  1. The Kabadayi one is a prime example of the nonsense spouted by the mhedia. Without a shred of evidence that we were really interested in buying this guy, no confirmation from selling club of a bid, nothing from our side either, just all made up and speculation, then when they are all proven wrong and the player joins a different club, they lead with "Rangers miss out on..." instead of we were wrong.
  2. Spain 2 Germany 3 France 1 Portugal 0 England 2 Switzerland 1 JOKER Holland 2 Turkey 1
  3. I see that agent supposed leaked message shows Cantwell at 8.5M Euros, that is a decent starting price as long as we get add-ons. We must stop thinking of our players values (not you personally per se) in terms of how they have performed with us, but more in terms of what teams are willing to pay. Do you think for a moment any fan of Dessers previous club thought he was worth £3M or whatever it was reported we paid? Not a chance but there is always some mug out there with deepish pockets willing to pay to get a profile in. This is the way the bheasts have supposedly done it for years, getting way over the odds (allbeit with media help to inflate prices) for players they dont want anymore. This has to be the model for us. We should not be happy with £3.5M for Lammers, he was Dutch top league scorer FFS, anyone looking at that from England would start bidding at £20M!!
  4. Evening Times can give the Rhebel a run for its money most of the time. What used to be a good balanced paper with pro-Rangers and pro-timmy pages is now much less balanced as well as a massive deterioration in quality. The Herald has always been a timmy rhag. H&H and SC need to do what they need to do to earn a living now they are exclusively in the media business, but they need to be aware that by going onto a Herald/Times production they are damaging their own reputation by association. I will continue to avoid methinks.
  5. I seen the article proclaiming the departure of the latest incumbant and my first thought was there will be a new 26th post in the PQ thread coming soon!! Like you and no doubt most who observe this thread, I have absolutely no doubt that the incoming replacement will almost certainly be of Irish descent, with Timmy leanings. No other candidates will be considered worthy, and Rangers supporters will see no change in coverage or balance.
  6. Is the Rangers Review not just the journos that write for the well known Rangers-hating piece of trash known as the daily Rhebel? I am sure I heard that somewhere, and on that basis I have never read or looked at anything it says as it will be utter garbage, but see it being quoted or referred to as some sort of fans media, which I am assuming it is not.

  11. Jesus Christ @CammyF a bit of warning before you post something like that please. PTSD is a real thing you know!
  12. He wouldnt make my top 5 for POTY as he has only performed for a couple of months which coincided with when the contract negotiations started. I really dont want any of the 9 out of contract players retained, although I would agree Lundstrum has contributed slightly more than most on that list. We must clear up the wage bill to make way for new recruits, and probably sell 2-3 players on top of that to provide a budget for transfer fees.
  13. We should be objecting to this in the strongest way possible. This blatant cheat cannot be allowed to determine who gets what game and influencing promotions only to the right "kind" to class 1. They are absolutely rubbing our noses in it with how much control of our game they have. It is little wonder they have won 12 out of 13 titles.
  14. I see a few mentioning lists that need to be away this summer and I cant argue with most of it, but those wanting Tav away (I think it is the right time myself too) are going to be disappointed. This is the end of Tav's 9th season with us, meaning next season is his 10th and I know there is already a testimonial committee set up and working on a series of events for next year. Given how lucrative this is, plus he and his family are settled here, there is absolutely no chance he is going to be away this year. The 9 who are out of contract all have to leave, plus we just have to sell 3-4 players for good money to pay for the rebuild. We may also have to allow a couple to leave for free (Goldson) as their wages are out of sync with their contributions. I found it interesting in PC's presser yesterday that he was certain there would be huge changes in the medical department and that may of course include sports science as he is clearly very unhappy at the information and/or quality of work he is getting from them. He believes the injuries cost us the title and he is obviously unhappy at the support staff in this area.
  15. I noticed that Ryan Jack was not included in the 11 mentioned as being out for tonight. Does this mean he might actually be fit? Or just that he has already "left the building" and isnt even included anymore in PC's thoughts?
  16. With 5 goals and 4 assists in 28 games this season, Cantwell has massively under-performed. His stats are here on ESPN: https://www.espn.com/soccer/player/_/id/243380/todd-cantwell
  17. If only this was August and not 4 games from the end.
  18. No matter the personnel, we have to start the game with the right mindset, not scared of the occasion, not allowing our opponents to settle into the game, or even worse get a lead in the game, and an early goal would be a huge weight off the collective mindset, but to do that we need to be tight on it. It will be absolutely no surprise how Killie line up and play, we have seen them and McInnes an awful lot and it never changes, so it really is up to us to force the issue right from the start. Of course we will know by tomorrow evening if Hearts have managed to get us back into the title race or not, my guess is not, but that could have an influence on the atmosphere if the result is a positive one. Overall I really want to see a change in mindset from recent games, we have looked scared and negative since the Motherwell defeat and PC has to find a way to get them confident again.
  19. Very interesting, but not surprising, that the official list of errors includes the following; Rangers 2-1 Aberdeen (6/02/24): VAR intervention was correct, but final outcome should have been yellow card to Rangers' Dujon Sterling. Referee retained his on-field decision of a red card. Kilmarnock 1-2 Rangers (28/2/24): VAR should have recommended an on-field review. Final outcome should have been penalty decision, which led to Kilmarnock opening the scoring, overturned - no handball offence against Rangers. Hearts 2-0 Celtic (3/3/24): VAR should have recommended an on-field review. Penalty decision should have been overturned - no foul and no penalty should have been awarded to Celtic. Hearts 2-0 Celtic (3/3/24): On-field decision correct, no penalty to Hearts. Handball should not have been awarded for spot-kick that led to opening goal. All 4 wrong decisions go either against Rangers or for Celtic in big games at crucial times. It is not at all surprising that of these 4 incidents of cheating, Don Robertson is responsible for 3 of them, with Dickenson the other cheat in charge. Surely we must ensure we do not have to put up with either in any capacity for the remaining 4 games?
  20. Thought this would be the unanimous award this time, Butland was the star man by a country mile, with only Diamande of the outfield players looking not scared of the weight of the occasion.
  21. Really dont see the point of having these awards dos when there is a month to go of the season and all the important games still ahead of us. Apart from it being yet another way to fleece the fans of course. And as for Goldson winning some sort of achievement award, it makes a mockery of the whole event. A bit like when Ricksen & Hartson were joint POTY in 2005 when neither player was in the top 5 best players at their clubs.
  22. When it gets to the business end of the season you must hit form and have a run of consecutive wins. We have picked up 4 points from the last 12, and 1 of those was a 93rd minute equaliser. It is safe to say we are in anything but good form. I was saying to all that I believed we had to win the OF game at Ibrox to have any chance of the title, and I took very little comfort from our plucky draw as with 5 of the last 7 games away including the piggery and Tynecastle I thought we would struggle. Turns out we have blown it in the easiest of the remaining fixtures which I didn’t see coming at all so it will take a turnaround of Helicopterian proportions to prevent the bheasts getting into the expanded money spinning CL next season and have a gloating summer.
  23. I heard the Perth rumour a few days ago, it’s going to be closed doors and announced on Tuesday if there is any more rain, or indeed rain still forecast for Wednesday by then. I also think, and this is just my guess, that now Dundee have earned top 6, we will be scheduled to play them away again but they are going to have to play their remaining home games at Perth, but there will be fans allowed to the post split games.
  24. Can’t argue with that, but there are not many that fit the bill in our budget! I’d be happy with ABG (anyone but Goldson)!
  25. Agreed. Dundee will be reminding the powers that be of the favour done 3 years past in email-gate.
