I can see pinocchio sorry stevie g coming in for Kamara and or kent. Hagi I think will go to galatasaray, it's where he was born and his dad played there, hes never hidden the fact that's where he wants to go. Time will tell but I recon there could be as many as 6 or 7 that wont be there come the end of the season.

What would I do? Sell hagi kent and kamara.

Between aribo kamara kent and hagi I think we will lose at least 2 of them in the next transfer window. But they wont be leaving for nothing. Kent especially as I think he would have taken gerrard leaving the hardest. Gio needs funds to build his team and some will have to leave to fund his ambitions.

What is my point? Everything you just said! We stick with the current squad and we will get the same results next season as we did this one. To many players for me have ran there course and need to be moved on.

When they walk out the door for a pittance of what they're actually worth I can say I told you so. Given the teams being mentioned and the clubs financial state it makes perfect business sense to play assets like Patterson and Kelly and sell them on for the best price possible. In my opinion tavenier has never been the man to captain the team . And that's what it is, an opinion.

No he was crap. And hes no leader on the park either. Something that's been pretty evident this season.

The most ridiculous thing I keep on reading in here is people who keep referring to the past. Tavenier peaked last season and will never have another season like it. I'll include goldson in that comment as well. We need to look to the future. Patterson in 100 minutes of International football had two assists and a goal to his name and played a very big role in Scotland securing a place in the WC playoffs. What exactly does he have to do on your eyes to prove himself? Kelly too gets a standout man of the match performance for the under 21s and hes no where to be seen. Having seen davis look every bit like the 37 year old completely off the pace at hibs during the week I am asking questions about his contribution to the side. You also mentioned in an earlier post about what we achieved with no money. We should be using our academy if this is the case, especially when we can see they're more than good enough for the SPFL

Going by your logic then we should drop kent and play sakala as hes scored more goals and in a shorter space of games. As for tav if he left tomorrow you wouldnt notice. Patterson would more than fill his boots. His influence in the national team is testament to that.

Hmmm maybe I'd give tav a rest and give the best prospect Scotland has seen in a long time a game. Not rocket science mate. And for what it's worth I'd play Patterson over tav every week as I consider him to be a better player.

Dundee should have been charged under the trades description act for their performance. Not what you want going into a European game. Good to sakala getting game time even though he forgot his shooting boots. Bassey is impressing with every game he plays too. Only real disappointment is that Patterson isnt getting any game time. It's an absolute travesty hes continually sitting on the bench given his talent. Hes more than proved himself and it sends out a clear message to everyone at the academy that they dont have a chance in hell of ever making the first team.

Think we need to let go of the past and look to the future. That's what I'm doing. If we continue on the same vein well end up like the scum on the other side of the city. I dont want that.

Being top of the spfl is no gauge of how good a team we are. We found that out when we got horsed out the CL qualifiers ar the beginning of the season. I suggest quite a few in here take a reality check. Our squad is no where near good enough for the CL and does need a major rebuild if were going to compete. But hey if your happy watching mediocre football and hope were going to click the next game fill your boots. I'd much rather start the rebuilding now than wait till next summer. By then quite a few of our players will be leaving wether we want them to or not. Goldson is off. Kamara and hagi will be close behind and I wont be surprised if they go at the next transfer window. Barasic kent and aribo wont be here after the summer either. Davis will surely be retiring as will mcgregor. Gio has a big job on his hands. Probably bigger than he imagined after watching them in the flesh much like gerrard we too many players that have ran their course at the club and need to move on.

I went for bassey. Hes turning g into a player in my eyes. I wont fault kent for his effort but hes labouring when it comes to the final pass.

Just watched the game and we were terrible. Most off the pace again. Problem we have is that we need kent to be on his game, other wise we struggle. He showed signs of his form when he came back from Injury but hes labouring at the minute. Again no leaders on the park. The midfield of kamara davis and aribo fills me with dread everytime I see it on a team sheet. We get very little return from this midfield. The odd goal from aribo no matter how fine and skillfully a player he is is just not good enough. Side passes and back passes from the other two, no vision whatsoever ever. Ill go as far to say Davis should be retired and hope kamara is sold off next window. We cant continue with the pub team performances were served up on a regular basis. And we wont get anywhere doing the same thing time and time again and expecting things to get better the next time round.

Main thing is were in the next stage. Plenty of positives to take from last night as well. We could have scored 8 or 9 last night, disappointed that we never took the chances but at least were making them in the first place. Good to see a real sense of urgency in our gameplay too. Good start grom our new manager!

Absolutely gutted with the team selection. So much for the big changes. Same under achievers who have dragged us down all season.
