Rangers First - Temporary Chairs of Working Groups Announced
rbr replied to WATP_Greg's topic in Rangers Chat
The point that most fans that are online fail to realise , even when it's pointed out time and again , the vast majority of football fans , as a whole , ignore online forums , websites , twitter , fb etc etc , on talksport a few weeks ago they were discussing social media and an expert stated that over 86% of participating fans , ie those that actually went to the games , had no online contact about their clubs , and that that figure dramatically fell amongst fans that didn't attend games , I missed the actual figure he quoted Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Rangers First - Temporary Chairs of Working Groups Announced

Social media has many many advantages for society but every noiw and again something comes up that makes you shake your head in disbelief , this is one of those occassions . I dont know the girl , neither do I know those involved in the premeditated and incessant campaign to get shot of her , but it is a sad , sad thing to watch on twitter , now their target has moved to someone else on the rangersfirst volunteer list , its truly desperate how low our own support can stoop sometimes -
It's now official: We've got Hearts in the Championship next season.

Exactly and they will do it with an Income far less than ours , even though their outlay is less , this is where rangersfirst could be our secret weapon Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

This whole RFFF thing is a complete mess , a mess that only Rangers fans could get themselves into , no matter what the money goes to there will be detractors , and amazingly if the people that said they put money to it actually did there would have been millions in the RFFF

That I don't know but it would be interesting , also Hibs were well in this league infact if they won they would have went top , Celtic still have to play them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I,m pleasantly surprised that this young squad are not only competing but actually in with a great chance of winning it , that Celtic and Dun Hibs have spent literally fortunes bringing in kids yet we are not only competing but beating them , well done Durie and the swifts

Or does it suit certain parties that we cant , therefore forcing the club to go to existing shareholders for money , oh wait

Change of Time is ok with me , looking forward to it -
Desmond and certain other directors get a preference dividend every year it works out at just over 6% and is hidden away in their accounts , but it is there , it also show that these preference share are worth just over £9million and in the event of the share holders selling them , these shares must retain their initial purchase price, ie £1.25, but if your getting 6 % in perpetuity why sell

I wasnt having a dig mate , but I honestly feel that if infact here are 1000 , already signed up from a soft launch then that is simply amazing , but getting the message out there that fellow fans are signing up will help this snowball , that plus the great efforts getting out to supporters clubs , on the CROpod and even the possible trip to NARSA all show what is possible , well done mate -

Totally agree and as I made the same point the other day , people like to be associated with things that are successful , and where they can see other fans joining , one of the biggest drawbacks in schemes of the past is that there was no information coming out therefore people believed they were flops/flawed and didnt join . Get the info out there Greg -
CROpod interview with the Rangersfirst guys , well worth a listen
