The way he ditched us for Liverpool shows we were maybe not his first love. I'm sure SG will eventually leave us for Liverpool but I'm prepared for that - he was/is steeped in them.

The Solanke fee is ridiculous; he's barely had a run of games in the EPL and is still unproven. He will have to compete at Bournemouth with the excellent Calum Wilson and Joshua King so he may be on the bench a lot. How come no one thinks Newport County are anything other than the continuation of Newport County, despite being out of action for 6 months in 1989 I think it was. Next year (or when his contract expires) let's really annoy them by signing Lewis Ferguson. I've seen comments by some of their fans saying that he has some dodgy relatives. They don't deserve players like that. This is a young man destined for the top; we can help him reach there.
