I thought Edu was panicky whenever 2 or more players closed him down against Hibs. At least Ferguson is adept at retaining posession rather than flapping about and surrendering the ball. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Edu's shite or that I don't think he will ever grow into the shirt, just that I'd much rather Ferguson in the middle for the run in. In fact I'd rather Davis in there but we know that ain't happenin. Answer honestly now : Edu or Barry v celtic in the final OF? Edu is not up to it yet. edit: if he's out for the season it's a moot point but I'd like answers none the less

I took my dad down to Anfiled on Saturday there for his 60th and brought this "liverpool-celtic connection" matter up with a few locals pre match in a lively boozer. They don't give a fuck about Celtic and in fact have nothing but disdain for the scum due mainly to the thievery of YNWA and even the pre match huddle. The bheggars are seen as the wee guy in the playground that would suck the bully's cock if he asked him to. Unlike the "clappers", the Koppites know how to show some respect by impeccably observing a minutes silence. This despite the fact that emotions still run high regarding historically recent events that affect their families on a daily basis. Celtic on the other hand were happy to use the death of Phil O'Donnell, a man that played for another team, to their footballing advantage, whilst playing on regardless after the death of Mr Celtic, Tommy Burns. Silence on Armistice day? Those fuckers couldn't even tell you what the war was about never mind show the intelligence to rise above their half-baked ideologies and realise that the only reason they have the opportunity to go to the scumdome in the first place is because brave men laid down their lives. Justice for the 96 indeed. I'd wager they don't know what that means either. -

Travelled down last night with my old man. He lived in Liverpool til he was twelve and hadn't been back since. It's his 60th next week and I managed to get a pair of tickets on ebay. A snip at �£220 the pair! Great weekend, classy hotel on the cheap from laterooms.com (many of us will remember them from trying to find accomodation inManchester) and probably the best goal I've ever seen live by the best striker in the world right now, Fernando Torres. And Mascherano is simply a beast with finesse. 4-0 to the reds. Blackburn outclassed. Happy Birthday Da!

Can anyone say for sure this wasn't just a "lucky" photo? I mean, were the two of them sitting with their hands like that for ages or did the photographer just happen to catch the moment at a particularly serendipitous time? When I first saw the photo I couldn't believe there was a genuine story in it, has no-one else thought this?
