  1. Did you feel like that when Nacho scored that penalty against Fiorentina?:admin:
  2. Cotter

    Two Names

Aye, perfect. Can't see it though.
  3. A Liverpool 3rd string containing Gerrard, Torres, Mascherano, Carragher, Benayoun, Kuyt, Reina, Alonso..........
  4. Just had a wee rummage around t'interweb and by all accounts the guy looks a very good signing. The Algerians and the S.Wednesday fans call him "The Warrior". While at the same time all the vids show a player with pace who is comfortable on the ball and has great distribution. I know you can't judge people on their "best of" clips, but you get an idea of their style and I like what I see and hear. A 25 yr old international CB with experience of football on these shores who has had a great relationship with fans wherever he's been is good business in my book. If we now get a decent midfielder or two in, then we're looking in great shape. Cheer up all! The King and The Warrior. Now all we need is the Wizard...........
  5. Never seen him play, but like someone said earlier, we needed another CB and we've got one now. The worrying part is the assertion in a few of the signing articles that he can play in midfield too. NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
  6. That's about as good a draw as we could have hoped for. Fantastic!
  7. Aye I really enjoyed it too. Old Bazza really does ooze charisma does he not:D
  8. Aw for fuck's sake. So we go into a season defining match minus our two most influential players having stuttered through what was, on paper, a canter of a pre-season programme (bar Schalke). Now I don't normally read much into pre-season but I've listened to most of the games and it's the same old story. No creativity whatsoever. At least Cuellar could guarantee you a nil nil against diddy teams like Kaunas. Who are half way through their season and top of their league..... Also, I suspect we are in for a season of "Why doesn't he play Velicka, how come Miller gets a game regardless of performances!?". Don't get me started on Captain Kirk.

    gers eye etuhu

    Like Tam Buffel for instance.
  10. I'm not so sure about that Gribz. I think there will be lots of right minded bears ready to shout down the boo boys, myself being one of them. You won't get turned on for cheering him. Maineflyer's going to get an earful from yours truly if he's as good as his moronic word... :uzi:
  11. DA could always unearth you a good central midfielder. Tugay and Reyna being great examples of guys we didn't know much about. Get yer finger out Walter and all the best Claudio. I used to love his post match interviews about making the Dee-fense work etc. Some boy.
  12. Great toilet humour in the headline:thup:
  13. fucking love fonejacker:notworthy:
  14. Hmm. So the terms of his contract mysteriously changed around the time of BF's injury did they? Why would the player lie about something like that? Honestly the transfer window is a nightmare these days.
  15. Aye Pete Aissati's a great player. Wattie won't have a clue who he is and I doubt we could afford him anyway.
  16. Aye I like it. The socks are shocking though. The worst I've seen. At least they're red and black though......
  17. Aye settle down folks he'll be fine. Having said that why the fuck there are tackles flying in at this stage is a mystery..........
  18. Er, it was a joke. Fuck me.
  19. "back where i belong" indeed. He's wearing a hooped polo shirt FFS.
  20. A creative player need not play through the middle. A quality RM/Winger would do nicely. If you have two decent wingers and strikers who can find the back of the net with ease you don't really need a no.10.
  21. Would WS have persevered with Hutton throughout his dodgy form? We'll never know......
  22. I would expect us to make a formal approach for Marek Suchy if Coisty is serious about the calculated gamble approach.
  23. Tell you what champ, you show me the evidence of him beating a man, not being ahead of a man in the box and scoring but actually beating a man. I'll even include knocking the ball a yard or so to the side of a defender before a finish. I'm not a Boyd hater and I'm well aware it's not part of his game if we're going to argue over the same isuues that have been done to death on this and every forum. I said he's never beaten a man, you say he has. Mon then:box: :moon:
  24. I've never seen him beat a man.:box:
  25. Boydnet. Every second bloody thread.:uzi:
