  1. Definetly not , and I agree with all your points , however what I was trying to say was that Ally went public with every transfer target I listed and was also quoted directly stating he wanted them at the club , now he more than any knows our requirements , he more than anyone will carry the can for the success/failure of this season , and he was also in place during the Kaunus debacle , there is no excuses for how we have approached these transfers and the players we are still keen on , Bougherra is away in 3 days yet his replacement is still not in place , that is all I am stating , I thought our business would have been much more professional , to go back 4 times to try and get Goodwillie and eventually offer more than what we would have had to pay 2 weeks ago is mind blowing .
  2. But Ally isnt new to this job , he's been there for years , he knew what was required 7 months ago , he knows all the contract positions of the players we have and are attempting to sign , the pathetic attempts we have made to sign over 12 players (signing 3) is ridiculous , we constantly bid lower than other clubs or bids we all know will be rejected , all at the same time Ally has publically stated our interest in them. Vaughan, Danns , Hemed , Goodwillie ,Conway ,Cuellar , Verhoek ,Juhasz,Miller, Ortiz , Goian , Wallace . I am not for one second wanting us to go back to the bad old pay anything days , but when your manager wants a player then goes public , losing one or two is acceptable but 9 is just ridiculous..... also Bartlay and Wilson
  3. some smoke screen going back 4 times and eventually bidding in excess of what we could have gotten him for 10 days ago
  4. I certainly wouldn't blame McCoist for following a tried and trusted path just now or at least until he gets the players in that he feels he requires( more on that in a minute ) . Everyone forgets just what a total shambles the last board left the club in , major players just about out of contract , one of the smallest and possibly weakest squads ever , it's a hell of a rebuilding task that's being attempted ..........in saying that , Our weakness's and requirements for players is obvious and has been for months , that Ally has been in position doesn't cut him much slack , in fact it makes it worse , just exactly who or why we are making these ridiculous bids for players and dragging every transfer out is beyond me and only serves to deflate the support and make us a laughing stock. The Goodwillie transfer saga is a case in point we have made 5 bids for a player we could easily have had weeks ago and are now offering more than was required then , the Hungarian Center half and Dutch winger , god only knows but someone better get their finger out and pronto , this is starting to get stupid.

I totally agree , they are too simillar and it's like playing with a man down , he even put Edu wide right , thats just not fair on Edu or Whittaker , who had no out ball , why he never put Ortiz wide right and brought on Wylde is beyond me . Another thing , why resign Healy , nothing against the guy but why waste wages on him

    Every Season

All I want and have wanted ever since Advocatt left was for a team capable of controlling the ball , capable of passing the ball and capable of moving into space to recieve the ball . Now in the hurly burly world of the back water that is Scottish football that isn't required , here all we care about is passion , drive , desire , attitude, get in to them , but in Europe we are continually humilliated , for that is what happened tonight , especially the last 10 minutes . I really hope Ally McCoist survives this , I really hope Rangers survive ( I know its a stupid statement but you get my jist) ,unfortunately we have players who suit us in Scotland but are cack in Europe , there is no creative spark nor anyone capable of a killer pass or run , bar Jelavic, the clocks ticking Mr Whyte ,,,,,,,,tick tock tick tock
  7. This is going to be a long season unless we get more players of a dceent standard in and quickly , however the cream always rises to the top . This was always going to be a difficult game against probably one of our biggest threats , JJ always has his teams well drilled and first games of the season are always awkward

The £3million on the stadium is being paid for by the catering contractors £1.7 million and Glasgow Council( Sound system) as part of the Commenwealth games upgrade , we are doing the concourses , big screens etc
  9. LEE WALLACE admits signing for Rangers was a no-brainer once the Light Blues had their £1.5 million bid accepted. The 23-year-old sealed a five year contract and says that the chance to become a medal winner was a key reason behind his move from Edinburgh to Glasgow. He revealed a conversation with manager Ally McCoist has already inspired him ahead of what he sees as a huge challenge. Wallace said: "Having just spoken to the manager for ten minutes I can see that he is a winner and that's what I want to become. "I know I need to work hard to get the chance to play but that's what I want to do because I want to be a winner. "I'm going in to a dressing room that is full of winners and that can only benefit me. I know five or six through the international scene as well. "But the winning mentality is built in to the club and that's something I want to develop because I want to be a winner." Wallace admitted that he is relieved that the long running transfer saga is now over after a summer long pursuit by the Light Blues. He added: "I'm just happy that it has finally come about. There has been a bit of speculation but that is good to hear because it is such a big club. "I've got ambitions to play at a high level and with what has happened today I have met those so I am delighted it has finally happened. "There was a slight concern but I'm a professional and I kept going in and working hard. That's how I am, so I stayed focused."
  10. One thing about any American , he will be an athlete , technically good and disciplined , they also have an in built desire to win .
  11. We certainly use Ross Hall , I had certain procedures carried out in there ( no laughing at the back ) and the surgeon was still being used by us , that was only last year .
  12. I cannot believe the depth of despair being shown at this signing , I honestly believe this is a great bit of business , great player , position we need cover for , he,s the right age , all in all a great signing at a good price
  13. Dont let Frankie kid anyone on with the old" there's a nice strip to be won ", Its actually a 2 week holiday all inclusive in the Maldives

Only for the qualifiers mate , then the date is the 1st or 2nd of September
  18. With several weeks still to go until the transfer window slam's shut , we seem to be getting ever more desperate to sign a player , any player will do or so it seems , at least here in internet land . The reality is that we have been slaves to the mismanagement of Murrayand the previous board/bank and are paying the price short term , the fact that the spine of the team has been signed up long term seem's to have been totally missed by all ,these players would and should have been long gone if it wasn't for Mr Whyte's takeover. We are actively seeking new players , the fact that we are not just paying what the selling club wants seems again to byepass most in internet land , does anyone really think that our new manager wants to fail , or that we as it stand are not good enough with the present first team at our disposal to beat Malmo . I am not for a second saying that we are good enough to go through the season ahead with the squad as it stands , but the internet and forums other than this , also twitter ,are fast becoming no go areas such is the despair that seems to engulf us with every passing hour that CC or A N Other hasn't signed . Lets all just chill out and await the next few weeks and see what transpires if players are not brought in by then , then I will be the first to start PANICING but until then lets look forward and not back tothe bad old days when we accepted every and any rubbish bid for what ever player another team wanted . We are after all ............:spl::spl: , and dont anyone forget it
  19. Frankie after 5 games you are either sugar or shite amongst our support . No one likes to take a long term view we have been so used to having to get players who hit the ground running that no one is allowed to develop
  20. Good steady first half , its all about little improvements
  21. An end to the constant attacks on us , a successful outcome to the HMRC case , a stabilisation of the club generally and some long term planning both playing staff wise as well as off field commercial activities. On the field C/L qualification is vital . Winning the league and getting the lurgan bigot the boot would just be magical , cant be bothered with the cups but this is a massive season .
  22. Certainly not praising them or writing us off , just answering a point at this specific time and place
  23. All the mistrust and general unease has imho more to do with SDM's legacy than anything Craig Whyte has so far said or done , they have obviously been trying for players but , as the majority have wanted for years , are unwilling to pay over the odds for transfer fees or wages , also the transfer window has 7 weeks still to go .
  24. They have a settled squad and actually need to lose players rather than gain , on the other hand we will hopefully have the rigours of another C/L campaign plus at this present time a very light weight squad , good first team but very little behind to back up , long way to go till the end of the transfer window so its still a bit early to really analyze anything , BUT as we stand presently , they are looking stronger to cope with a start of the season
  25. The qualifying date is irrelevant . he wont be fit till at least the end of August
