  1. Thought you might like that:) Still wondering if you continue to want to "Sack Walter Smith now" ?
  2. Is that Steven Fletcher for your avatar? If you want to show your support for Scotland get Boyd celebrating when he scored against Latvia, not that sellik wannabe:devil:
  3. Murray Park is pish blah blah.......
  4. IS he Darryl King?
  5. Just read that he's a free kick specialist as well? It's about time. Haven't had one since you know who!
  6. What a wonderful surprise! I'll admit that I haven`t seen him play for a while but when I did, I always thought he was a standout, particularly that year Monaco went all the way in the CL. Welcome to The Rangers and of course..... GIRUY bheasts:spl:
  7. Looking for a bit of help here guys. I'm currently travelling round South America so I canny watch the highlights of the games on the BBC site as they only show in the UK. The highlights on youtube are mostly of terrible quality. Is my only option to pay up and join Gers World? Or does anyone know of a decent free site? I'm planning to try the pay per match thing on the fishul site when I get to a country with broadband but for now it's very frustrating. The thought of missing out on CL games is driving me mad too so any help there would also be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

    Boyd to Leave

Stay. However, if it were earlier in the window and we got 4m for him and could re-invest it then go.
  9. Just thought I'd pop this in from the Herald today. Mowbray claiming that McGeady only got sent off cos Eduardo got away with a dive and the media went mental: Mowbray refused to view the incident on television in the immediate aftermath when invited to do so by an ESPN interviewer. "I was asked to look at it again but I didn't need to, it happened right in front of me," said Mowbray. "Ninety-nine times out of 100 he would not be booked for it and if the Eduardo situation had not blown-up so big, it would never have happened." The Celtic substitute, Chris Killen, escaped punishment despite two more obvious incidents of diving while the assistant referee, Gary McSweeney, flagged for a free-kick in Celtic's favour when McGeady went to ground. Mowbray believes McDonald's decision was based on recent controversy and not the events of the actual incident itself. "The context of the incident was that the boy McGeady had travelled 40 or 50 yards and had already skipped two tackles," he said. "He has seen another one and, to be honest, I think tiredness crept in; he was knackered. Never in a million years was it a sending off: it's not as if he was trying to influence the referee and he wasn't throwing his arms up. "I think it needs a bit of game knowledge otherwise we will get to a situation where there are no players left on the pitch. Everybody can have a strong opinion but my professional opinion is no way. The linesman signalled for a free-kick to us. "He was in a better position than the referee, who was influenced by the diving debate. McGeady did not plan to simulate a dive or create an advantage; players like him must ride tackles or they will never be able to play football." Can you imagine Walter coming out with cringeworthy shite like that? GET IT RIGHT FUCKIN UP YOU BHEGGARS HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!
  10. Get this as a stickie in the bluenose lounge ASAP!!!
  11. Would be sensational IMO and therefore I strongly suspect is bollocks.
  12. I understand your point of view, but do you feel the same way when managers remain stoic when their team scores? To say john Greig should be looking at getting out of the club cos he never showed emotion when we put one by Hamilton Accies is nothing short of bizarre. A lot of guys of pensionable age dont go nuts when thier team scores. It doesn't mean they don't love their team or take satisfaction from goals. They've just mellowed! As to what he contributes, we all know it's not much. However you know as well as I do that in Greig's day a career in football didn't set you up for life financially. His "role" at the club was given to him as a gesture of thanks. He is , after all, widely regarded as the greatsest ever Ranger,.
  13. You still want WS sacked? Or did the double change your mind? Noticed you changed your wee comment.
  14. The trouble in Europe is that the CBs tend to have pace and don't tow caravans:box:
  15. I seriously think that no new CB means no SPL title. Boogie is away for the African nations at some point and I suspect that could cost us upwards of 6 points or so. Unbelievable. Big Lee at CB? I appreciate his goals this season but I'm sorry, he's still a shite player and I don't like to see him on the team sheet. At the very least recall Webster if it's possible.
  16. Er, no offense, but this thread is a total non event. Who gives a fuck if a guy doesnt openly show emotion when we put one by hamilton in the course of a rout? I suspect, like myself, in a situation such as this, he probably took satisfaction from the goal but didn´t feel the sense of euphoria you get from an important goal against a team of a similar level of skill. We should be bumming teams like Accies at home, no question. Personally I would celebrate and hug my mates (or complete strangers if it's a big game) like I do every time the Rangers score. but really, come on man, if we're honest is Ibrox is full of maineflyer types who see the glass as constantly half empty and come away from the games with nothing but disdain for what they have just witnessed. I'll admit the idea is irritates me slightly but I wouldn't go so far as to question whether there is "no excuse" for not clapping.
  17. Just had a look at the fixtures and I don´t fancy opening away to Stuttgart followed by Sevilla at home. We could be looking at no points going into the double header with the "minnows". Also, our last game is away to Sevilla. Hmmm. Still:spl:
  18. According to some folk on here, that certain someone has recently "stepped aside".
  19. The least glamorous draw I can recall. Stuttgart again ffs? Canny believe it. Great chance of going through. On paper, our best ever chance I would say. CENTRE HALF NOW!!!!!
  20. There's a link to an article elsewhere on this thread which suggests Johnston, whilst being on the board, spent most of his time overseas. Perhaps any direct involvement on his part was previously minimal. From the minimal research I've done he looks a good choice.
  21. Fantastic players in their day. How old are they?
  22. Aye wee Dick must have been skint after that. And poor Willie Wadell trying to work out the instructions for those Jumbotron screens:confused:
  23. Here's a soundbite from Murray re the new man: "We are very fortunate to have Alastair," said Murray. "He's got far greater global reach in the sporting world than I've ever had. "He brings a completely different dimension and experience and, having been on board for five years, he understands the workings of the football club." Maybe one day we'll be able to get a bears top outside of glasgow....
  24. 14 championships 9 in a row Murray Park 5 star Ibrox. Not saying I think it's been an entirely glorious tenure, but you can see why the official site and also tomorrow's papers I suspect, will reflect generously on SDM´s 'reign'.
