's guess
-
I cannot wait for Wabash to get his teeth into this , I am by nature the biggest optimist when it comes to any takeover that get's rid of Murray , but even I think this is utter rubish

Good news , initial reports were his knee , so thank his lucky stars , to be honest as much as I really rated the guy I was always worried that he was one bad injury away from being finished
-
I realise that he must do his talking on the pitch , but the more I hear from him the more I like him
-
As much as he's an ex player it is still disturbing to hear when any player get's a serious injury especially one who has had two bad knee injuries in the past . Reports from today's Leicster v old firm reserves , games aint positive , he took a real bad one . Good luck Kevin I fear you may need it .
-
He was at the game , he arrived at the back of 12 , he's carrying a knock .
-
cheers gazza , will just remove it .
