Neil Lennon: I'll be interested to see if teams try as hard against Rangers

Does your keyboard not do capital Ys Craig? -
Thanks for that mate. An informed update as always. Do we have any friends in positions of power these days? Surely we still do. It seems to me that we as a support have rapidly, in the space of a couple of seasons, turned ourselves into the mirror image of the scum by believing that we don't. I'm fucking sick of hearing about it. 26th I know your post is intended to convey satisfaction at the removal of certain sympathisers from their lofty perches but the very fact that you felt it was relevant to highlight these aspects of the election results is surely a symptom of our recent descent into - dare I say it - victimhood. Surely I'm not alone in feeling that yes, the media are tim-weighted these days but I don't want to join in a dissection of the unassailable enemy every time I log onto a football forum. The club need to stand up for us in the media. Simple as that. We are still the people. I've had enough of the bheggars-are-now-in-positions-of-power shite. It's a couple of discredited journos and a similarly discredited "equality" activist. Enjoy their pain. I could have typed this out in response to dozens of posts on here recently, not meant as a dig at you 26th.

This inability to produce evidence of working capital seems to keep cropping up. Can any of our accountants explain why this might be a protracted procedure if he genuinely does have the money?

Fucking hell. I'd rather be seen to be a 90 minute bigot than a cowed conformist to a regime governed by ignorant jobsworths. What a fucking joke this has become.

I must admit I'm fairly optimistic about this lot. I particularly like the thought of a Hutton/Ness central pairing with Wylde on the left and Davis on the right. Gie it a bash Walter....Naw? Aye ok, ok playstation it is.
-
Yep, definitely needs a rest. He is a Rangers legend in my eyes for what he's done since he came here. Walter's best signing.
-
Totti is a broken record who has no comprehension or perspective of Walter's achievements in the current climate. Discuss.
-
If we go with Davis and Edu in the middle we're fucked. I can see Bartley back in there and a sheepish 1-0 loss.
-
They sold Liedson? Brilliant.

Living halfway round the world, I get the privilege of watching most games live. I still have to put up with this "impartial" prick on Rangers TV!

January 2011 Transfer Window - Healy, Diouf and Bartley IN

I like the Beattie to Blackpool rumour. -
He has fallen out of every game I've seen him play in the last 20 mins. Needs a rest.
-
I agree. That would be hilarious.

Jesus. The boy looks like he was born in the bowels of parkhead. No thanks. -
If he played consistently to the level he's capable of he'd be nowhere near Ibrox FFS. He's a youngster out on loan to gain experience. Fairly simple concept. We're lucky to have him.
-
Jig doesn't actually do much ball wiining at all though pete. He makes sideways passes. Most of his "crunching tackles" end up in a free kick for the opposition and a booking for big Lee. Edu does put the foot in though (although he is a little hesitant on the ball) and Ness doesn't look shy of a tackle either. Lee's poor technique lets him down too often and his lack of vision means that lots of opportunities to get the ball forward in a meaningful way are lost. I think he does carry a level of influence on the park personality wise though and that is where his importance lies.
-
I think Totti may have turned it into another "everything about Rangers, past and present is shite" thread.
-
"We'd just like to let other teams, particularly ones with more money, like celtic, know that we are actively pusuing this player." Great stuff Walter.
-
You've just shot yourself in the foot champ. I thought no one else was fit so Ness played? Kyle Hutton was fit you say? Who's he? Oh aye one of the kids that's right. The kids that never play. Except against Man U, Valencia and Celtic. Did we not win the league last season with an 18yr old CENTRE FUCKING HALF? Jesus. You lot are going to have a lot of apologising to do when Ally takes over and you realise how lucky we are to have Walter at the helm. Enough.
-
Ahh. So he does in fact play the youngsters but only because he's been forced to. You know he "doesn't like" playing them. Cos he told you, right? Or is it the look on his face when he sees them with the ball? Walter is a shrewd and successful football manager. If you can see that Ness is a player (you only saw him cos Walter played him, fucking Old Firm debut at 19) then Walter probably can too. Still waiting for you to tell me which youngsters haven't had their chance. I'll be waiting a long time won't I?
-
You blind mate? Can't count? Both? Take a look over the team sheets for the last three years. Now tell me the average age of the team. While you're at it tell me which youngsters that deserved a chance didn't get it. Go.
