The tax issue has nothing to do with us , why does this keep getting brought up
-
Brahim , until there is a proper full scale media launch and the widfer fan base gets to know about this then its always going to be a small uptake , the % of fans who go on forums or twitter or even FB is minuts in the overall scheme of things , it has to go mainstream , even having a stall at Ibrox on match days would help greatly. If you compare this to the Hearts situation , they were on both news channels nightly for weeks getting free advertising , we are on twitter , Fb and a few forums , as its banned on FF

He must be buying serious amounts of shares then , according to the share information section , he currently owns 3,000,000 or 4.56% , goin up to 9% will be a seriouss jump. Shareholder No of Ordinary Shares held % of issued share capital Laxey Partners Ltd 8,292,957 12.6% Artemis Investment Management LLP 5,479,000 8.33% River and Mercantile Asset Management LLP 4,795,500 7.29% Hargreave Hale Limited 4,601,688 6.99% Blue Pitch Holding* 4,000,000 6.08% Miton Capital Partners 3,143,857 4.78% Mike Ashley 3,000,000 4.56% Alexander Easdale* 2,942,957 4.47% Margarita Funds Holding Trust* 2,600,000 3.95%

I dont know why anyone blames Ashley for doing what any business man would do , and make serious money out of any circumstance . Its not his fault CG was an arse of a man , neither was it our fault that we got lumbered with him , but we need to deal with whats in front of us and deal with the past at a later date.

Greg , the ticker and also the progress bar are excellent and allows anyone to see where we are in our current quest . I defy any fan who loves his club , enjoys a few beers and the odd bet , not to be able to find £10 a month to put towars getting their club back or at least getting heard by the board of that club . Plus the rangersfirst retail section is superb and its amazing the number of companies they now have signed up to it .

If rangersfirst can get thge 5% they want as the first aim , then they get certain powers with that % , and so it goes on and on , the money/ shares they/we hold the better .Plus and this is just as important , if there were 20,000 or 30,000 fans paying into one of the schemes this board or any board would be fool hardy to ignore that. We can achieve this for the price of 1 pint of lager a week , I refuse to believe that anyone cant afford a £10 a month , especially those that say they are skint but go down the pub everyweek or spend money with the bookies , its a simple choice , I hope this doesnt come across as me preaching as I like a pint and a punt but I've made my choice

That's only the case because we don't get behind them , the fans already hold 12%, not including the schemes mentioned , but the more divided we stay the more the things will stay the same

You can only change the schemes by joining them and making your point known at the AGM's , no amount of complaining on a forum will change anything

When we return ,and we will return to the days of success , they will be all the sweeter , just keep believing brother , keep believing , have you checked out the rangersfirst post , even the basic £5 a month can make a difference if enough of us join , check it out.

158 views of this , be interesting to see how many have signed up even for just the basic £5 a month or have even just made a donation. Still its easier just to go onto forums and moan and do nothing else I suppose

Brahim , I agree whole heartedly and at the meeting I attended in the louden it was one of the things they were keen to get right , alas it seems they are going the same way as the RST with gersave and the numbers are a matter of state secret , they do have 16000 twitter followers and one thiung that was announced was the ratio between followers and those participating which was 9-1 approx , which would give an actual membership of approx 1700 , this is just a very rough figure . Considering there has been no main stream media lauch and everything has been on social media its not bad but the much fated launch just never seems to happen .

I dont know the exact figures on this , but on the rangersfirst page there is a rolling screen of whos recently joined , and I have been watching it quite closely over the last few days , its been amazing to see the number of fellow fans that have been joining not just at the fan level, £5 a month, but at the supporter £10 and founder £18.72, levels , plus amazingly the life members and an amazing number of donations , where you dont need to sign up for any set monthly amounts but can donate one off amounts. Add in all the retail partners they have signed up , it is actually very impressive , anyone not checked out the rangersfirst retail section really should do so , any purchases made through the links , rangersfirst get a % back .

Another 99000 shares traded today , 75000delayed and in the scale of things small beer but still.....
-
So what exactly does that mean
-
Looks like 3.6 million shares were traded today or rather transferred , could this be in part payement for either outstanding loan
-
One person did , but another already knew the answer but still muddied the waters

Not getting involved , it's been asked and answered on the rangers first forum , plus these have been answers sent to those who asked , like I said it's pretty pathetic imho

It's not a mess at all , it's just mud slinging and petty bitching by people who should know better , truly pathetic from some on this forum

I would encourage anyone not already a member to join now The below will be being emailed to all members shortly. We encourage all Rangers Fans world wide to now participate in at http://www.rangersfirst.org'>http://www.rangersfirst.org We are the People and this is our time. Dear members > > As you will have gathered the Club issued an Open Offer today regarding the issue of 19,864,918 new Ordinary Shares in Rangers International Football Club PLC. > > The full details of that issue can be found here: > > http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exch ... d=12066370 > > We would ask that you have a read of it all. > > Rangers First was set up to collectively buy as many shares in the PLC as it could, with the hope of at least reaching 5% ownership which in a PLC is significant as it would allow Rangers First to hold any PLC board to account via the calling of a General meeting. > > Rangers First can confirm that it has already written to both Graham Wallace and the NOMAD (Daniel Stewart & Company PLC, who has confirmed reciept) that it is in a position to “invest beyond our pro-rated pre-emption rights” and that Rangers First would “wish to be added to any Excess Application Facility for the purchase of additional shares” > > Upon reflection on todays statement the Rangers First steering group has concluded that it is most appropriate to continue on our policy of buying shares and will as we indicated in our letter seek to take up as many as possible. > > However as is made clear in the Clubs own statement there are severe risks if this share issue is not taken up and this will not be the last share issue and so we presume these same risks will also attach as concerns to the further share offers to follow. Rangers First is set up as a democratic organisation and so the Steering Group wish to put the democratic process into action and have our members confirm by vote that they are happy for Rangers First Steering Group to continue its share purchase policy and take up as many shares as it can in this share issue. > > All members will be sent a vote in the next few hours which will be open over the weekend. > > This is another chance for Rangers Fans to take a significant stake and have significantly more influence at our Club. From the statement this will be the first of a number of equity raises so now is the time to sign up, get you family, home and abroad signed up, get those you go to and watch the game with signed…..get every Bear you have ever known to sign up to Rangers First > > http://www.rangersfirst.org Please consider taking out a Life membership of Rangers First for £500 (this can be passed to your children one day) or joining for a monthly fee of as little as £5 per month (U16 free) Selling all the 1872 life membership would raise enough for Rangers First to buy over 5% of the Club and reach our Stage 1 > > > We are the People and this is our Time!
