  1. I note we have concluded with two loans. I believe they have been secured by the Bank of Santander and Airdrie Savings Bank?
  2. It's a Mystery. A wee timeline will help here. 1. February'23 -Stuart Kettlewell succeeds Steve Hammell as Motherwell Gaffer. 2. February'23 - Richard Foster appointed Chief of Coaching at Motherwell. 3. 18th March'23 - Motherwell 2 Rangers 4 at Fir Park. 4. evening of 18th March'23 - Richard Foster is a pundit on BBC Scotland's Sportscene. He complains long and bitterly about two decisions from that afternoon's game. Slattery should not have been the subject of a second yellow card on the 76th minute and Todd Cantwell's goal in the 62nd minute should not have stood because Sakala was offside in the build up. Both decisions were subject to VAR, Slattery backhanded Cantwell during the tackle and the lines were drawn proving Sakala was in line with the last Well' defender. Foster suggested the VAR lines were crooked in favour of the Rangers player. 5. Sunday afternoon 19th March'23 - Well' Gaffer, Stuart Kettlewell appeared on BBC Scotland's Sportsound and was led by Host, Richard Gordon in accepting, "Todd Cantwell cheated and hoodwinked the Referee". Further, Kettlewell demanded an explanation from the SFA's Ref' supremo. 6. 23rd March'23 - Kettlewell has said meeting and accepts both Refereeing decisions were correct. 7. 17th August'24 - Well's Chief of Coaching, Richard Foster is doing co-commentary duties for BBC Scotland's coverage of the Rangers v St Johnstone League Cup tie at Hampden. He loses his discipline over Dessers goal, claims it should not stand and rubbishes the VAR explanation which proves the timing of the Ref's whistle. 8. 24th August'24 - Richard Foster appears on BBC Scotland's Sportsound to relate he now accepts the Refereeing decision to allow Dessers goal and the VAR explanation. 9. 26th August'24 - the SFA charge Richard Foster(remember, he is 'Well's Chief of Coaching) with contravening Disciplinary Rule 77. 10. Hearing set for 11th September'24. Exhausting isn't it? Richard Foster's big error was threefold. He claimed Dessers fouled the Saints defender, he didn't. He claimed the Ref' blew his whistle for the supposed foul, he didn't. He rubbished the VAR explanation of the Ref's whistle being blown after the ball hit the net, "lies, it's a lie, unless he puts the whistle to his mouth for no reason". Foster's regular BBC Scotland colleague, Michael Stewart was reading from the same script on Premier Sports live coverage of the game, made the same claims. He is not being charged because he has no official designation at a Scottish club but, he hates Rangers just as much as Rangers. I am positive there must be a connecting reason? This thread is testament to the long running continuing problem the national broadcaster has with both Rangers and Rangers supporters. In the last few months, PQ has issued three apologies on matters Rangers. This adds to the dozens of sorries over the last twenty-odd years. It does NOT happen with any other club. Why do senior Producers at PQ allow, encourage and facilitate incidents such as performed by Foster? Here is the real rub, both broadcast and print media have highlighted and reported the SFA's charging of Foster apart from one, BBC Scotland. It has been two days since the charge and BBC Scotland has made no reference to something it facilitates on a regular basis. Truly, it's a mystery?
  3. Rumour Mill at One. The BBC has sacked Jermaine Jenas because he sent inappropriate text messages to a fellow Auntie employee. Jenas admits the charge and accepts the chastisement. The rumour mill turns and apparently the specifics of inappropriate behaviour centre on a photograph of a dismembered member, a study in tumescence, a large veiny horror or definitively, the BIG Dick. There may be children viewing the forum thus I will refrain from posting said photograph of BBC Scotland's Richard Gordon.
  4. Before ra Sellik had even played a match, they had purchased the original Sellik Park and constructed two grandstands. The first game to happen on the ground was an exhibition match between Hibs and Renton. In the aftermath of the game, Sellik signed the better halves of both sides before playing their first match against Rangers reserves(the Swifts). Remember, Scottish football had been on the go for a quarter of century and was firmly amateur. Did the cash rich club that could afford their own ground and two grandstands offer all those Renton and Hibs players an incentive to sign? We should be told.
  5. Living la Vida Loca. It is a quarter of a century since Puerto Rican prancer and warbler, Ricky Martin achieved the number one spot with his take on enduring a mad world. It is appropriate mood music for all Rangers supporters who continue to exercise patience whilst PQ takes truth on another crazy journey. It is a quirk of our fate that Ricky Martin or, Ricky and Martin performed a choreographed rant on the latest manufactured controversy. Ricky Foster and Martin Dowden seized the penalty to Rangers narrative. Richard Foster has turned out for Rangers on 53 occasions over two spells at the club, including a couple of appearances in the Champions League. Ricky took our money and never misses an opportunity to run to the national broadcaster and articulate disbelief. Eighteen months ago, he was appointed Chief of Coaching at Motherwell and after Rangers visited Fir Park he rushed into the Sportscene studio to vehemently disagree with two refereeing decisions. 'Well midfielder, Callum Slattery received a second yellow for backhanding Cantwell and Ricky did not accept the drawn VAR lines proving Sakala was onside for the concluding goal. This particular PQ crazy journey to the truth took a week. Big Dick provided further interference on Sportsound the next day when he led 'Well Gaffer, Stuart Kettlewell with the line, "Todd Cantwell cheated and hoodwinked the Referee". Kettlewell was invited to Hampden to discuss both decisions and he accepted both decisions were correct. A similar trip began on Saturday. Ricky thought Dessers fouled the Saints defender, Sanders then, he heard a whistle which he ventured stopped play. Good Sellik man, Martin Dowden penned the PQ website piece(it remains up today, Wednesday), "Controversial opener helps Rangers past St Johnstone". It has been Edited a couple of times but still contains the lines, "Dessers tangled with Sanders, Referee Mathew MacDermid seemed to give that as a foul" and, "St Johnstone were furious when the goal was ultimately awarded as they clearly felt play had been stopped by the Referee". Ricky leads, Martin reinforces la Vida Loca. Another good Sellik man, Kheredine Idessane has penned a second concluding piece for the website today, "St Johnstone accept no whistle before Dessers goal". Saints asked for a Hampden meeting, attended and after hearing the audio from the incident, are satisfied that no breach of VAR protocol took place. Where does this leave Ricky and Martin? Regular Rangers Hater in Chief, Michael Stewart was doing co-comms on Premier Sports for the game and unsurprisingly he deemed Dessers had fouled Sanders. We know the former Sellik TV Pundit sees himself as the Jiminey Cricket of Scottish football. I suspect both Ricky and Martin heard the Ginja Ninja giving it, "a little (dog) whistle"? Upside, inside out We're livin' la vida loca.
  6. Absolutely. Yesterday, the bigger picture could NOT be viewed by an element within our support. The St Johnstone SLO(Supporters Liaison Officer), a middle aged lady was attacked outside Hampden as she carried the 'away' supports drum. She was knocked to the ground and the drum was carried off. Today, a 22 year old Rangers supporter has been arrested in connection with the offence. I hope he is charged with both assault and theft(I have viewed the video). An element of our support is not content with shooting themselves in the foot, they insist on shooting themselves in both feet then, shooting themselves in the head.
  7. A good month for Hutchesons' Grammar School for Boys'. It would appear Rangers are about to appoint a former pupil, Andrew McKinlay as our next Chief Executive. Another former pupil, Humza Yousaf was asked by BBC Scotland what he would be doing if he was not First Minister for Scotland? Humza replied, "probably Chairman of Sellik". Well, since Humza is no longer FM, I take it he is Chair at ra Stade de Gadd?
  8. The surprise here is that we as Rangers supporters are surprised. Sellik and their support have a monopoly on history. They enter agreements only to revert to type by insisting upon their preferred revisionism. Sellik are playing to the gallery by flagging safety concerns, knowing their friends in both print and broadcast media will reinforce those concerns. The Green Brigade are lauded for their Pig Watch banners, they vet the Police officers that work their section. The next campaign coming down the line is Asbestos Watch, the ground is being prepared.
  9. I remember a lecture at Staff College on, 'Objective Appreciation'. I had endured umpteen lectures on the subject but, it was being intensified as we moved from the heading, 'Aim' to, 'Mission Statement' in the orders process. A simple aim ie to attack and destroy the enemy at grid reference 12345678 was being replaced with possible multi-paragraphs on achievable aims. I was confused; however a Sapper Colonel simplified it by explaining it was semantics because you can only play the hand you are dealt. Clement was dealt a most poor hand, a host of over payed players in a largely ageing team had to be moved on. He began by bluffing his hand, signing younger players in Cortes, Diamonde and, Barron then suffered a run of injuries in Jack, Cortes and, Raskin. Refereeing decisions in the more important games have been largely prejudicial in a constant environment of penalty to Rangers. Last night's howler was truly awful and Ridvan's injury looks medium to long term. I suspect we have not experienced the nadir, it looks like more bad times await? In twelve years, we have had twelve Gaffers, six permanent and six temporary. The longest lasting was Gerrard, lasting three and a half years. He delivered the League title and the base for considerable Euro success. Continuity is important and I believe the Belgian deserves time to turn it around. As a support, we must NOT lose our discipline, if we want to vent then voice concerns to both the club Chairman, John Bennet and his Board. They are the folks tasked with improving the Gaffer's hand.
  10. The stated team leaves me most worried. Sincerely, I hope my fears are unfounded. However, I am taking position behind the sofa and have decided to view through cupped hands and crossed fingers.
  11. Prick of Conscience. Saturday's Sportsound on BBC Radio Scotland went all Jiminy Cricket, providing an insight into Michael Stewart's conscience. Mentioning Jiminy Cricket in the same sentence as Michael Stewart is harsh on the former as Michael only possesses one dimension, hatred of all things Rangers. Of course, the national broadcaster provides Michael with the perfect platform and, is comfortable apologising again for his latest vile outburst. Michael will be the happy recipient of much congratulatory backslapping from his PQ colleagues. So, Saturday pre-match and there is a general studio discussion on Rangers preseason. It is well documented, our defence aka the sieve could not keep weans out of a close, conceding ten goals in four games. Further, we know Todd Cantwell has not featured because the Gaffer confined him to the B squad after his transfer request. Michael saw his opportunity : "I think it's dependent on the actual character. If he is regarded as a good lad and a strong member of the team, personally I would hope he can be persuaded in his mind to hang about. If he is a bit of a prick and you don't really like him, then maybe you are thinking to yourself, 'I don't want him in the dressing room and would rather he left". Host, Kenny Macintyre immediately apologised and asked for no repetition but, was countered by Michael, "there's nothing wrong with that, surely Kenny"? I suspect the show's Producer had a heads up on Michael's desire to compare Cantwell with an appendage and, the lone Ranger rushing to apologise made it all the more delicious? Whether we think Todd shows more desire to be a social media influencer as opposed to an effective midfielder is NOT the point. We can agree with the sentiment but, we must accept none other than a Rangers player would be the subject of such a comparison on an early afternoon chat on BBC Radio Scotland. Children would be listening and Kenny Macintyre can be relied upon to assuage those concerns of profanity but, the temptation for Michael and the Gang Hut was too much. They exercised their collective moral sense of what is right and what is wrong. Certainly Sportscene's Producer, Eamonn Donohoe rewarded Michael with his place on the panel with former Sellik full back, Mark Wilson. It is a Celtic state of mind.
  12. Yesterday at Tynecastle, once again a three-four grouping of Rangers supporters displayed a blue banner with a white cross proclaiming, 'No Surrender'. The four quarters had a Rangers crest, a death head's symbol with inter-city pupils, the number 936(Inter-City Firm) and, a Mussolini quote, "expand or perish". From memory, I believe this is the third occasion that such a flag containing stated symbolism has appeared in our away support? I am sure those displaying will attempt to articulate a homage to a forty-odd year old casual gang - the Inter-City Firm; however, the flag is a disgrace. I would urge the Club to condemn the flag and unequivocally state there is no place for such symbolism among our support. What is the motivation for unfurling a banner containing the Rangers crest and the cap badge of Heinrich Himmler and his dedicated SS Panzer Division? Self Policing Loyal RSC.
  13. Finally, a slice of good news. Clement's extension of contract shows the Board in a better light. Stability, continuity and, ongoing confidence. Remember, it took Gerrard three seasons of building to put together a league championship winning team. I believe if we give this Gaffer time, he will deliver. Patience!
  14. John Bennet's problem is communication - say what you mean, mean what you say. His dedication is not in question. I suspect he knows he has an issue with communication because we did not hear from him for a period just in excess of 18 months. When he did speak, he exhibited a lack of confidence. There was a halting insecurity, interrupted by recoveries littered with repetition and, a loss of foresight to consequences. Saying Rangers have been in difficulties before but did not fold was every Sub-Editors dream, he wrote their desired headlines. He recognises his communication problem, why has he not engaged with someone to do his presentation? I worked with a number of General officers who knew what they wanted but could not articulate their desires clearly. They knew it and brought in a Chief of Staff who could present the plan.
  15. There is a large open air summer music festival held each year in Larkhall, most popular with flautists. I am sure Robin will be boppin' in Larkie.
  16. My expectations for the coming season are heat and light. I suspect early January will be welcomed by an Ibrox fire festival. A procession of whirling fireballs and tooled up Vikings leading the Rangers Board to a longship moored to a stake secured on the centre spot. They will be piped(a lament) aboard, the flaming arrows will fly and, the cheers will echo around the Stadium. Extra Crispy Loyal RSC.
  17. "It's all for six hundred seats". Above is Susie McCabe's concluding statement on the current Copland Road stand development, this after a five minute rant where she explained the purpose and responsibilities of a Project Manager. I attended the Club AGM in early December'22 and compiled a report for Gersnet, I have replicated the fourth paragraph. Andrew Dickson presented Rangers prescribed plans for Disability by itemising the following : 1. the historical demand. 2. the desire to create the best provision in the UK, an exampler to the Disabled supporter. 3. the development deemed necessary for the wheelchair bound supporter. 4. a project team consisting of architects, engineers and, the Disabled supporters grouping had been assembled to oversee the development. 5. some existing season ticket holders will be displaced to accommodate the newly created wheelchair spaces. 6. over 1,000 seats will be cleared to create 162 anchorages plus attendants. 7. 1,800 new seats will be realised by extending the lips of the upper tiers of three stands. 8. the Ibrox capacity will increase by 727. 9. the necessary disabled toilets, kiosks and, lifts will be installed. 10. resolution 8 is required to raise the capital to fund the project. This information is publicly available, the AGM was minuted. The public broadcaster has NOT bothered it's arse to view it because if it is accurate, it would have to be objective. These last three weekends, we have endured three separate discussions on the Copland stand reconstruction and, not one has even touched on the reasoning behind the works. First up was a forty minuted diatribe between Liam McLeod and Tom English, next was the Diversity Twins of RAB and Tam riffing for a couple of hours on Lego and wherever I lay my hard hat, that's my home. Finally, Susie the epitome of Yahoo chic pulled on her cloak of expertise. It is an approach from ra PQ CSC we as Rangers supporters are most familiar with; Angela Haggerty is a, 'Financial Expert', Mark Daily is a, 'Legal Consultant' and Susie has, 'Project Management experience'. In fact we know Susie is a time served Spark and worked as an Estimator in various construction site offices because she insists on telling us so, constantly. Oh and at the Euros she informed, "ah wis sharing a table wae Martin and Wullie". I have no doubt Haughey and Compston contributed their expertise too. A litany of BBC Scotland projected expertise? Susie got one thing correct, her faux concern for the Rangers season ticket holders who were sold their briefs in the expectation they would be seated at Ibrox. As Rangers supporters, we are well used to such confidence trickery. We pay our BBC License Fee and receive a much reduced service in contrast to the supporters of other Scots clubs, we cannot even expect accuracy. If you Google Susie, you will find historical social media outputs where she has referred to the disabled in derisory terms and lots of references to Rangers and Rangers supporters utilising the 'H' term. I blame the PQ's Producers for allowing Susie in her heightened excitement to rush to sink the boot in. It is illuminating listening to a self proclaimed Lesbian exhibit her desire for premature ejaculation. I am on record as stating the Rangers Board have made a rip roaring arse of this project, not one iota of work should have been allowed to start without all necessary materials in situation. They deserve all and every opprobrium but, Susie's easy swing of the boot does what society does more often than not ie ignores the disabled.
  18. There is a young guy in the States who no longer has any use for his high powered sniper scope. Obviously, a good optic that facilitates nicking an ear lobe at 120 metres in windy conditions. From the back of Hampden, this scope will guarantee you a good view of the nearest goalmouth, just.
