The RST as it presently stands is a dead duck due to low membership numbers a largely apathetic support but by far the worst accusation weak leadership by certain individuals who put personal gain ahead of the RST's . What happened a few years ago when the last board were ousted in what could be compared to the night of the long knives was a disgrace , Stalin wouldn't have run Russia the way this lot went about their business , committee's to oversee other board members , I know power corrupts but never in such a short space of time did so few get so paranoid so quickly . The irony is that this present lot are doing the same things , certain board member's with the best of intentions ( I fully accept that ) worked away behind the scenes and without everyone's knowledge in the best interest's of the club , but the piont is you cant have it both ways , if you live by the sword then you must fall the same way. Until as Maineflyer suggests there is open elections and this nonesense of coopting friends onto the board ends , the RST is going no where and the membership will continual to dwindle . As a life member I am firmly commited to the aims and objectives of a properly run RST . this however isn't it , certain individuals tarnish it by their presence , this may not be a popular opinion but it is widely held . The previous stratedgy of slaughtering Murray never worked as the vast majority of normal fans outside of internet land saw this as an attack on Rangers and it was always doomed to failure , the Radio and press in gerneral lapped it up , however some inside the RST do see a different way forward and perhaps in the full ness of time a new better RST can appear that has mass appeal , however for that to happen the interests of the club must come first , and unfortunately that will never happen . Finally opinions of fans on internet forums are by and large worthless as we are in a tiny minority , until the wider support and in fact the club can be convinced of the worth while value of the RST in the long term , nothing will change . As wabashcannonball stated nearly a year ago and though it sticks like a knife in my heart to write it , Murray is still the only game in town .

This is anything but nonesense , and to deny it as Maineflyer has said is just silly , it's public record and also RST minuted .

Why does he need to be Scottish , can we not stop being parocial just for a wee minute , just because Vogts was a disaster doesn't mean all foreign coaches are bad

This is a guy who tried to discredit former RST board member about fake signed tops that had been auctioned for charity, again he never when challenged followed up on his accusations and the money was never recovered .As for David Edgar I accept the point raised as he has left , however he will forever be closely connected with the trust though that is nobodies fault , but to try and say that FF alone is responsible for raising all that charitable money is laughable . MD gets money everytime there is a hit on that site never mind what he recieves in advertising and again RST news and is carried out and broken on there first , as a lifetime member I cannot tell you the last time I recieved either a text or e-mail . Like it or not the RST is damaged by its association with MD , as for FF being the biggest , quantity will never make up for quality, sorru but we need to disagree on that

You dont play the number of games in the top level that he has without having something about him , he was frozen out at Stoke and will not be fully fit for a few weeks yet , give him a chance

When you consider we are still run by committee's it says it all really , the Highland league , East coast league , club's like berwick and god knows who else . What chance do we have we are stuck in the 50's . We need a clear out and a professional set up akin to a major club , but it will never happen the blazers like Bankers and MP's are all about self and until the fans stop going nothing will change .

Sorry but have to disagree here , there is an increasing amount of RST business which is done exclusively through Ff or �£�£ as it is being increasingly known as , the excuses that were used to remove the previous RST board can quite as easily be aimed at this lot , every hit on that site earns one man money , christ there's now �£�£ podcasts , what next , it's no wonder more and more good fans are moving to other sites . If it wasn't about the money how does he never remove the timposters even when they are reported directly to him . Used to be a good site , now just a joke

I have to agree , whilst as you know I was a very strong advocate of the RST , this is getting bloody ridiculous , we have podcast's , Edgar is bringing out a book ( and I do like the guy ) , another book ,Dingwall seems to have went into overdrive to suck every penny he can out of the gullable , there's even a strong hint that he is involved somehow in the Founders Trail , which I hope to god is wrong. Sites such as Vanguard Bears cant even be mentioned on that site , I dont even go there any more it's a complete joke . I just hope the RST can somehow evolve stronger somehow from this .

And at this precise moment in time just exactly is that and how is it measured , by the team , by the board , by the management , or even by the support , in that case we get what we deserve , at this moment in time . Traditions are something that though they may be something to aspire to are something of a distant memory to those in power , and as for standards it is nothing more than a dirty word to some in places of authority .

Hi guys , just managed to get on for probably the first and only time as I am in NY with my daughter settling her into Uni . I have posted many times about and against Muir , I have heard first hand Walter briefing the press against him , I know for a fact he attempted to sell Davis to Birmingham , but what is also apparent even though I hate to admit it , is that we really are in the mess everyone has been saying we are in and that his actions coupled with great C/L finance for 2 years plus a few million in transfer money have really helped . Let's just hope we never return to the disasterous way's of Murray , who knows if we get out of the c/l in third and get a good run in the europa league we could really make a dent in our dent , any way I'm of for a halfcalf decaf skinny latte on rye bread with a bagel on top and a donut .
