  1. The date on the telegraph page was today but the story date was nov 2011 , is this definetly current
  2. Surely we need to take one thing at a time , firstly if the players revert back to their original contract as come June 1st the release/low transfer clause disappears , 2nd if we manage to come out of this with a CVA I believe we only have a 1 year European ban , its only if the third option/nuclear option of a newco kicking in that players can leave if they wish and the 3 year ban comes into play from Europe , or have I missed something ( quite probably lol) ps welcome Davie p
  3. Can you please make clear to Mr Green that as soon as the takeover is complete a war needs to be waged against the detractors of our club
  4. That is a fantastic summary of events , its no wonder the main stream media dont want this discussed
  5. I think that we have every right to be confused , however what is clear is that we have new owners who will want to ensure they arent paying out unnecesarily , they will want a CVA i believe , however the biggest threat is still the on going losses and how they aim to deal with steadying our finances . One thing that CG stated and is something I 100% agree with , there are very few clubs anywhere who , if run correctly , can get access to the C/L , we can and at a budget much lower than say an EPL team
  6. Frankie there are already rumblings about season ticket price increases , you couldnt make our support up at times , 10,000 march on Hampden , over £12million in pledges to saverangers , but now that the club is saved (hopefully ) its the new owners problem
  7. yes and one of the bastards off it
  8. The press photographers were in attendance as they had been tipped of , but as you say lets wait and see......
  9. I think we are talking about different things here , and I cant talk for Zappa , but what I was taking issue with you was not your opinion on TBK but your use of the term op (which is generally agreed to mean original poster ) and that he was full of pish and spin. Yet in your post which I have included you say that you have never accused anyone of posting pish and spin , I think we are arguing or rather discussing different points here .Like I also said I cant speak for Zappa but I am guessing he may be thinking along the same lines as me
  10. They already have .(the club that is ) and one of the scum and the bus have already been recognised
  11. From someone who knows Tiny , from FF -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry to start a new thread but I wanted as many people as possible to see this. My Mum just spoke to Tiny on the phone. She is fine though very shaken by her ordeal this afternoon. According to Tiny: A Bus load of them turned up at the stadium. Yes, they chartered a bus to take them to Ibrox. The filth climbed the Broomloan gates to hang up balloons and banners etc. They have since been taken down of course. "Some of the things they were shouting we're just unbelievable, from the girls among them too. They were absolutely vicious!" This is coming from someone who has worked there for nearly half a century now and thought she had seen it all until today. They were throwing all sorts at the staff, including, yes you've guessed it, jelly and ice cream. Tiny said she was scared witless to even go outside to her car. She got to the in shot at the front doors and turned to see the can of lager flying toward her. She just managed to divert her head away from it, so the can didn't actually hit her, but the can was opened and it sprayed over her. Fact remains though whoever the big brave person was that threw it did so when her back was turned. The Police were called but of course the cowards had disappeared by the time they arrived. However, according to Tiny there were three photographers there who witnessed the whole thing, so obviously these photographers had gotten wind of this happening. I guess we'll find out who let them know once we find out if this is reported or ignored. When my Mum said maybe the daily record will know about this then, Tiny replied "Aye well they'll just ignore it then won't they?" Tiny is obviously shaken but she is physically fine. Anybody that has served this club for as long as she has, through good years and bad, is obviously made of sterner stuff. She also asked my Mum to ask me to pass on her thanks and appreciation to everyone who has shown concern. She genuinely didn't know it was all over cyberspace already what had happened
  12. Got to say I was actually very impressed with that , reminded me of Mr Holmes
  13. It makes sense , and since everyone has been desperate to save the club by any means , I believe it will be a small price to pay , also they have been frozen for 3 years
  14. That is an English thing , the administrators can get around it by using the SPL prize money ,also the admin's have been in constant contact with all creditors so they must know what and what isnt acceptable
  15. I think after the past few weeks and the constant media whoring by all the parties including some of our own fan groups , everyone will hopefully be able to breath a small bit easier . What we all hope C G and his consortium now do , is communicate via the official channels with all the fans , this drip drip via certain sites does nothing for anyone . What I have found is that the official media guys via twitter and the clubs own web site have done a great job and I hope this is taken on board by the new owners . Onwards and upwards
  16. The main part I disagreed with you on was your assertion that Tannochsidebears piece was all about spin or as you put it pish and spin , where as IMHO it was a very well balanced piece , I do agree that there are an element that were desperate for TBK's to win , however that now appears to be in our past .
  17. That will never die , as their entire being was all about destroying Rangers .they will just move onto something else
  18. Can someone please decipher this into english .............................. are you on drugs pal
  19. You obviously havent read Tannochsidebears article , no one cares more about the Rangers than him and to try and put him in the same category as some of the idiots on other forums is just plain stupid , he has never had and never will have an agenda other than whats best for Rangers
  20. If TBK,s do not get control they only have themaselves to blame , the failure to properly finance a creditors pot is shameful and does them no favours , we aren,t talking about amounts in the tens of millions here , another 3 or 4 million would have more than covered it yet they want us on the cheap , also the european money that is mentioned is ridiculous , just ridiculous
  21. Saturday night press statement from Brian Kennedy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Press Release Blue Knights -Following more disingenous spin on the Value of Blue Knights Bid we clarify the following : Payable on completion of CVA (around end July) we will pay £5.5m net net net into the creditors pot. On acceptance as preferred bidder, we take over all costs incurred. These are estimated at £3m per month so to end of july losses are £6m. The club are due payment of around £2.4m, from football debtors, so the cash shortfall will be £3.6m. Blue Knights will pay this. Therefore, on exiting CVA end July the total cash out, paid by the B K investors is £5.5m plus £3.6m = £9.1m. There will be substantially more cash required from the investors going forward from this date to ensure all costs and losses are funded. Im sure all honest people can imagine how furious the BK investors were when they read the recent comments by Mr Whitehead attempting to confuse by focussing on the figure £2.5m. The total amount we believe is needed to fund RFC, including the £9.1m by end June, is around £20m. Any transfer monies in would reduce this, but we may need to make some player purchases too. Furthermore, we ask Mr Whitehouse why our current bid was considered in the right 'ball park' in a conversation between Mr Kennedy and Mr Clark on saturday 28th Apr. We would also ask why we were told last thursday morning that given our advanced stage of due diligence, we were likely to be given preferred bidder status. In fact friday morning 11th May, there were exchanges of contracts for interim funding between our lawyers and Duff and Phelps. Clearly our bid was enough then, until a higher bid was recieved and firmed up at the eleventh hour. We would like to add that should a higher bidder be given preferred bidder status, and such a person or persons are fit and proper and robust financially with high liklihood of completing the deal, all Rangers men women and children should support this if it is considered this is in the best interests of the club. The Blue Knights objective is not to own Rangers. It is to save Rangers.
  22. Frankie they let people discuss any old rumour especially when its to the detrement of us or the betterment of Septic , but try and discuss a rumopur that puts them in a bad light and it goodbye and your off
  23. He was trying to get the rumour out that Celtic were about to resign from the league and go to the championship , and that the Scottish press had been sitting on it , its been doing the rounds since Davie Provan wrote a piece in a sunday paper stating Septic had been trying to get discussions or were in discussions with the Championship
  24. Cheers mate , I just posted what McConnville wrote regarding the document
  25. Now this taking from Paul McConvilles blog, so cld be a lot of piss........ Since Rangers fell into financial troubles, various possible “new Rangers” have appeared on the books of Companies House. However these usually turn out probably to have been created by fans, opportunists or jokers. Over recent months the following companies have appeared – Rangers Football Club of Glasgow Ltd Rangers 2012 Ltd Glasgow Rangers Ltd Glasgow Rangers Club Football Ltd Glasgow Rangers Football Club Ltd Glasgow Rangers Football Club 2012 Ltd' There is even a Celtic Ranger Ltd! However, I can exclusively reveal the most likely of these various pretenders to be the real “newco”. My sources (the Companies House website) disclose that on 4th May 2012 a new company was incorporated. Please welcome – RANGERS FC ACQUISITIONS LTD. You can read the incorporation documents at this link – Rangers FC Acquisitions Ltd Inc-1 What makes this more credible than the others? The sole shareholder is Atholl Incorporations Ltd and the Director is Mr Julian Voge. Both are based at the offices of Brodies, Solicitors, in Edinburgh. Mr Voge is one of the top corporate lawyers in Scotland. That does not mean that, necessarily, he is to have any role in the running of this newco, if that is what it is. One of the roles performed by Brodies is to set up companies for its clients, before the transfer of shares and directorships to the real parties. Brodies themselves are amongst the best commercial law firms in Scotland, and therefore it is less likely, although not impossible, that their client too is a joker. What would be most interesting of course would be to find out from Brodies if their client is Mr Bill Miller, or someone else entirely. If the latter then, as the company was only set up on Friday 4th May, the mystery would only deepen, as that would suggest someone confident that Mr Miller would not acquire the club. Brodies, in return for its expertise, would not be the cheapest place to go to buy an off the peg company. Therefore I believe this is serious. Now, has anyone seen Paul Murray, Brian Kennedy, or even Sir David Murray or Craig Whyte entering Brodies’ office recently? Brodies of course will not answer any questions about this due to client confidentiality, and rightly so. If it is Bill Miller, then at least one of the many tasks for this coming week can be crossed off his to do list! He has now a company set up. He still needs to turn it into a football club though, which is not as easy as one might think.
