  1. I am driving east on the M8 and tune into Radio Snyde's 17.30hrs evening Sports Desk. Jim(ra Tim)Delahunt leads with up to the minute news of tonight's CL qualifier between BJK FC and FC HJK. Namely, Scottish swimmer, Michael Jamieson's participation in the 200 metre breast stroke final at 19.20hrs will be shown on both screens at ra Stydome. Jim ra Tim informed the listenership, "Michael is a big hoops fan". Anyone else heard the footballing allegiences of any other Team GB member? Well, sincerely I hope Michael wins and emulates David Wilkie's achievement in Montreal'76 in the same event. Further, I hope the big screens at ra Stydome show live coverage of him receiving his gold medal and respectively standing for the National Anthem. Oh, and I hope Jim ra Tim objectively reports the reaction of his fellow Yahoos to the tens of thousands in the Olympic Park chorusing 'God Save the Queen'?
  2. Looks like Stu' has been referred to the Big Bumper Book(Summer Special) of, 'Playing the vicTIM Card'.
  3. Nuremberg Hugh stated on Radio Snyde on Monday evening that he had attended both ra Sellik's pre-season friendlies at ra Stydome and reckoned the crowds were 17-18,000 on both occasions ie Norwich City and Inter Milan. The usual sancTIMoneous Yahoo took the bait and called in with, "I will tell you exactly why there were so many empty seats in both games. Supporters are buying blazers, shoes, and shirts/blouses. The money is going on school uniforms". Amazingly, Nuremberg sited his five grandchildren and Delahunt empathised with the caller. There you go, a collective 86,000 empty seats are down to school uniforms! You couldn't make it up! Actually, they do, all the time.
  4. The Wall Street Journal are only interested in Brechin's HEDGE Fund. I'll get my coat.
  5. I agree, Richard Wilson has been pretty bang on the money in most of his reporting of the ongoing Rangers crisis. Interestingly, he was on Cosgrove and Cowan Saturday last. Smug Stuart was straight in with all the usual snide comments about Wilson being a member of the Laptop Loyal. Wilson dealt with him maturely, "you've already outed me once, how many more times"? Cosgrove kept up the barrage, Wilson accepted his positions as a Rangers supporter and a football journo, and hoped he managed to seperate one from the other in his reporting. Wilson was most comfortable as a Bear, I wish more were like him.
  6. Dearest Peter only has one long arm and that is firmly entrenched up Regan's arse. Neccessity demands he is in the same room as Doncaster to work him from the back. It's all in the best interests of sporting integrity don't ya know.
  7. The HMRC decision was due during November'11. It was moved to February'12. It's almost August'12 and still no decision. Have HMRC acted in the best interests of the public purse? They allowed Whyte to run up a £15million bill in unpaid PAYE and NI contributions between May'11 and February'12. They did not intervene, was this in the best interests of the public purse? I believe the perception within HMRC is that this particular case is TOXIC. It should have been dealt with in a timeous fashion but wasn't, why not? It was put to me that senior management inside HMRC see the case as a PR exercise ie when and how to present failing to recover the owed monies.
  8. I cannot quite figure out if all, any, or none are consequences or punishments?
  9. Abraham Lincoln appointed and sacked several Generals of the Army of the Potomac in the first 2-3 years of the Civil War. The question naturally arose, 'what are you looking for'? He replied, "I'm looking for a General that can do the arithmetic". Arithmetic is both simple and stark. Rod Petrie has been honest, 3,000 season tickets must be at least a 35-40% increase on Hibs normal sales. Compare and contrast with the arithmetic being promulgated by the Dons Trust and Stuart Cosgrove. Those numerate Dandy Dons say a 20,000 crowd at Pittodrie(seriously, does that shit hole have a license to accomodate such numbers) on the first day of the season against Ross County, negates two visits by Rangers. Foghorn Leghorn has stomped all over the Pacific Quay roost these last few weeks telling all that St Johnstone only need to increase their crowds by 165 each game to negate last season's three visits by Rangers. I suspect old Abe would respect Petrie's arithmetic, it smacks of honesty.
  10. Rangers cannot possibly contemplate a Glasgow Cup campaign, ah mean we have a tour of Japan booked. Haven't we?
  11. Well, I suspect the arm constantly portruding from Regan's arse belongs to Peter Lawwell. Thirty years past, the Valentine Brothers wrote and recorded the definitive take on Regonomics, 'Moneys too Tight to Mention'. I wonder if Stu' has been conditioned to refrain, 'did the earth move for you Peter'?
  12. Tannochside, It's a double edged sword for Brown et al. My mate and I are attending as part of the process of elimination. I want to confirm the transient Green is currently the only show in town.
  13. This very morning, a mate telephoned extending an invitation to attend. I will take some notes if anything is noteworthy and produce an overview at some point this evening.
  14. The opportunity for satire here is enormous. Lawwell and ra Sellik sail on serenely as the on message placemen beaver their bidding by proxy. Paul McBride QC was often described as, 'a source close to the Celtic Board". I cannot see why Regan is not similarly labelled? Of course, those with their hands on the levers of satirical production cannot/refuse to see the opportunity. The heat in those green leather comfy seats in the North Stand at ra Stydome anaethetise the collective minds of Pacific Quay CSC. The mantra remains, "Rangers are the establishment club". Anyone for NEWSPEAK?
  15. .................. and to think, BBC Scotland's, Jim Spence lives in Forfar.
  16. Haw Stu', how much more clarity and concensus do you require? Effectively, 35 clubs out of 42 voted to put Rangers into SFL3. Or, to put it another way, 35 clubs voted for you to do one. I believe 86% of the Rangers support voted for the club to go to SFL3. Now, the next time you are on your knees blowing Lawwell's cheese; introduce your clarity and concensus line.
  17. Is this the same Douglas Rae that used to present Magpie with the wonderful Jenny Hanley and Susan Stranks?
  18. You are correct, the Rangers support has been demonised. The result of in excess of 20 years demonisation, is marginalisation. I have listened these last four Saturdays to Jim Spence et al on Pacific Quay CSC Radio. He has had Dougie Alexander(St Mirren), Jim Traynor(Airdrie), Robb McLean(Ross County), Stuart Cosgrove(St Johnstone), Tom English(Sellik), Hugh MacDonald(Sellik), .............................. etc as guests; all discussing Rangers. Spence makes big play on the fans' revolution, he advocates broadcasters and print media should listen in the same way club Chairmen did. The Rangers support overwhelmingly have revolted in favour of SFL3, however Spence does not listen to the Rangers support. Our view does NOT count and will continue NOT to count in Jim's view until we show humility, remorse, and contrition. As stated, marginalised.
  19. The next Kilmarnock/Sellik game should see the home supporters sing : 'Hello, hello, we are your Killie toys'.
  20. I am all for sanctions to be variable and adjustable. Once Peter and his puppet Stu' have their preferred settings, they can stick their sanctions up each other's arse.
  21. Sounds like a jolly for the 50-odd members of the Westminster CSC.
  22. As a matter of the utmost urgency, Rangers MUST disassociate the club and the supporters from Regan's latest unacceptable outburst.
  23. Lawwell will ensure a few crumbs are rolled from the table. Stephen Thompson's Dundee United will be rewarded with a couple of derbies. Dundee FC supporters are guaranteed to fill the away stands at Tannadice, thus United will secure similar income accrued from two games against Rangers.
  24. Regan's reported comments contained in the 11th paragraph are most telling. It's a sinister recognition that Rangers and Rangers supporters are a cash cow. Lawwell and Regan are determined to hobble the cash cow. We get to continue pumping in the dosh to keep the majority of SPL clubs' alive and Peter and puppet Stewart get to keep piling on the sanctions. Sporting integrity?
  25. "on the steps of Hampden" - a bit of placement dramatique? Some Bears should get over there to chorus : I saw a rhat there there on the stairs right there on the stairs a little rhat with a hard on well I declare going clip clipity clop.
