I was impressed with the organisation behind the demonstration. The litter clean up at the end was a nice touch. Strathclyde Police have again stated the demonstration was well conducted and peaceful. Further, I noted Ian Small, BBC Scotland's Head of Public Policy and Corporate Affairs spent 10 minutes at the window on the second top floor, hands on hips. Then, he took out his mobile and began to move it back and forth to focus; he was filming events below. I wonder if the clip will appear on various Sellik supporters' websites?

Are our fans right to challenge BBC Scotland?
26th of foot replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I have spent the last two weeks in Spain. I watched BBC Newsnict on Wednesday night where the discussion being chaired by Gordon Brewer was the extent of the historical hatred between the SNP and the Labour party. The political contributor was former Labour party spin doctor, Gerry Hassan. He is a regular contributor across BBC Scotland's broadcast output. Anyways, Gerry is anxious to articulate a point that the SNP hate the Labour party more than vice-versa. He illustrates this point by twice stating, "it's like this, we know Rangers supporters hate Celtic fans more than vice-versa, the arrest and conviction figures prove it". As stated, he said this twice in a minute of conversation with Brewer, and St Modan's educated Gordon did his objective best by absolutely NOT challenging the statement. It appeared clumsy and badly rehearsed. Further, it was completely inappropriate to the topic.- 50 replies

Rangers fan MacMillan says Whyte claims 'disturbing'
26th of foot replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Listening to Robert Burns last evening, I thought he must be really pissed off at the Procurator Fiscal/Crown Prosecution Service ie he and his staff have compiled the relevant facts and presented them to the PF/CPS and they have failed to act appropriately. When Mark Daly enquires what sanctions could have befallen Craig whyte, Robert Burns tells us he could have faced two years in jail. There is NO TRACE that any evidence was passed to the PF/CPS by Burns and his team. To sum up, thirty-two years past, I bought a Capri JPS and spent several minutes on the M6 travelling in excess of 100 mph. If a CPS had received a report I could have served 6 months in jail. Or, if Zero Tolerance had compiled a report on Neil Lennon's textual threatening of his abandoned pregnant girlfriend, then the Lurgan Lout could have been a guest of Her Maj' for a year or so.- 22 replies

Protest against BBC Scotland - Saturday 5th November
26th of foot replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I will attend too. I have become increasingly convinced these last several years that there is a grouping of Producers and Editors at BBC Scotland determined to portray our club and support in the most negative light at every opportunity. The Panorama piece is not the reason I will be participating, it's the constant attacks over all aspects; news ... sports .... current affairs .... light entertainment ..... etc .... I can highlight this be mentioning our Champions League trip to Barcelona a few seasons back. Twenty-five thousand Bears travel, it's the single biggest travelling support for a CL group match. There is NOT a single arrest. Scott McMenemy(Mince) from Sellik Minded lives in Barca, he is upset the Bears do not misbehave. He contacts a local Catalan politician, gets a statement reference the extent of litter in the Place de Catalunya, contacts his mate and BBC Scotland Producer, Martin Connachan ............... it becomes a topic of conversation on Tom Morton's afternoon music show ie terrible Rangers supporters blighting the beauty of Barca .......... becomes second lead on BBC Scotland's news. I ask, what is BBC Scotland's motivation? -
The former high heid yin of ra Sellik North American Yahooery is Ray McKinney, he claims to be the source of much of the financial analysis. I suspect he is a conduit for a sympatheTIC bean counter because McKinney's qualifications are in Engineering. Typically of those steel toe-cap wearing and pocket calculator toting types, he probably enjoys flicking his tongue at an abacus. I imagine the blog is a collective work, Scott McMenemy(aka Mince) will pull a few things together, Donegal mountain rescue's leading light, Phil McStupidname will contribute his contacts, and various other usual suspects.

I was listening to Radio snyde last evening on my way over to Ibrox. The Objective Host of ra Show, Jim ra Tim Delahunt and Mark the Slug Guidi were lionising Mark Daly. He was described as, "an investigative journalist of the highest standard". I should point out that 3-4 weeks past, Jim ra Tim Delahunt described Donegal based Phil McGillivan as, "an investigative journalist that has built his own substantial platform". I suspect Mark Daly like Brendan O'Hara, Dermot O'Hara, Joan McAlpine MSP, Phil McGillivan, Pat Kane, ....................... etc; has strong long term links with a particular strain of Yahooery within the ranks of the SNP. Michael McCann is clearly hinting so!

Back in the day, Nil by Mouth's first full time organiser was Helen Miller. We are talking 8-9 years past. A well kent poster on a number of Rangers forums sent off two letters to Helen, one saying he was a Rangers supporter subjected to sectarianian abuse, the other purporting to be a Sellik fan suffering similar distress. He received a reply to the latter correspondence with alacrity, informing him of the necessary action. Months later, he had still NOT received a reply as a Rangers supporter; despite constant reminders. Things have not changed, NBMs funding was going to be discontinued by the SNP administration. There was an outcry from the usual suspects. Funding re-established and Nil by Mouth is actively engaged in compiling the desired statistics required by the ;ord Advocate. Sectarianism is a one way street, they are determined to prove it so.

G4S has previous, let's go back to the norious Neil Lennon attempted assault at Tynecastle last May. John Wilson was charged with both Aggravated Breach and Assault on evidence soley provided by G4S Operations Director, Peter Croy. The 61 year old was the only person to hear Wilson utter sectarian insults during the attempted assault of ra Sellik manager. There were more than a couple of dozen folks in a 10 meter vivinity of ra Sellik technical area and no one heard what Peter Croy says he heard. Further, why was an Operations Director at the mouth of the tunnel? Surely, his place is in the police Operations Box, monitoring and assessing the constant flow of information? However slender this unsupported evidence was, and it was gossamer thin; the Lord Advocate, Frank Mulholland and the PF decided to prosecute to achieve a desired result. The Jury saw through this and returned the appropriate verdict. Has G4S's Peter Croy been subjected to a police report reference perjury? G4S has been found to be less than credible.

BBC Investigative Documentary on RFC/Craig Whyte confirmed
26th of foot replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Yep, that's him. I suppose I am appealing for a bit of perspective. I was listening to BBC Radio Scotland after the Hibs game and Jim Spence threw in a startling piece of information, 'in excess of 50 of the 92 English clubs have experienced Administration'. The panel of Michael Grant, Chris McLaughlin, and Chico Young glossed over this fact, actually they ignored it because it did not suit. There is an air of triumphalism at BBC Scotland, it's as if they are all off on a cerebral walk down ra Garvaghy Road. Mark Daly's piece is an exercise in keeping the pot boiling. HMRC are due to reveal their findings early November, whipping up righteous public opinion could easily influence last minute decision making. BBC Scotland are working hard on the mood music surrounding Rangers. -

Mark Daly hail hails from Clydebank, he and his family are all Yahoos. Further, he appears to be in regular contact with McGillivan in Donegal. At the beginning of September, Phil Bhoy lost his discipline in a tweet, stating Bears will be in meltdown on and after the evening of the 20th October. I suspect Daly's findings will have been circulated to the usual suspects by late August. I think we have to find a way as a support to express NO CONFIDENCE in either accuracy or objectivity relating to our club, by any reports emanating from BBC Scotland. -
Ian1964, Thanks for that, the Sun's take on the meeting varies quite startingly from BBC Scotland's TV report last evening. We were shown footage of ra Paisley patterned pasta Bishop and Peter Kearney(remember he wants the hokey-cokey banned) alighting the steps of Bute House, smiling hugely with the voice over informing, "the catholic church have won concessions from the First Minister". The ever on message BBC Scotland newsroom getting all triumphalisTIC? I will say it again, anyone had an opportunity to vote for ra Bish' and mad Peter?

Wednesday night on Radio Snyde's SuperscoreboardXtra was truly embarrassing. Really, they have no shame, an hour of broadcasting handed over to promote a pointless tome. Hosted by Objective Host of ra Show, Jim Delahunt, Nuremberg Hugh and the Slug Guidi(he penned said tome) made up the Yahoo-fest panel. Christmas is coming and every bhoy and ghirl should have the Sutton stocking filler. Nuremberg piggy-backed the original piece off Sutton's appearance. A real back slapping Yahoo cabal getting their snouts in the trough. Chris is big on responsibility, demanding the current Sellik Board and players meet their responsibilities to the Lurgan Lout. Interestingly, BIG Chris abdicated his responsiblities to current Evening Times/Herald journo, Alison McConnell and their child. The then Sellik View cub reporter lay down faster than a Pars team facing Rangers in a championship decider, and Chris took advantage faster than Jim Torbet in an under elevens' dressing room. I am sure the Slug Guidi has included Chris's full scoring exploits in the book?

Before I clicked the link, I assumed this 'story' was penned by Robert McAulay. Hey presto, I am not disappointed. McAulay is a Coatbridge based Rangers hating maggot. A former Sellik 'zine and Yahoo website Editor who has spent a decade trawling Bears' websites looking for anything negative about the club. He has an 'in' at the Sun and often makes the front pages with sensationalist puff pieces. A partner in crime of Donegal based Phil McStupidname.

Republican Rose got all garrulous at the beginning of proceedings, she appeared on BBC Scotland's Newsnicht telling us all that the main concern was NOT anti-sectarianism but anti-catholocism. It's Cardinal O'Brien's "punch a pape" routine by a different presentation. When do we get to vote for Cardinal O'Brien and Bishop Pastasounding name?
-
I read the front page of yesterday's Herald, Falls Road born'n'bred Gerry Braiden told us Bishop Pastasounding name was unhappy, Paul McBride QC has misgivings, and Tom Devine is disappointed. There was also an Editorial pandering to unhappiness, misgivings, and disappointment. I suspect today's and tomorrow's correspondence pages will be more of the supportive same. You have got to wonder about Prof' Devine, he is continually disappointed. Maybe him, Paul McBride QC, and Bishop Pastasounding name can get together of an afternoon for a self-help grouping of menage a trois?

Truly, I am appalled that the matric' card should be current. Whatever happened to the solidarity of the NUS(National Union of Students)? I attended Lectures, Seminars, and regularly got pissed in the Union like everybody else. I paid my dues, I demand said discount.
-
Economics, although I have been known to speak fluent Algebra in the immediate lieu of victories over ra Sellik.
-
I have retained my Matriculation Cards for the University of Strathclyde(1975-79), am I entitled to said discount?

I note the Sun article is penned by Yahoo journo, Paul Hughes. The usual suspects have got after Naisy, the snide articles and comments will continue. However, they will stop if Naisy sees his future elsewhere. Clearly, Naisy is an important player to Rangers future success. On a similar note, I have heard both BBC Scotland's Chris McLaughlin suggesting Naismith is too good for the SPL. Radio Snyde's Hugh Keevins made the exact same statement about Steve Davis on Monday evening. I expect Charlie Ridiculous/John Hartson/Kevin Gallagher/etc to do a piece soonest telling both players and Jela/McGregor to get out of the SPL to achieve their potential.

The Naismith case reminds me a lot of Lorenzo Amoruso's spitting incident with Ayr United's James Grady. Initially picked up by broadcast media, a re-run of an incident that the vast majority had not noticed. The Sky Producer involved was Billy McNeil's son. Radio Snyde went in hard, Bitter Martin said that spitting was the lowest of the low. That Saturday evening's Sportscene had a most interesting studio guest to comment on all that day's Scottish Cup ties, James Grady. The print media reinforced the message on the Sunday and Monday mornings, Amoruso was on a fast track to the Beaks. On Saturday past, Andy walker highlighted Naismith's elbow, Sky's trackside reorter, Bitter Martin asked Steve Davis, Ally McCoist, and Jim McIntyre about the incident in all his post-match interviews. Radio Snyde's first caller was the odious Terry O'Neill from Uddingston wanting to know the procedure for prosecuting Naismith. Terry felt elbowing was as bad as it gets in football. BBC Radio Scotland on Sunday afternoon had a most interesting guest as co-commentator at the St Johnstone/Hearts game, Dunfermline manager, Jim McIntyre. The print media ............ well, you get the idea. As our seperated brethern are wont to sing, 'if you know the history'!

There is YouTube footage of Hooper throwing his left arm, the back of his clenched hand hits Jennings in the face. The Motherwell player goes down holding his face with both hands. Perhaps one of the more technical Gersnetters can provide the necessary link? I concur with your fourth paragraph absolutely.
-
Firstly, I suspect Naismith's two match ban is deserved. Yes, McCann was all over him like a rash, and Naisy apologised immediately; however, throwing the elbow is NEVER the answer. I believe the decision to prosecute Naismith is the responsibility of the Compliance Officer. This particular designation is as yet, not filled. The current CO is a temporary appointment. I have heard twice today, and sincerely I hope this is not true; today's temp' CO was Paul McBride QC. Two points : 1. Why was Gary Hooper's fist in the face of Motherwell's Jennings not sited for the attention of the temp' CO? 2. Who is the temp' CO? We should be told in the interests of transparency.

Police warn against Old Firm-related domestic violence
26th of foot replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I remember a game at ra Stydome in the mid-90s, it was the night Gazza was sent off and Marco Negri scored. I think the game finished 1-1? Anyways, it seemed like every Yahoo in the ground had an A4 card in black and white, emblazoned with a capital 'Z'. The 'Z' stood for, 'Zero Tolerence', a domestic violence campaign group. The point of every Yahoo enthusiasticly embracing such an organisation was the exposure of Gazza's admittance of indulging in domestic violence with his then wife, Cheryl. Five years past, Neil Lennon was on the front page of the News of the World two Sundays running. The story continued inside on pages 4,5, and 6; Neil had abandoned his pregnant girlfriend in favour of another. The woman scorned had kept a copy of all sweet Neil's text messages over the previous couple of months, they numbered in excess of 400. Mostly, they were threatening text messages, quite specific in what his intentions towards a pregnant woman. They included, "I will hurt you", "you will feel pain", and, "I will enjoy your agony". I am sure you agree, Neil sounds a real charmer. If Strathclyde Polis want to really make a difference with their continuing anti-domestic violence campaign, then make it a 'DomesTIC violence' campaign and highlight Neil's past indulgence. Ra Sellik support fully back Lennon, they keep telling us, 'we are all Neil Lennon'. I am sure they mean it, dont they?
