  1. The real reason the third round is being drawn before the second round tie is played; quite simply, it gives Thomas Cook Travel enough time to inform travel club members that they cannot provide the necessary package, again!
  2. Today, Jum Spence reported live from Dens Park. Further, he performed the half time draw for Dundee.
  3. It's a mystery? Jum Spence has a column in the Dundee Courier; remember, he told us last season that Dundee was now a three club city? Of course, United and Dundee fc are local favourites, but such is the attractiveness of Brenda's brand of football that Dundonians are pledging their allegiances to ra green'n'grey in increasing numbers. Such is the lure, that Jum finished last season live reporting for BBC Scotland from Station Park, Glebe Park, Links Park, and Gayfield. This season, his live responsibility appears confined to the Perth saints. In another thread, I have alluded to Jum's reluctance to be reporting live from Tannadice. Instead, Big Dick and Wullie Miller hosted, 'Open all Mikes' from United's home midden. Now, Jum was employed at Tannadice for several months. He was hired as Stephen Thompson's Consultant. Thus, in part he is responsible for the sewerage lapping around the nostrils of his fellow Arabs. Yesterday at Links Park he offered a devastating minute on matters Tangerine - there is no new investment, all monies paid for Thompson's shares went to Thompson, Tannadice is held on a credit note, and the training ground is held on two credit notes. We know Jum was banned from Dens Park on two separate occasions and BBC Scotland sent other reporters to report live. Could the same be happening at Tannadice, Jum's been told to fcuk off, and his principled colleagues are filling in, again? Like Sell Out Saturday, Jum's current predicament is a mystery! Surely, Chris McLaughlin will be offering Jum some solidarity? Angela Haggerty was introduced on Shereen Nanjiani's ninety minute current affairs show as, 'a Sunday Herald columnist'. There was no mention of her being sacked as the blat's News Editor. There is a recurring theme on Angela's several appearances on this particular gig, she promotes her next day's column. Yesterday, Sir Cliff Richard's victory in the High Court dominated discussion. Angela was unhappy with the verdict and offered no sympathy for enduring an invasion of privacy. No, Angela was angry with the Bachelor Boy, he has means of accessing media to get his side of the story out there. Angela battered the Beeb on Saville, pointed out Rolf Harris and Stuart Hall only faced justice on being named. Today, Haggerty's column confirms she is paid twice for stating the same thing in different mediums, "Congratulations Sir Cliff, you've just done sex offenders a big favour". In both mediums, Angela did not mention Jim Torbet, Frank Cairney, John McCulloch, ..... etc. I would argue that the self styled Captain Haggerty and BBC Scotland do their favoured football club a big favour by penning reports on trials of those charged and previously convicted(thus, can be legitimately named) and indulge in euphemisms such as, 'Barrowfield training ground' and, 'East End football club'. Indeed, it's a mystery.
  4. BBC Radio Scotland hosted their, 'Open all Mikes' from Tannadice today. Big Dick and Wullie Miller started with, "there is less than five hundred in here today" at ten to three. Both agreed after ten minutes that the attendance did not exceed one thousand. When the official attendance revealed 1,659; they said they would believe the figure if it was 659, it was NEVER 1659. Wullie Miller was laughing during the penalty shoot=out. Jum Spence reported from the St Johnstone game at Montrose, last week he reported from Saints against East Fife. I wonder if Jum is not welcome at his beloved tangerines? Anyways, Big Dick engaged him on the super low attendance right before kick-off and Jum revealed : the fans are not engaging with Laszlo, Tannadice is held on a cover note by someone owed a debt, and the training ground is similarly held by two creditors. Of course, Big Dick did not ask the burning question, 'how is sell-out Saturday progressing Jum;? We should be told. Any questions, contact Mr Spence on, 'jumisafud.com'.
  5. I believe Scott Mullen to be a devotee of the claret and amber. BBC Scotland have two Rangers supporters. Richard Wilson is confined to a drawer somewhere in the depths of PQ, and Derek Ferguson is known as, 'the token'.
  6. It's worse than we think. There was a questionnaire sent to all 129 MSPs in Autumn'16; it was a standard favourite band, book, holiday destination, football team, .................. etc type of thing. I think it was November that the results were released, only one MSP, Murdo Fraser admitted to supporting Rangers. Surprisingly, 13 MSPs claimed to support Partick Thistle. Of course, over forty preferred the green'ngrey hooped horrors. I blame Murray for his failure to cultivate a raft of cross party support. There is nothing that moves civil servants/local government/public funded bodies/quangos etc quicker that an envelope embossed with the portcullis arriving atop their in-tray. There is a genuine grievance here, BBC Scotland do it because they can. It is NOT acceptable.
  7. Apparently, the Compliant Officer has offered Hearts the following ruling : Celtic will be awarded three points and Rangers deducted 10 points. Hearts have yet to reply. BBC Scotland's Chris McLaughlin reports, 'it's a most fair decision for all concerned'.
  8. Here's an idea. Remember our first season in the Championship, it was all over by late November? We visited Tynecastle and were deservedly defeated 2-zip by the model club. BBC Radio Scotland were in raptures, their collective joy runneth over. At the end of Cosgrove's show, a call from, 'Gordon the Jambo from Glasgow' was patched through. He told of the songs sung from the boys in maroon, 'you let your club die' and, 'your not Rangers anymore'. DrStu' was in raptures, repeating every line uttered by ................... his show's Producer. I suggest Gordon the Jambo from Glasgow gets to decide Hearts punishment/ Seriously, why was McLean allowed to play on Cove's artificial surface? Previous clubs have protected the player from the constant impact of artificial surfaces.
  9. There is a spectrum of stupidity. This clown racially abuses a number of children,. films it, then uploads said film onto You tube. It's the equivalent of shooting yourself in each foot, then in the head. Well done the club, hopefully another Bear will recognise the voice/remember the incident and daub him into the police.
  10. Amid Rangers ongoing woes, a number of mantras were taken up by the mainstream media, including, Hearts are a model club". Despite £26 million of unpaid debt, Anne Budge had rescued the Jambos and the amplification on unpaid newsagents, florists, face painters, ................. etc was turned so low, only a hunting hound could hear the forlorn whistle. In reality, 'Hearts are a model club' was a taunt fashioned by Biscuits Preston, Jum Spence, Tom English, ........ etc to tease and bait disgruntled Bears. The depths plundered by Auntie Beeb in particular would challenge submariner, Vladimir Romanov. Anyways, Hearts(the model club) have issued a statement this evening, admitting in the 65th minute of last night's League Cup tie against Cove Rangers, they fielded an ineligible player, Andrew Irving. The statement includes all the important phraseology; internal procedures, mistakes happen, and my favourite, 'inadvertent breach of rules'. Apologies to both Cove Rangers and the relevant authority will help, but on the 23rd of July, Hearts go before the beaks. What should the punishment be? Hearts have couriered in thirteen players this close season, whilst driving out a dozen; perhaps they have morphed into, 'a Yodel club'?
  11. The Daily Record's Sports Editor, Darren Cooney(Rangers hating, IRA supporting, Dandy Don) is reporting Rooney has trebled his wages at Salford City. There is no report of a transfer fee. Cooney laments that his beloved Dandies are left with only two forward players, Stevie May and Sam Cosgrove. Here's a solution Darren, your blat has a commercial arrangement with ra Yahoos(you publish both ra Sellik View and the match day programme), team up with Auntie Beeb's Big Dick and Liam McLeod and blow the cheese off Peter, Brenda, Desmond, ................. et al. Maybe, they'll allow you to take Ryan Christie on loan for a third year, or loan you Nadir Ciftci, or Leigh Griffiths, or loan .................... etc Darren, you know you're gagging to do it!
  12. It's official and depressingly true. All license fee paying Rangers supporters, including those who are infirm, elderly, and lack appropriate means do NOT receive the same service as supporters of other Scottish teams. Liam McLeod and Pat Bonner sent to Armenia to cover Sellik's Euro tie, and John Barnes and Peter Houston sent to the Faroe Islands to cover Hibs. Rangers supporters were served Liam McLeod and Billy Dodds in a Pacific Quay studio, watching the TV. Big Dick continually utilises the euphemism, 'we will be keeping an eye on events' to describe commentating from the telly. Last night, it was Big Dick, Liam McLeod, Pat Bonner, and Scot McDonald all at Breezeblock Boulevard. Peter Houston(well he is a Sellik man) was on the line from the Faroes, complimenting Sellik on their new PA system and BBC Scotland for their coverage, "sitting here, feeling the atmosphere, just like being at the game Richard". Big Dick assured the listeners that they would be live at Pittodrie next Thursday for the Dandy Dons against Burnley, and their would be coverage of Hibs in Greece. Live commentary from Norway is guaranteed on Tuesday evening for the Yahoos. Our trip to Croatia has been ignored. Why are none of our political representatives highlighting BBC Scotland's continued deliberate non provision of service to a specific section of society?
  13. Ah, but last evening the McCoist conditioned Nicky Clark missed both a penalty and a sitter in Dundee United's 1-0 defeat in Dingwall. So, that's good then.
  14. I have read in the P and J that Aberdeen's Adam Rooney will finalise a move today, to Salford City. I have never saw Rooney as the striker that Big Dick Gordon claims him to be; however, it's hard to argue against his tally of 78 goals in four seasons. Salford City have been promoted from the National North League to the National League(the old Conference). Five members of Man U's class of '92 own the club and are intent on achieving league status, two promotions in three years. The P and J claim Salford are doubling Rooney's wages to £5k per week. In lieu of this transfer, where do the Dandies find the optimism to think they'll do Burnley in the Europa? Cosgrove shares this optimism, indeed promotes it. If Aberdeen's main striker is off to the fifth tier, how do their deluded cheerleaders rationalise a victory over the team that finished sixth in the English top tier?
  15. I have a warm memory of visiting Roker Park for a pre-season testimonial and seeing David run onto a through ball, he lobbed the Keeper for Rangers third in a 3-1 victory. He was a member of an outstanding Rangers youth side, that all found great difficulty in breaking into such a strong first eleven and first team squad, all internationals. The only thing worse than this diagnosis, is the prognosis. Best wishes.
  16. The Blatt's Editor is Neil McKay, he has NOT been seen at Herald Towers since the last week in May. We are told Neil is suffering from a stress related illness. Haggerty's appointment as News Editor was McKay's decision. I fear spectacular mis-management of the paper may lead to it's demise. Probably, we are talking fifty jobs, and then the knock-on effect thereafter. This happens when you give someone a crucial designation within the organisation that has little experience and is bereft of the appropriate qualifications. Neil McKay has lacked the necessary responsibility. Haggerty will be awarded more time on BBC Radio Scotland, she will continue to refer to Rangers supporters as Nazis, and play the vicTIM card regularly.
  17. Tonight's players in the PQ theatre were as follows : Big Dick as anchor, Chico Young as the Pierrot, Liam McLeod as commentator, and Billy Dodds EBT as one no longer considering himself to be a Rangers supporter. Al four were confined to the PQ stage. BBC Scotland had no representation in Macedonia. Before the game, silly Billy stated, "in terms of catching both Aberdeen and Celtic, Rangers are five players off". At half-time, Chico slaughtered Morelos, "his decision making is that of a bad amatuer player", and Big Dick reminded the audience that last season we conceded more goals than the four teams below us. Of course, we scored more goals than all teams in the league but that was conveniently forgotten. After the match finished, it was well done Jim Duffy, "Rangers did what they had to do, comfortably". Further, I agree with his observation that we look lop-sided, everything going down the right. I suspect Flanagan's reliance on his right foot might be the basis of the observation? BBC Scotland sent both Liam McLeod and Pat Bonner to Armenia for ra Sellik game, if they are live from the Faroes for the Hibs game, then they are deliberately short changing license fee paying Rangers supporters again.
  18. The price of outing Mhairi Black's girlfriend?
  19. Coverage of today's game is provided by BBC Radio Scotland, beginning at 16.30hrs. As yet, I do not know who the commentator, colour commentator, or the show's anchor are? Not that it matters, the usual initial necessary talk about raising the co-efficient will be followed by tepid talk about all things Rangers. If Rangers go out, we will be blamed for lowering the co-efficient. If we win, then attention will turn to songs/behaviour of the Rangers support.
  20. I note Angela Haggerty's Sunday column has not appeared in this week's Sunday Herald. Maybe, Neil McKay substituted Jeanette Findlay for Haggerty? Haggerty will appear on BBC Radio Scotland this coming Saturday morning.
  21. Jeanette is a senior lecturer at Glasgow University, I believe she is a member of the Economics faculty. She is not gay, she was named a decade past as the other woman in a divorce action. Apparently, she had been having an affair with the Chair of ra Sellik supporters association for a few years. I cannot remember his name, but he was married with five children.
  22. Jeanette Findlay has been awarded a column in today's Sunday Herald. I am sure there is no correlation between the recently appointed News Editor, Angela Haggerty and the appearance of active IRA supporter, Jeanette Findlay?
  23. English commentators commentating on England's participation in the world cup annoying you? DrStu' has the solution, "there's a good fish restaurant in the Calton, A'Challtain that turns the volume down on their screen, allows you to watch the game, whilst jazz funk is played over the PA". John Beattie suggests DrStu' should forget about English commentators, "ah cannae, we shouldn't forget about them", mumbles the denizen of Dennistoun. In his advancing years, DrStu' appears riven by forgetfulness, A'Challitain is ten yards from the Squirrel Bar, HQ of the Green Brigade. You can enjoy monkfish wrapped in pancetta with an effigy wrapped in a Rangers scarf hanging on the side. I wonder if Cannon Tom White at St Alophonsus(ten yards the other side of the Squirrel Bar) and the balaclava wearing hordes get down on the one, stone grooving on the jazz funk? Do DrStu', Cannon Tom, and the Green Brigade march to the same tune? We should be told. Yesterday, DrStu' was boastful of his constant support for Croatia, small nation fighting for it's independence; over throwing their Serbian oppressors. Of course, Croatia was independent during the war, both the Nazis and Mussolini granted their freedom to purify their country. The Ustase loved their work, cheered on by the Croatian rc church. After the war, the most efficient Nazi escape lines to South America were administered by the Ustase and their cheerleaders. We shouldn't forget about that amid the flag waving nationalism. Connie McLaughlin returned to PQ airwaves yesterday, another shill for Celtic FC; she was anxious to flash her 'inner buzz' credentials, and her introduction included, "well, it's not exactly a full house here today at Celtic Park". I guess we will have to wait for the attendance figures for yesterday's friendly against Standard Liege to emerge? Another PQ stalwart re-appeared to help co-present Dr Stu's show, Annie McGuire interspersed her obsession with her six year old daughter with a few digs at Rangers. No longer is Annie riling against the Reformation or proclaiming, "Celtic are a lovely club, full of ethics"; she has joined DrStu' as a practitioner of careful hate. The guests were Lana Clelland, a forward for Fiorentina Ladies and Darren McGarvey(author of Poverty Safari). Lana is a Rangers supporter, attended Thursday night's game and proclaimed herself disappointed. Annie chortled as she offered, "but you'd say you were making Progres". Lana handled herself well, deserves far more exposure. I recommend McGarvey's tome, it's a good interesting read. It's not the successor to Rowntree's sponsored surveys of poverty in York in the late 19th/early 20th centuries that some have promoted, but is a worthy winner of the Orwell Prize. Darren sounds fragile, he is a recovering from a number of addictions. I suspect his appearance was to raise his profile, hie summed up his football involvement in a line where he admitted to attending Sellik Park with his granny, then telling all his school mates were Rangers supporters. He liked the pies at ra Stydome and feels sorry for the service industries around Ibrox, the economic impact of smaller crowds? Credit to DrStu' and Lana for pointing out Rangers crowds have not diminished. The Orwell Prize is prodigious, a number of prizes are awarded for making political writing an art form, just like George's tomes. Darren was honest in not being really aware of it, but enjoyed the experience. Of course, another winner of the Orwell Prize was the Rangers Tax Case Blog. DrStu's constant refrain is transparency, he wants transparency in political life and in football life. As Rangers supporters we still don't know whose mantle piece hosts the trophy? DrStu' or his nomme de guerre, 'Sarah Leyden'(his Donegal born maternal gran) was a regular contributor to the RTC Blog, as were a number of well known Scots journos. However, DrStu' has stated on a number of occasions on Auntie Beeb that the RTC Blog is old news and we should all forget about it. Hhhhmm, transparency? We should not forget about it, why should we be left hanging like those effigies above the north stand. Is that DrStu's postioning of the Rangers support, strange fruit twisting in the breeze? Again, we should be told.
  24. I thought we over played in front of the opposition, and occasionally around them. Often, Morelos was dragged into areas to link up/contribute to moves, meaning he was not inside the area when the cross was eventually achieved. Windass ghosted in across the front to the near post and managed to get under the headers. Morelos is strangling opportunities, when he is in position, he is going marginally too early. Overall, it was a disjointed. We created a dozen chances, took two. We did not concede. McGregor had a most quiet match, a series of corners fifteen minutes into the second half was his only test. I do not think any of the midfield subs changed the match, maybe Ajeria's probing caused a few problems. Middleton is direct, has pace, and quick feet. The Shkupi right back was exasperated, correctly cautioned, and he chucked it twice. Tuesday's second leg is most dependent upon who scores first.
