Lets face it the guys a patsy , he'sdone what needs to be done at the behest of others , we needed to adress the big tax case , the debt , the running costs etc etc , I have absolutely no doubt we will be out of this with new owners by the end of May , it may not be ethical , it may not be the Rangers way , it may not be nice and sit very well but its done and we will move onwards and upwards
-
how do you get that onto face book
-
As much as I have criticized him this year , that was one fantastic press conference , maybe just maybe we have a true Rangers legend in the making here , not just on the field but off it as well , hats off sir , tremendous
-
Just a small point for some who dont know this , any business if solvent cannot be put in administration , to deal with our long term historic problems ie HMRC etc administration was always going to have to happen , not for one minute am I sticking up for CW's very dubious dealings but some things like Ticketus seem very obvious to me and some others who I know have been through this process with their own business

This was posted by a guy who has in the past proved very good with the inside track but as with everything games are being played , however the Blue Knights plan may back up what I witnessed yesterday or may not Sccgers The news I got tonight was not any better Whytes game plan is to liquidate the club New business name, new club name, new everything Rangers FC as we know it now gone What we get is the new Rangers FC 2012 Clubs pushing for sanctions, clubs pushing for temoval of our titles and being able to continue our proud history, no European licence and even having to re apply for our status - the tims, backed by Dundee Utd amongst others are going to push for us to be burried What we will have is We will be debt free What Whyte gets is the chance to rid all debts - a chance to savage every outgoing of the club and make them viable He then sells us on at a profit of millions which go's to his pocket - all for one pound Whyte had put in nothing - one token quid He has taken millions which are unaccounted for He plans to savage our first team squad He has lied to everyone and has cheated since day one What happens now is crucial A rescue package is being restructured by P Murray and A Johnstone - they are currently putting together a saviour plan to go to the administrator with a proposal - this is very real Everyone is being contacted possible with money to put together a plan and thankfully people are ready to invest This is our only hope of saving Rangers as we know it Craig Whyte must be removed from our club - I cannot stress how important this is Liquidation is the end game for a man with less shame and bluster than even those before him When the time comes be ready to back Mr Paul Murray and company The time is now - CW must be stopped and this is as serious as it will ever get - this is his end game As for the title - I only passed on what happened and what I was told - like now Despite accusations I don't care what people think if then I'd never been back after passing on the Ellis stuff - everything is honest as it is now On Saturday make it known and make yourself proud - get this man out of our club Few years ago I was part of the protests to remove muir-Murray , radio newspapers the works I currently working on a protest plan for Saturday but it is at early stages - We need to be heard - it may be nothing but I feel I have to do something On a side note and something that hit home today - our manager and legend delivered a no surrender speech to our squad yesterday that had him in tears as he tried to keep us somehow together We owe it to ourselves and our fine club to try anything we can This is as serious as it gets - I cant stress it enough Here we stand - we can do no other

4 were , one owned an accountancy firm and one was a barclays business manager ( high end )
-
Also there will be no accounts for last year so what happens re Europe I have no idea
-
Ticketus had a very bad day yesterday , as they are an unsecured creditor against Rangers they just join the long line of creditors who will have to agree or disagree with whats offered by the administrator
-
Craig , you only need to look around in the next few days to see the number of interested parties who want Rangers , we are a totally different club to where we were on Monday. Take out the feelings and whether it is ethical or not , these are businessmen who do not take feelings into account , hard cash is the only game in town and CW has bought a very strong hand for £1 . He also has done what Murray had neither the stomach or balls to do restructure the club . Lets look at a few things . 1. Debt tackled 2. Wage bill will be addressed , as sad as it is , take the emotions out , our running costs are too high , we have no employement tribunial liability nor redundancy packages to deal with 3. HMRC cases will not only be brought to a head but finished one way or another . 4.Extremly likely to have new owners , who will be able to take us forward , debt free 5. Season ticket money is free to finance club going forward , Ticketus have no claim over Rangers For the sake of one seasons pain , extreme pain we can and will emerge better , leaner , and stronger than before , it will be painful emotionally but as far as I can gather the future is very bright , the biggest decision in our recent history happened yesterday getting our own administrator appointed.
-
The most interesting part was the opinion on the big tax case , and also his use of Ticketus
-
Why , we have no money , we are in administration , the HMRC case cannot be cherry picked time wise , if they have won as we believe is the case then thats it , they tried to get us into administration over the £9 million unpaid , not over the £75 which if it is that high is now lost to them

Yesterday will go down in history as the bloody Valentine's day in our once great club's history , when rallying calls were sounded all around the world and former owners made pathetic sound bites which amounted to the root of hee haw . Yet in a small resteraunt in Bothwell the sound of champagne corks being popped and much laughter and back slapping was all that filled a room , and if I hadnt seen it with my own eyes I would never have believed it . There are a group of gentlemen who are of the opinion that Whyte has just pulled off the greatest scam ever , and in doing so have saved Rangers a fortune as well as securing their long term future all for the price of £1 . I cannot name names as I do not know them all personally and my reason for being there was purely coincedental however after talking to my firend who has no interest in football what so ever , but is a business man and who also has liquidated companies , he talked me through what they know to have happened , they are also of the belief that the large tax case is irrelevant because of yesterdays proceedings , only time will tell , but there were certainly plenty of happy Rangers fans in one part of the country .
-
Its both , one influences the other , once HMRC let it be known they werent for negotiating I dont believe CW had any other option , plus getting our own administrator is absolutely massive
-
Amazed that any who thought that we should pay any bills , considering those in charge knew administration was the likely outcome , why throw more money down the stank , the difference between us the supporters and those in charge (hopefully) , they let their brain dictate a course of action , we use our hearts , big difference
-
The liability of the tax case becomes instant the decision is reached , HMRC cannot wait for a more convenient date in time , also as they have yet to be issued with a tax demand Whyte could in theory pass a 75% CVA
-
That may just be the elephant in the room
-
Craig thats very true , whats vital is the long term future of the club and a funding/spending program that fits inside our earnings
-
love it , absolutely love it ,
-
Are they now appointed Frankie , trying to follow this via twitter on here and via the press is difficult
-
The future of Rangers is no place for being a smart arse , no one is happy with this but ever since it became apparent the tax bill was upwards of £50 million , today has been an inevitability , at least we may have a future , if HMRC had won the administrator arguement , Liquidation was a near certainty , now its possibly no more than 30%
-
Frankie this is a massive victory if CW can get an administrator in place by the alloted time
-
Weve won the administrator bit , get moving Whyte , 3.30 and counting
-
From what I have been told by my mate in the press their understanding is that if CW breached his agreement on buying the club SDM would be required (not forced I agree ) to take back control , again this is a seperate issue from the Ticketus money , it was not secured against Rangers
-
I know that , but what has that to do with the Ticketus deal , they just become another creditor
-
surely the accounts issue was being held up by the tax . All the financials will not have changed , the tax issue surely will now we are in administration there is surely no need for a tax liability , what would hold them up .
