  1. There's the rub. Elmer Fudd arrives and announces a five year plan and it culminates in him walking away with £39million in his back pocket. He is eulogised and lionised at every turn. Sellik = good, Rangers = bad.
  2. Nuremberg Hugh has few bones. Certainly no spine as Lawwell's banning order on him moves into it's fifth week. The Record's Sports Editor, Austin Barret is also a jellyfish; where is the Sports Editorial condemning ra Sellik's control freakery? It's a pastiche from Father Ted, instead of raging and riling against ra Sellik imposed injustice; the Record espouces, 'Careful Now'.
  3. Gordon's piece is just another attempt to get comfortable with the current Rangers situation. Remember, we are dead, deceased, have run down the curtain invisible. The reality is something most different. Both Jim Spence and Stuart Cosgrove have gone silent, for the moment. Like Gordon, they are waiting on the next comfortable analysis of the Rangers situation that sits comfortably with their preferred prejudice. I listened yesterday as Tam Cowan congratulated Green and Rangers for the £i million crossbar challenge. Wee Poisen Pat Nevin interceded with, "but Tam, how can Rangers afford such an amount"? Again remember, the collective Rangers-hating mindset says we are dead. The evidence says something else. Another reason for Gordon's pysh is that he is a Bairns fan and we(the dead team) have just dumped them out of two cup competitions.
  4. As someone who descended stairway 13 a couple of minutes before the Disaster, it is a case of, 'but for the grace of God'. Actually, my old man NEVER saw the end of a game in his life, demanding we leave all games with a few minutes left. Anyways, I am touchy too about that day. Sixty-six folks, including primary schoolboys from Fife attended the football and did not return home. Another almost 200 were injured and the photographs of stairs ilttered with shoes, is imagery that will not disappear. Thomson's first attempt at knowingly pushing the envelope ie tweeting the image of Greig's statue walking away was truly appalling but he was allowed the defence of ignorance. He was allowed on to BBC Radio Scotland and for ten minutes Stuart Cosgrove(Channel Four's Commissioning Editor) hand led him through the mitigation. I wonder if Cosgrove will ride to the rescue again? The sensitivities of Rangers supporters do NOT count. The common currency among Thomson, Cosgrove, McGlone, ............. etc is that the Disaster is a sniggering expression of hate.
  5. Just a wee fact. Rupert Murdoch is a Papal Knight. Who would have thought that Phil McMultiplestupidnames, big, big NUJ mover and shaker would have so willingly got got down on his kness for full throated consumation of the Wapping Wedge?
  6. "someone sent me it as a text and like you would with a joke, I just thought I would pass it on". I seem to remember that Hugh Dallas lost his job for doing the very same thing. Further, I cannot believe all those Belfast Bhoys given it tight to Ally and Charles would be the same sanctimonious prigs that demanded the immediate sacking of Dallas?
  7. The stuff about him running the SNP Youth branch in Baillieston is from his own biographical musings. He boasts that his branch were known as the SNP Provos. He was raised by his mother, his old man deserted the family and returned to the old sod. Perhaps he was known by his maw's maiden name? However, he did attend St Ambrose in Coatbridge; I believe Baillieston is part of said school's catchment area. He was known as Phil Gillivan at St Ambrose.
  8. No, no, and thrice no. Phil should have a nut job.
  9. The fantasist that is Phil McGillivan has utilised THREE names these last two decades. Originally, he hail hails from Baillieston and was named Phil Gillivan. When he organised the Baillieston constituency SNP youth branch, he was Phil Gillivan. He then went on to work in social work. His place of employment was Burgher Street, Parkhead. By now, he was Phil McGillivan. During this period, an elderly pensioner in his care died alone and his body lay undiscovered for over six weeks. Phil McGillivan should have been making weekly checks. Phil McGillivan left his job as a Social Worker due to stress ie he worked his ticket after abdicating his responsibilities. Receiving a settlement, he relocated his family to Donegal and renamed himself, 'Phil Mac Giolla Bhain'. Interestingly, his wife and children left Fantasy Phil. Apparently, Phil is a wife beater. Phil acted in the usual way ie refused responsibility for his odious actions and cited 'depression'. His wife and children use the surname, 'Gillivan'. You couldn't make it up, Phil does, ALL THE TIME.
  10. I attended Peterhead and McKay showed a lot more playing in behind the front two, his finish was accomplished. Further, when he came on for Shiels against East Stirlingshire, again the more central role allowed him to fully express himself. His performances against Falkirk and Berwick in the wider role have seen him substituted twice, deservedly. Our other wide player in both these games has been Lewis McLeod and he has confirmed the wide role is not his natural home. We rely on Wallace and Broadfoot as full backs/ wing-backs to provide width.
  11. Ian Black was NOT cautioned, and did NOT look like being cautioned. The BIG negative is we do not look like width will be part of our game anytime soon.
  12. Hhhmmm, what Martin Ritchie has failed to explain is whether Dave Mac(the former PA announcer) was suspended as a CONSEQUENCE or as a PUNISHMENT? Apparently, we the people do NOT know the difference. BBC Scotland's Jim Spence, Stuart Cosgrove, Rheinhart Gordon, Chris McLaughlin, ..................... et al have continuedly said so; thus I am sure they will furnish us with the appropriate answer. All in the interests of our continued education, you understand? I am sure Dave Mac can now add the soubriquet, 'bad boy'. Maybe, he will prefer the tag-line, 'Dave Bad Bairn Mac'. Sounds really dangerous!
  13. I agree. I endured hospitality at Balmore on Saturday. If the result was unappetising, 45 minutes of Andy Cameron regurgitating jokes from the Sunday Post's Merry Mac's page saw me hurry from the marquee. The price we pay to follow, follow. A four hour car journey home concentrates the mind. Given our back five possess almost 200 caps, we should NOT lose two goals to Peterhead. However, we controlled the game for the first 30 minutes, that's 10 minutes longer than we managed at Glebe Park. I predict we might achieve an entire first half against Falkirk in the Ramsdens? Fitness and sharpness aside, we are playing our football in front of the opposition. We are not getting in behind. This must be resolved soonest.
  14. The hoover is Moira's friend, she sighs at it's constant ability to vibrate on demand. Moria is demanding.
  15. Nuremberg Hugh spent a quarter of a century touring Sellik supporters club making speeches and culminating with, "our day will come". He played to the gallery, was cheered to the echo, and took home the cash wedge. Truly, he is one to moralise.
  16. Poor Moria, covered in black and blue marks because the barge poles have pushed her away for years, has harnessed her carefully nurtured hate. Her piece is an attempt to get comfortable with the fact that Rangers continue to exist. Moria chose to hate Rangers because it was the path of least resistance, it was the easiest way to progress in broadsheet journalism and make money. There is a direct corrolation between Moria's standard of life and her increasing need to articulate her hatred for Rangers. How do you judhe the worth of a journo's career?
  17. I listened to Jim Spence commentating on his beloved United's thrashing in Moscow on Thursday evening. Three-zip down at half time and he trotted out the gulf in class being down to resources, when the fifth hit the net he was inconsolable. During his post match analysis, he interceded with the various text messages he was receiving, "the fans of one club are gloating at United's defeat". Rheinhart Gordon answered, "well, Dundee fans will have their fun". Jim was quick, "none of these messages are from Dundee fans, they're all from fans of one club gloating at another Scottish club's defeat". There you go, it's sinister and unquantifiable, but clearly Rangers supporters should know their place.
  18. David Murray's statement on EBTs - "ah wiz duped, so ah wiz".
  19. I believe Ronnie is the Press Association journo for Scottish football.
  20. Nicola doesn't do passion, she prefers lubrication.
  21. In light of Harper McLeod's remit reference the investigation into Rangers EBTs , two years past Peter Lawwell's daughter, Nicola was a recipient of their annual Placement Scheme. Nicola hopes for world peace, wants to open an animal sanctuary, and enjoys both facial and anal humiliation.
  22. Ah, but I'm sure he was shocked on Tuesday morning to find out he was NOT a member of the SPL Steering Committee on Media Rights. In fact, he was shocked to find out there was such a committee.
  23. I have read through the largely sympathetic reporting of the violence that erupted at Tannadice last evening. Dundee United fans are portrayed as, "stunned", "innocent", and "shocked". Cuddly rent-a-quote, Lorraine Kelly pointed the finger directly at the Russian fans and screamed 'witch'. She was correct in stating they climbed up and over, but omitted the reason. Reading the comments section of a number of daily newspapers, a number of non-Arabs in hospitality tell a different story. Top tier Arabs casually pelting Russians below with food and drink debris. Russians climbing up and over at the other end of the stand to attach a flag, find themselves also being pelted by Dundee pehs. Remonstrations lead to several corporate Arabs rushing the Russians and the punches are swapped. Now, this is the third time in three years where trouble has erupted in a Euro match at Tannadice. Further, it's a three in three for pitch invasions too. Last season, UEFA fined United £5,000. We can expect the usual cotterie of United celebs to join in with Lorraine to mitigate the images of fellow Arabs acting with impunity. Ricky Ross, Gary Robertson, Jim Spence, ........ et al will play the victim card. Stephen Thompson will step atop the moral high ground and display those qualities so demanded of Rangers supporters ie humility, remorse, and contrition. Don't hold your breath. If we draw Dundee United in either cup, we should refuse tickets because it's obvious the opposition fans safety cannot be guaranteed.
  24. Let's look at the 3 Objective Hosts of ra Show these last 25 years. The first dozen years saw Paul Cooney hold the designation. Radio Snyde founder, Sir Jimmy Gordon promoted Cooney to ra station's Chief Executive and Managing Director. However, Paul never gave up the gig on Superscoreboard, even when he served on the Board of Enterprise Scotland(Glasgow) for several years. Cooney had ra Sellik's PRO in the early-mid 80s; many believe he never stopped doing the job. Next up for a decade was Peter Martin, real name, Peter McGuire. Better known by Rangers supporters as, 'Bitter Martin'. Bitter started out 25 years past doing pub quizes around Lanarkshire, he labeled himself as, 'the Biggest Tim in Newarthill' on advertising posters. He sponsored a boys team in his home village called, 'the Newarthill Lions', they played in green'n'grey hoops. These last few years, it has been Jim ra Tim Delahunt. He is a bit more careful in his hate, allowing a coterie of Phil from Donegal, Sean from Prestwick, and Terry from Uddingston to continually spit the venom. Jim never interupts, just thanks them for their contribution.
  25. It's a nice piece of symmetry, ra Bhoy in Corduroy returns to the blatt to issue the coup de gras. Seriously, the triumphalist triumvirate of Mark Douglas-Home, Joan McAlpine and Kevin McKenna took the Herald sales from 115,000 daily to 60,000 in five short years. Former Sellik View Editor, McKenna brought in another former Editor of ra Sellik View, Donal Cowey as Sports Editor. They then appointed Spiers and Ewing Grahame as Chief Sports Writer and Chief Football Writer respectively. During that five years, they actively denied Rangers supporters access to the debate, it was a one way street of hate. Younger Gersnetters might think constant criticism of all things Rangers was new to the Herald. Far from it, Jim Traynor, Ian Archer, and Cyril Horne had held the designations above for in excess of 40 years. However, correspondence disagreeing with their viewpoints had always been printed. Vibrant debate made the Herald most attractive and sustained it's quite incredible circulation. I stopped purchasing ra Herald 11 years past, after a Spiers match report on an opening day fixture between Dunfermline and ra Sellik. All other papers and broadcast outlets had remarked in the sustained sectarian abuse directed at the Pars new signing, Ian Ferguson. MON was forced to comment, "he's big enough and old enough to handle opposition fans' abuse". On Monday morning, I read Spiers opening line, "Ian Ferguson has all the charm of a child molester". Those still employed at Herald Towers should implore their Editorial staff to think again. The Botanical Truth Fairy is totally irresponsible.
