SFA likely to review Sone Aluko penalty award in Rangers win
26th of foot replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
This is exactly the joke made by BBC Scotland's Chief Football Correspondent, Chris McLaughlin on Sunday before the match at Tannadice. -
Apply the same as above ie do Sellik supporters embrace the term, CSCs, 'zine titles, utilised in ra Sellik View? Obviously, none of the above apply, they are terms of derision that encorporate religious reference.

Leggoland - REGAN AND LAWWELL... THE TRUTH -Exclusive
26th of foot replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I believe it's one of these connections things. Stewart Regan is a product of St Bede's rc school in Durham. Both he and Lawwell worked together whilst employed by American brewers, Coors. Regan was officially headhunted for the SFA by Nolan Partners. The founder and owner of Nolan Partners is Paul Nolan, who is a long time friend of Kevin Reid(John Reid's son). Further, Nolan Partners are an official business partner of Sellik FC. I believe Regan was identified and placed at the SFA. -
Tim - A term embraced by Sellik supporters. Proof - Sellik supporters clubs utilise the term eg Texas Tims. Sellik fanzines incorporate the term eg 'Once a Tim'. Ra Sellik View uses it eg the Tim Shields Diary. Tim is a term of endearment. Tim cannot be equated with Hun. Where are the RSCs including the term ie Hamilton Huns RSC or Haddington Huns RSC? They do NOT exist, NEVER have, NEVER will. No Rangers 'zine includes the term and in 35 years of perusing the Rangers News, I have NEVER seen the term included. Hun is a term of derision. Bluenose, Bear, and Billy can be equated with Tim.

The Thunderer, the Spanish Archer, and ra Bhoy in Corduroy.

Well, Lawwell's Laptop Lapdog, Stephen McGowan has just taken over as the blatt's Chief Sports Writer. I am sure Lawwell will demand that ra Sellik's most useful idiot, Graham Spiers is given the means to continue purveying his one sided fantasies. Stephen McGowan, like his colleague in broadcast media, ra BBC Scotland's Chris McLaughlin; never denies Lawwell. -

Spiers used to do a Sports Diary weekly in ra Herald, it was an exercise in lionising and slating his colleagues in both print and broadcast media. An example was Sellik supporting Chief Sports Writer at the Scotsman, Glenn Gibbons. Spiers worshipped at the altar of Gibbons and always referred to him as, "the Great Gibbo". He was beside himself relating Hugh Keevins annointing him as, "the Fenian Baptist", he utilised the soubriquet regularly in print. In effect, he lionised himself. As my old Grandma oft said ,'self praise is no praise'. May I remind Gersnetters, Spiers won the rather contrived Sellik View readers poll for, 'Journalist most objective when dealing with matters Celtic' five years on the trot. -

Jim Traynor is Sports Editor at the Record, Bruce Waddell is the Editor. I cannot see those two offering the Botanical Truth Fairy a gig. I suspect the Scottish Daily Mail might create a position for the Fenian Baptist(a nickname given to the Corduroy One by Hugh Keevins). -
Ra Bhoy in Corduroy is the recipient of a long overdue 'elbow' from the Times. He has got his presentation in first, tweeting this morning that he has decided to accept a generous redundancy package. Further, he is off on a six week holiday. As we all know, Spiers is always determined to sit atop the moral highground. He was unceremoniously shunted out the door at Herald Towers after several years of spitting venom at Rangers and Rangers supporters. It was a surprise when he accepted employment from Papal Knight, Rupert Murdoch. Who would have thought Spiers would have gone for full throated consumation of the considerable Wapping Wedge? Anyways, in the New Year, where will Spiers peddle his corduroy covered arse next? Will ra Sellik View make an honest man of him? We should be told.

I love God's own county, Lanarkshire. Born'n'bred, it's home but it has a flaw. The deepest, darkest county does not have a decent curry house. This necessitates an occasional 40 mile round trip to the west end of Glasgow. Attending University thirty-five plus years past, introduced me to the culinary triumph that is Gibson Street. A thoroughfare that was the perfect sub-continent sandwich. The oldest puryeyor of curry in the country, the Shish Mahal at the top end, the then best, the Koh-i-Noor at the bottom. Neither are still located in Gibson Street, the Shish resides in Park Road and the Koh-i' fell into the River Kelvin a couple of decades ago and moved to Charing Cross. At seven bells last evening, we alighted from the Park Road establisment, entered our vehicle and heard BBC Radio Scoland tell us the good news. Atletico were one up at ra Stade de Gadd. It was half time and the match analysis could wait as Rangers financial results could be discussed. BBC Scotland's Financial Correspondent, Douglas Fraser was brought on to provide a sypnopsis. Then, Richard Gordon turned to Chic Young, yep that Chic Young to interpret the results. I felt a reflux of my bangan pakora as Chico insisted Rangers supporters were anxiously confiding in him and demanding he act as our conduit. Fearlessly, Chico wanted answers(on our behalf) on the date of the club AGM, "it's always at this time of year". Here's me thinking it's usually early Autumn. Anyways, Chico was now unstopable, "I want answers(remember, on our behalf) from Craig Whyte". Such insight from Chico's location ie trackside at the Brendanbowl. Seamlessly, Chico moves on to more comfortable ground, "Celtic don't deserve to be behind". BBC Radio Scotland's other two employees at the ground take their cue, Murdo McLeod tells the listenership, "before the goal, I saw US controlling the game". Wullie McStay chips in with, "WE were providing a high platform". It all concluded with Richard Gordon summarising the half time positions in the group, "OUR group looks like, eh sorry, of course I mean Celtic's group". There you go, in the space of a couple of minutes it was "US", "WE", and "OUR". How far do I need to travel from God's own county to receive accurate and objective broadcasting?

Leggat - lawwell's debt to green brigade ira tributes
26th of foot replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Time for Leggo to name those that are absolutely on message and slave to ra Sellik spin. Who are Lawell's Laptop Lapdogs? Further, who are the preferred Agents? Finally, Lawell's son, Martin. Two years past at his firm's Christmas thrash, what songs was he singing and is there a connection between those songs and him being released a week later? Surely these rumours that Martin was sacked for singing songs in support of terrorists cannot be true, we should be told. -
Leggat - creep's odious defence of green brigade
26th of foot replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
On Saturday afternoon, I tuned into Radio Snyde to receive an update on ra Yahoos game. Jim ra Tim Delahunt(current objective host of ra show) was guffawing as ra Slug Guidi informed him that as yet(20 minutes into the game), Spiers had not arrived at the ground. We were informed that Spiers had experienced a puncture and was on the side of the A9 attempting repair. Jim ra Tim Delahant then adds, "Graham has just tweeted his distress and is hopeful a passing Celtic supporters bus might pick him up". Born'n'bred Rangers supporter Graham Spiers feels comfortable enough to travel aboard a scum bus? I would wager that had it been Rangers up in Inversneckieland on Saturday, he would NEVER transmit such a tweet. Of course, a bus full of bevvied up frothing scum is most probably an acute sexual fantasy of ra Bhoy in Corduroy. -
LEGGAT - DAILY RECORD EDITOR AND BRIAN McNALLY - Exclusive
26th of foot replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The link between the IRA and Facism is well established. The IRA's Chief of Staff, Sean Russell died of blood poisoning whilst aboard a Nazi U-Boat off the west coast of Ireland, in 1942. I remember the obituary of Joe Adams(Gerry's old man), written by former Sellik View Editor and then Herald Deputy Editor, Kevin McKenna. It was published a dozen years past and McKenna kionised the wretch. There was considerable pride in old rancid Joe's WW2 experience. He was THE Luftwaffe's Damage Assessment Officer. After bombing raids on Belfast's shipyards, old Joe would walk the yards, assessing the damage and accuracy, photograph if he could, then get his dispatch off to der Fatherland. Brian McNally(Sean South) is desperate to pull on the fully segged jackboots and stand in the cooling Nordic breeze. -

Leggat - cosgrove's sick durrant joke on bbc
26th of foot replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Cosgrove lost his discipline on Saturday. After the comment to Richard Gordon, he went off on a rant about Team GB in the upcoming Olympic Games. He noted Gareth Bale posing in the proposed strip and wondered aloud, "will Stuart Pearce be able to find a soft Scot willing to participate in Team GB"? He goes round the panel, getting more garrulous and demanding to know if they would participate? Interesting, you are damned if you articulate your comfort at being both Scottish and British. You are "soft", "a sell out", and, "an uncle tom". I have no problem with Cosgrove being a long term SNP member but when he lapses into uber-nationalism, he should be tempered by his Producer. It's easy, Cosgrove is a hypocrite. He is demanding no truck with Team GB whilst broadcasting on the BRITISH Broadcasting Corporation. If it's such a strongly held principle, then he will refrain, won't he? I mean, Stuart Cosgrove PHD, Board member of several utility companies, Channel 4 regional gaffer, ...... etc is a principled bloke, isn't he? -
I think the mobile/communications company 'Orange' could exploit a sympathetic market. Two million quid for Rangers and the undiluted joy of all the usual suspects spitting continual venom.

Leggat - christine grahame and the offensive white poppy
26th of foot replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Zappa, Thank you for the information, much appreciated. My grandfather, like my Great Grandfather, and Father was a serving Officer in Lanarkshire's own regiment, the Cameronians. He served in Flanders during WW1. His best friend from University was from Quaker stock, and when conscription arrived in late 1916, he took the conscientious objecter option as per his beliefs. He completed several months in Flanders as a stretcher bearer, then opted out altogether and accepted a year's hard labour. My Grandfather received a wound and was gassed; however, he always stated that William Heron was the bravest man he knew. -
Leggat - christine grahame and the offensive white poppy
26th of foot replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I listened to an old soldier on BBC Radio 4 the other morning. He is both a former CO of the Kings Own Scottish Borderers and the Special Air Service, Clive Fairweather went on to provide further service in Her Majesty Inspectorate of Prisons. I have provided a soupcon of service too and agreed with Col' Clive as he articulated his preference for the red poppy because he knew all monies raised were administered by the Earl Haig Fund(Scotland). Further, like Clive again, I have no issue with those who either prefer the white poppy or not to wear one at all. The freedom of choice honours those that paid the ultimate sacrifice, they served and fell to guarantee us that choice. Here is my one gripe about the white poppy, where do the monies go? Honestly, I do not know. -
Paul McBride QC has resigned from the Board of Edinburgh Zoo, resigned his membership of the World Wildlife Fund, closed his Squirrel Account at the Bank of Scotland, and is currently in a huff with his bhoyhood teddy bear, Aloyius.

Ach, it's only reciprocation! In 1952, the SFA took the advice of several proposals forwarded by Glasgow Magistrates to curtail increasing violence at old firm matches. The fourth recommendation was for the clubs to avoid displaying flags that cause resentment among opposition supporters. Ra Sellik flew the flag of Eire above the rusting corrugated barrel roof above ra Jungle. The SFA Secretary proposed ra Sellik take down the flag of a foreign country, Hibernian seconded the motion. Sir Bob(currently sucking cocks in hell)Kelly, Chairman of ra Sellik argued against and received fulsome and articulate support from Rangers John Wilson. To this day, ra Sellik's continued flag flutter of ra Irish tricolour is courtesy of Rangers. They owe us, but Phil McStupidname has conveniently forgotten.

These last few years, Salmond's main advisor on all things sectarianism is Joan McAlpine. She was elected as an MSP on the South of Scotland list at the last election. She writes a lot of his speeches. Many Gersnetters will remember that Joan McAlpine was the Deputy Editor of ra Herald for five years. Along with Editor, Mark Douglas-Home and other Deputy Editor, Kevin McKenna; they took the Herald's daily circulation from 115,000 to less than 70,000 in that period. McKenna was a former Editor of ra Sellik View and convert to catholicism, Mark Douglas-Home is married to Daily Mail columnist and Falls Road born'n'bred, Colette Douglas-Home. Other Salmond long term advisors on this matter, are the O'Hara brothers, Brendan and Diarmid. Both are great-grandsons of an original founder of ra Sellik.
