  1. Life is simply too short. One season in the lower leagues is quite enough for me. The quicker we get up, the faster we get better players, the faster I start enjoying the football again. Couldn't give a monkeys about the morality, or otherwise, of the situation. Agree with zaps we should never have been down in the first place anyway.
  2. Sebo!!!!!!
  3. This kind of short term pish breaks my heart. We have no vision for the future. Awful news.
  4. Shame about Edge...
  5. I want straight back up. There. Said it.
  6. A fair, accurate and balanced look at things. Whatever next?
  7. The evidence so far is that he aint a miracle worker. Still, pretty fucking annoying at times isn't it?
  8. Who cares who plays at CB for the rest of the season? We are strolling to the title and the dafties will all be replaced when the ban is lifted anyway. One would hope.
  9. We're obviously short everywhere except left back! Missing Mcleod a LOT.
  10. Long ball - tastic again tonight. Little the only player on the park....
  11. So we want to instill a philosophy, yep ok. We want to win every game, of course we are Rangers. What can we as fans actually do about it? For a start, I don't actually believe a 'philosophy' is that important. In fact out of the 50 or so top clubs in the world, probably only barca have a discernible philosophy that isn't "buy the best players you can, augmented by two or three outstanding academy products." If you get the right players in and have a decent youth set up, you end up with a football team, simple. What all the fans reps should be doing at every one of thsee endless CG meetings is pressing home the fact that all we care about now we are alive again is the football. FFS get a network of scouts sorted and put a signing policy in place. No one over 22 unless they are a special case. I hate to say it but recently the scum never seem to pay over 2m and 3 out of 5 turn into 5m players within a season. And no it's not media hype, they are finding players we knew nothing about. I'm aware CG has mentioned a signing policy and we may not get to see it or judge it fairly until we are back on top, but we should really press this issue, never mind shirt sponsors and stadium names, who cares? I want the football back.
  12. The OP is divisive, of course it is. There are aspects of our history that some feel uncomfortable with and would rather hear nothing about. Obviously, they're dreaming and have to accept some of the baggage that comes with Rangers. However, I like to think we are all agreed that the songs which harm the club, not EVERY political/historical song, need to stop.
  13. The stupid one that responds to trolling.
  14. So if he doesn't play them it's only cos they aren't his favourites (shit manager) and if he does play them he's a shit manager. Poor Ally.
  15. Sandaza has largely been rotten for us whilst little has banged them in all season. I know Fran has had injury problems but I suspect his shitty attitude means he will never be a true Ranger and win many hearts and minds. Not impressed with perry either but could stomach his return, not that of the greetin faced spaniard.
  16. Concerns about indiscretions and his personal life? Sounds like he's been hanging around wi bomber. Maybe he'd had a few and asked Charlie for a wee look at the deeds!
  17. A very interesting and pertinent thread. Amms makes a good point about the general level of football advertising in glasgow and the fact that we don't champion it enough. I suspect good old Scottish negativity and an element of shame at the darker side of things stops the old firm being a visual presence all ovet the city as they should be. Living in the Southern Hemisphere, the first thing a new person asks is "Rangers or Celtic?" We truly are a worldwide brand and more should be done about it.
  18. Aside from the fact that this is, at the moment, an unsubstantiated nothing story, I'd like to know why some posters are questioning a chap with a reliable track record who says he has inside knowledge that plg was not in fact a European super coach hampered by players wanting to eat HP sauce. Is it that said posters have chosen to believe certain stories previously pushed by what is now commonly referred to as the mhedia? Is it also because these past stories satisfied a negative agenda against all things Rangers and a misguided notion that foreign is better by definition? FUCKING YAWN.
  19. GS, you're nothing if not consistent laddie Now you're posting Spiers articles as long as they get at Green. Spiers!! The article basically says "I can't help but like the guy but I really hope he fails/is full of "bluster"/is hounded out of Ibrox by disgruntled fans for not spending enough". No creep on Gersnet. Ta.
  20. That was honestly a quality production. Well paced, very emotional, good music etc. pretty painful at times but with an overarching air of positivity. Pretty much sums things up for me.
  21. A good read, but then I do prefer fiction...no way does he have that many irons in the fire. Well, maybe the linfield game might come off. Half a billion in five years. Follow the Ajax model. Wembley way but in govan blah blah moonbeam. Feeling cynical tonight. Want action.
  22. I will bet you 12 cyber pints that Alexander is for the off and we are not committing financial suicide ffs
  23. Look back over the start of the thread.
  24. A classy player who had options to do the best for his family due to his age and talent. I believe every player that left must be judged individually. If green says he left with the clubs best wishes and that he personally had a hand in ensuring we were paid then he's alright with me. We all champion jig but in reality he would have had no attractive options available to him. Ditto Alexander. Wallace is the only one I believe did something special. Davis would be welcomed back by me.
