Another day, another interview revealing exactly what our plans are. It's becoming clearer by the day that the �£5m a year includes wages. The "front-ending" for the coming season means we might get �£5m to spend on transfer fees this time around. Deflated.

TBH Rangers are dealing with this transfer in just the way we would expect. Prudently. We know he wants to come, badly, and we know they're skint, so we slap in the token offer, wait for the boy to do the work and come back to them when he's made a fuss. -
Perhaps if we made decent bids for either of these players the "assessment" period would go out the window as decisions would have to be made. FFS.

I'm leaning towards the nae dough camp. We've achieved absolutely nothing since the takeover. Not a single contract extended, not a hint of the squad being added to. A pathetic bid to bring the greatest Rangers defender of the last 10 years back does not appease. If there was any money, we'd be well on our way by now. Fuckin moonbeams Mk II.

Whittaker and Miller are good mates. I've seen them both out together in Glasgow on two separate occasions and I'm sure the fact is also well documented. Bursa have offered the boy silly money and Kenny's been on the phone like "Aye mate it's brilliant here, you'll your financial future secured, come over and we'll both eat the finest kebabs together" He's for the off and like many have said on here, it's a blessing in disguise. 20 grand a fucking week for Steven Whittaker? Away ye go!

I'm getting pretty annoyed by the blow by blow accounts of transfer/contract dealings coming from us, as I'm sure many are. Ally, two words you need to learn are NO COMMENT! Also paying Whittaker 20g a week is nothing short of negligence. It seems like Ally feels that keeping us all informed is a way of ingratiating himself to us. Mate, we prefer it when we've heard fuck all, other clubs are in the dark and the next big thing is holding up a Rangers top on the six o'clock news!!!!

It all comes down to the fact that Cuellar and Goodwillie are the only linked signings that we the fans are happy with in terms of genuinely adding quality to the team. The worry is that we're possibly going to hold back on fees and maybe lose out on these guys for the sake of saving money to flesh out the squad with lesser players for the sake of having greater numbers. Seriously Rangers, get these two fucking signed up and augment a squad of triple champions.

We must have been linked with 20 players since the end of the season. Cuellar is the only link that has any figures attached re a transfer fee. Ally has quotes attributed to him re Danns, Cuellar, Vaughan and Hemed and he's therefore confirmed the rags are on the right track in terms of players we're looking at. No transfer fees seems to be the early consensus and the rhebel are simply the first to say it. I'm certainly not jumping to conclusions and I'm hoping there are deals in the pipeline, but Mr White needs to act swiftly if he wants to avoid this turning into a moonbeams situation. I'm worried.

Hard to believe as it is, that's a blatant "come and get me" plea from the best defender we've had since Gough (IMO). Get it sorted Ally!!!
